The best selection of whisky's in Bilbao... In fact, the best I've seen anywhere in a long time. Great ambiance with live music playing along on some nights. Just a nice place to sit and drink, doesn't get any better than that.

The best cocktail bar in Bilbao. Really good stuff, I've had an awesome Penicillin and a Whiskey Sour, both made with ridiculously good and consistent execution. This is a real pro-level stuff, and I'm yet to find another one like this in Bilbao! The place is very cozy and comfortable, the staff is really caring and knowledgeable, the drinks are just perfect, and Guinness tastes the same as it does in Dublin. 10/10

My friend and I walked in around midnight in Friday night. Were very lucky to snaffle two seats in a happy drinking crowd. Great cozy atmosphere. Beer cold. Whisky perfect. Excellent whisky range. Recommended.

One of my all time favorite bars. Small but cozy. Not only it has the BEST selection of whiskies I can remember, but it's not short of mezcales, beers, cocktails. Wednesdays they host an Irish folk band.

Best, and probably the only, real whiskey bar in Bilbao. Manu, the owner said, "I wanted to create a bar that I would want to drink in." in fact he created a bar that I also want to drink in. With a focus on whiskey from all parts of the globe with a specialty in Islay Scotch, Residence offers a wonderful experience for the amateur or well traveled whiskey drinker. A large selection of Scotch, Irish and Japanese whiskey with an honest selection of American bourbons provide a rich drinking experience for anyone who needs their whiskey fix. Guinness certified pub, the stout is always at perfect temperature. Not a lot of space but a ton of heart, if you drink whiskey you want to drink here!

A nice little pub with a great Irish vibe. Great for a drink (tap Guiness!) and sometimes live music (try to arrive early to the jam sessions as it can get full easily). A bit aside from the best known pub-streets but still worth it!

What a find! If you love cocktails, look no further. You must come and try them here as they are expertly made (and I like my cocktails!). For whisky lovers try one of the 200 whiskies on offer! Might seem like a secret place at first but don't be afraid, come in and meet the friendly bar man and he'll russle up something great.

Small pub, wide selection of shorts, whiskey, gin rum and cocktails etc.. Decent pint of Guinness. I'm Irish. Bar man spoke limited English but understood what to order. He also tried to have a number of conversations with me in English as my Spanish is limited. As mentioned, it's a small pub and if you like that it's ideal. No problems at all.
