This place is worth going if you want a quick break or a short vacation. Especially the resort was quite good and while staying there you cal also hear hyenas howling!!! And safari is of 2 to 3 hrs scheduled at early morning and at evening. With all of that it's a beautiful place!

Great place for nature explorer. roads are mostly broken while I am typing it. pls check . and take it slowly and easy to enjoy . no fuel station from kota or amarkantak side for 60 to 70 km .

The place is easily accessible from Bilaspur and takes about 45 minutes to reach. Government safari vehicles can be taken and can accommodate 6 adults. These cost around 4 thousand rupees which comes along a driver and a guide. The ride can get bumpy but the forest is beautiful and worth visiting. Wild animals are rare to come by but the main attraction is the forest and the clean air. Mobile network is not available in most of the forest. Safaris are arranged in the morning 6-9 and afternoon 3-6.

It was my dream place to visit and stay there in Amarkantak. Due to kovid 19 there were a few pilgrim who came to visit Narmada temple in the morning at 6.30am. We had a wide space for us to visit the shrine and worshipped the idol. We are quenched and content, though if I get another chance, I will be there again because I had to met with Barfani Baba, which I was unable to. 🙏🙏🙏

Overall very good and peaceful place with thick and lushed green forests. But unfortunately we couldn't see a single tiger here. Reasons are still not specified.

This place meant to be only for those who don't care about luxury and those who love to travel ,it's just adventurous to see natural species .

There are many resort , but book them before hand, or the private ones have unreasonably high cost. The food is delicious in the reserve's canteen and also in the nearby hotels.
