Great place to have lunch. The service is good and fast. Took the 3 course menu, although the main course might look small, the whole menu is enough to get you full. I had steak for main course, my wife had the lamb, both very good. Total damage for 2 persons (including 5@4 glasses of wine): 76Eur

We had reserved a table here well in advance so that we could have lunch here right after the museum visit. In hindsight, we should not have done that and rather looked for a restaurant in the city area. The posh service was good. Also the modern ambience was very appealing and cozy. We chose the lunch menu for 29.50. The dishes were consistently tasteless, very small portions, no side dishes at all for the main courses. The fish tasted rancid and the bread dried out. In relation to the price a real disappointment.

Loved it. Please read my profanity free review below The menu wasn't cheap ( we had the $40 Euro option , where you essentially get 5 plates verses the standard 3 . Good option. We were stuffed ). Service was good at times but some of the servers seemed to be clashing and it was happening before our table. In thst process we got passed around a bit and they seemed to think we were invisible. Nonetheless, the final server was great. Go for the food and make a reservation. Place is busy for lunch and empties out completely by 230pm. Reservations will get you a better seat. They do take walking but will throw you in a poor section purposely.

We had an amazing 3 course lunch here, everything was perfect. We had fantastic service from Tanya, her attention and knowledge of the food and wine helped to make the experience so special.

I can't rate it 5 stars because I was unlucky to choose the Cod Balls, and the sauce was way too bitter. All other dishes chosen were fantastic and the deserts were amazing! Service was quite good, all at good price.

Super concept menu, starting with amuse bouche, lovely local vino, I chose the parfait salad and white tuna followed by ice cream and chocolate ganache with a lovely sweet orange wine. Don't leave the museum without a visit!

Located in Bilbao, this restaurant offers a delightful taste of local cuisine. The gazpacho I ordered was a real treat, bursting with fresh flavors. The waiters were friendly, and the overall experience was enjoyable. I highly recommend trying their delicious gazpacho for a taste of authentic Bilbao cuisine.

Guggenheim Bistro is on the 2nd floor of the museum; you’ll be able to enjoy fine basque dishes for lunch. Guests select each one from starters, main and dessert. Baguette and water are included. I ordered fish soup for starters, cod balls for main, and baked apple for dessert, adding a glass of homemade orange sweet liqueur (3€). The soup contained a lot of local seafood and was packed with flavour. Cod balls are served with fried cod skin and basque traditional sauce. Baked apple was a recommendation of a restaurant staff and rather nice with thyme ice cream. I highly suggest that you try a glass of orange liqueur with the dessert. I suppose 29.50€ is reasonable and satisfying to taste this lunch in the museum.

Great place for lunch if you’re visiting the Guggenheim. The service was outstanding and the food simply divine. The lamb main was a standout, and the local artisanal cider was super interesting. We were lucky to get a table beside the window with views of the river. Great for people-watching while we had lunch.

A fantastic restaurant at the museum. Impeccable service, lovely vibe and great food. A delicious 3 course meal for €28!

Quality considerably dropped from before the pandemics. Dishes and presentation is now average. Food quality and preparation also worsened. Smaller portions, veering towards the mass tourist. No longer recommended for quality : price ration.

The food was lovely, but there was not enough. I had the egg, mashed potato and red pepper juice for starter, superb. Then I had the pork rib in mustard seasoning for main. The main came with nothing else, literally just a small portion of rib. It was very tasty, just not enough, it could have come with a side dish. The cheesecake dessert was nice. The other problem is: you are in the Guggenheim, one of the best looking buildings in the world, but inside the bistro, you did not get that feeling. The deco was very bland, no real atmosphere. It should showcase some of the art available in the museum.

I was in this restaurant with my colleagues; we found a worm 🐛 in our meal! Morover; most of us didn't enjoy eating our appetizer and main dish! The dessert(baked apple) was okaish. Last but not least; the employees don't smile at all. You feel kind of unfriendly atmosfeer.

We loved this place! The service was excellent, fast, and friendly. The food was absolutely wonderful! Skip the bland museum and choose this flavorful restaurant instead. You won’t regret it.

The most amazing lunch before entering the museum. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, the food was incredible. Highly recommended.

Great quality menu for a very decent price. Due tha fact that they work with a menu the food was delivered very quickly. So if you want to plan this before or after a museum visit. We finished a 3 course meal in 1 hour.

Why go to Neura when the Bistro has everything you need? The set menu is simple yet satisfying. The anchovies really stood out even after visiting a vast swath of Basque Country.

A surprisingly good place to visit. We came here from our hotel as we were only in Bilbao for 48 hours and the museum was closed for one of the days. Resting in the sun, we found the food to be great and cheap compared to what we were used to at museums in the UK.

Great place to eat. Excellent friendly service and really good food. We had a great time having lunch here after a visit to the museum. And the kids loved their kid’s menu.

I am so far pretty disappointed with cuisine in spain so far. That does not apply to this place. Very tasty, great service. Awesome.

👍👍 We stumbled upon this place, which is odd, because my husband is such a foodie and usually knows about every hot place. After getting off the funicular, we wandered into we saw this beautiful spot. Inside, we started researching it on our phone and saw the rave reviews--including one from Anthony...
