👍👍 The Wicklow Arms is a gem, nestled right in the centre of Bilbao. Michael is a gent, who makes one feel right at home right away, in his little hive of activity, which oozes convivial charm, and is well worth a visit if in the vicinity at all. People often mention Guinness, Great, Michael, atmosphere, owner, pint, Bilbao, Irish, good, friendly,

A hidden gem in bilbao. Michael is the perfect host, Guinness is the best I've had outside Ireland. Great atmosphere even though it's tiny. Had a couple of brilliant nights in here and it will be our first stop when we return to go to another match. Cheers for everything Michael

One of best Irish pubs in Spain. I am basing this on not necessarily about what it looks like or where it located, but on how I felt when I was there. Great people and a great pint of Guinness. Been a while since I visited, but would make a trip back to Bilbao just to visit.

Great little pub, unbelievable Guinness at €6 can’t complain, have the football on the TVs but it’s very small pub. Top service, highly recommend!

Went to see a RWC game there. It was great craic, the owner was sound, they gave out some free tapas late in the evening, and crucially the Guinness was nice (a very very rare thing outside of Ireland, €6 pint for those concerned).

Best pint of Guinness in Bilbao and it's not even close. Owner, Mike, is a gem of a person. No better place to spend a rugby or premier league matchday.

The only authentic Irish Bar in Bilbao. Great Atmosphere for 6 nations rugby and English and international football. Now has tables outside.

Given a warm welcome from Michael the owner when I went in to watch the Celtic game one day and the 6 Nations rugby on another day. Good Guinness, good wine and good chat from the many different nationalities present. Quite small but made for a really good, friendly atmosphere.

A wee gem of a bar. Came here on a rainy night to watch Scotland v England and had a brilliant evening. It’s small but packed with local characters and colour. Michael, the owner, is a real gentleman- very friendly, welcoming and pours a very nice Guinness too!

Small narrow pub with an Irish name. Very limited selection of draught beer. Only one member of staff on duty the day of our visit and he was very friendly. As space is very limited we sat outside and ended up drinking from the bar across the road which had a better selection of beer. If you are looking for an Irish pub experience you could do better

Small, friendly and pours a fair sized measure. I stopped in here to watch the Celtic game and it seemed to be the place to ce as quite a few folk had the same idea. The atmosphere was excellent.

Mike Moulton (Miguel), owner, is an Irish ex-pat, and has owned this tiny but tidy business now for 27 years, with ZERO degradation in attention to detail and passion. What an island of sanity and reset!!! He saved me today...OMG...."honey, the museum is right there, you will SO enjoy it..." Talk about an island in a stormy sea....holy moley. Go there guys, send the wives shopping, thank me later.....one of the best memories I will take away from Bilbao...

I had a really good night in this establishment. It's a proper little boozer, with a genuine staff and an Irish owner who runs a decent business unlike the the false Commercial void around the corner.

Fantastic little bar. Michael the owner made us feel very welcome and put the footy on as well. Pity Liverpool won but it made Michael and Craig and Mark very happy- geordies Ron and Sheila - not so happy. However the better team won. Great atmosphere in the pub and an excellent pint of guinness . Thanx Michael. We will be back to see you im sure.

A great little pub. A wonderful and very helpful owner in Mike, who if he can't help with anything will find someone who can. A relaxed and enjoyable place to have a few beers
