Impatient staff. Explained (in Spanish) that I didn’t speak much Spanish and apologised that didn’t know the name of the pastry. Which is why I pointed and smiled and said sorry. Ah, mariposa so butterfly, mariposa si, 3 por favor.. just about raised a smile from Mr Impatient. There are friendlier bakeries in the area with better bread and bakes.

Famously claimed to be the best bakery around the Valley, the bread, the coffee.. very stylish and unique design. If you are visiting the Basque Country and you are on your way to Zugarramurdi or the French part is definitely worth the stop!

Everything about this place is amazing - go to their original location in Huarte. Anything you order will be of prime quality. This is my favorite breakfast spot, especially while having guests
