Recently
we
visited
Suruchi
on
a
Sunday
afternoon,
and
as
far
as
I
can
remember
one
veg
thali
was
for
about
₹170
(approximately).
And
in
that
price
point
it's
a
great
meal!
Nice
sitting
-
not
very
outlandish
I
would
say.
But
that's
how
it's
been
like
here
-
for
ages!
I
have
only
come
here
twice.
And
both
times
I
had
a
very
similar
artisanal
home-like
experience
in
terms
of
hospitality
and
food.
It's
a
proper
Thali
system,
for
those
of
you
who
don't
know,
which
means
there's
only
one
menu
on
the
table.
Menu
alters
only
reasonably
with
a
few
changes
on
the
plate
around
sabzi
each
day.
This
makes
service
lightening
fast
as
everything
is
already
prepared.
Location
is
a
bit
hard
to
find.
It's
a
little
deep
into
the
market.
A
few
lanes
that
might
riddle
you
out
in
case
you're
not
using
navigation.
:P
Pro
tip:
come
here
on
a
Sunday
afternoon!
Their
expert
meal
-
Dal
Baati
and
Kadhi
is
reserved
for
a
Sunday
delight.
One
less
star
because
I
want
Suruchi
to
work
on
their
interior
a
little
bit.
Don't
go
too
far
into
redesigning
everything,
no.
Keep
that
ancient
vibe
to
your
decor.
But
a
little
retouching
and
a
paint
job
will
make
things
look
more
chirpy.
PS:
Shift
that
washroom
elsewhere,
please!
