One of the best restaurant in Bilbao of traditional food always with an excellent price quality. The waitresses are Angels. The beans are impressive "black gold" and geatting here is very easy, you just have to take the tram get off at the last stop. Generous dishes, good food. The place in Bilbao to hit the spot!

We had a warm welcome from the host. The neighborhood has a lot of bars but not such an authentic look like this restaurant. Ordered the menu arandia which we truly can recommend. We enjoyed the blood sausage a lot. The asparges were good as well. Could be more on chamber temperature to be more tasteful. The t-bone steak was amazing, you can arrange it to your own taste with a mini grill. If you’re going to Bilbao this place would be something to go to. Thank you.

Second time to Arandia and not disappointed. Took the 50 euro menu again comprising black pudding and mushrooms, home made foie gras, white asparagus stuffed with vegetables in mayonnaise, lovely plancha cooked shrimp and then finally, the star of the show, Txuleton beef - 1.5 kilos of sirloin served on the bone which had been seared in the kitchen, served blue, to be finished off at the table on a hot plate to your taste. This was served with crispy roast potatoes and red peppers. Finally, a desert similar to a creme brûlée. The lunch also included a bottle of wine, water and bread. Ridiculously good and very good value - we had to go back to the hotel for a lie down!

Had a 50 euro menu with starters (black pudding with mushrooms), home made foe gra, langustines, asparagus, and a T-bone steak that we grilled ourselves on a small casserole. Everything was delicious!

Great experience, very traditional spanish tavern! The portions are massive and the amount of wine included in the menu was also very generous. the chuleta we cooked ourselves to perfection and it was of amazing quality!

Just wow. Typical perfect comfort food in big portions. I really recommend the fish soup and beef cheek.

Located in an extremely old building, the setting is very impressive and you're transported to an old style taberna of Spain. Food is in huge quantities, like the seafood soup we had which was way too much for 2 people. The chuleton was great, and you can cook it to perfection yourself. The neighborhood is also good for if you want to grab a drink before or after as it's right in the Old Town

Incredible - one of the best meals I've ever had and the staff were really friendly. Great quality food and generous quantities - we went for lunch and were so full we didn't eat dinner at all!

EL ARANDIA IS A TYPICAL RESTAURANT. IN THE CHOICE OF FOOD DO NOT READ THE MENU BUT LISTEN TO THE LADY THAT WILL LIST ALL THE PECULIAR SPECIALTIES OF THE BASCA CUISINE. RECOMMENDED RESTAURANT

Very arrogant hostess/owner. If you don't speak Spanish you're going to have a hard time. Good food and some good wines on the menu.
