Simple and delicious! We tried the tasting menu and this was well worth the price, and a good way to try their best dishes. All the dishes were amazing but our favourites were the cod fritter which was so light it was like eating a cloud. And the prawns, which look so simple but were cooked to perfection! The texture and flavours made it a joy to eat. I could eat just plates and plates of just these 2 dishes. Also shout out to the fried hake which looks like a fried egg but was a bit like a lightly fried fish cake. It was sooo delicious!

A place to eat in Bilbao! A Michelin Gourmed for a long time. This guys have a super friendly attitude and some serious food that is made simple yet so so so tasty. Pork comes from Pyrenees and is on a top level! Starter taps dishes just amazing. Dessert something special. And everything in between is just superb. Also the value for the money is too good. Coming back, for sure!

Great local food with fantastic service. Prices are very reasonable and good serves. Several courses are available as tapas or slightly larger serves.

Very creative food in a wonderful setting. Incredible service and wine list as well. It will challenge your expectations so keep an open mind. The sandwich and deviled egg are great starters. The mushroom tempura is quite good as are the scallops. I would avoid the duck and corn as the way it is prepared does not render the fat which to many will be off putting.

Beautiful tiled dining room. Staff who care about the food and the business. We had beetroot carpaccio, decod croquettes, grilled prawn (AMAZING) and pork ribs. Would recommend all. With two glasses of wine and a coffee came to €70.

We went for the chef's menu and tried several starters and mains. I loved the asparagus with mushroom and oxtail. The rest was also okay apart from the artichoke and lobster bisque soup. Soup should have been lighter and artichoke should have been free from burned edges.

Good food, unpretentious but well executed (4 stars). Differentiator was the five star service. Attentive hard working staff and brilliant local wine suggestion based on my request, at a price almost the same as what I’d pay retail back home. Would definitely come back.

Los Fueros is a culinary highlight I'll remember for years to come. It's amazing how they can make ingredients sing without the need for fanfare or dressing it up to the nines. Do yourself a favour and order the set menu (the most bang for your buck). It is sensational. It's almost Michelin quality, with none of the pressure associated with that (price) so you can fully enjoy the food. If you don't want the set menu the top two dishes are the hake and the French toast dessert. For extra enjoyment get the secret table on the balcony (if you can)

I was conflicted because some reviews said their food was underwhelming, but decided to try their €65 tasting menu in the end. By the way you need to reserve the tasting menu ahead of time. I’d say the food was rather bland. Maybe it could be excellent for someone with a lighter taste because the texture of the food was perfect. At any other time I would have given it 4 stars because of the great service and presentation of the food. But right after trying out Pintxos in San Sebastián, it was a 3 star experience for me. I wish I’d gone for more Pintxos in Gure Toki instead. It was a close contender.

After being on the road around northern Spain for two weeks I must admit I was beginning to feel a bit bored when going to eat something but always see the same tapas, raciones and plato’s combinados. Arriving in Bilbao we hit he old town and got drawn into this little eatery. And what a relief it was to sit in that cool little room and read a menu where one of the items was called “The ugly tomato from Tudela” & and another “Kill the cheese cake”. Of corse we ordered these ones. Other dishes sounded a bit like the well known classic tapas, however, here they had their own little tale on things and at the end we ended up being somehow provoked by the different interpretations but completely convinced by the taste. Therefore this little restaurant gets all the dots I can give. It was excellent and the ugly tomato maybe ugly, but so was the ugly duckling. Thank you guys.

You cannot miss it if you’re in Bilbao. Delicious food at a very reasonable price. We had the menu and enjoyed every dish. The wine list is not extensive but has some good choices. Relaxed and casual ambiance with friendly staff.

Wonderful restaurant in Casco Viejo. We've eaten here several times and they never disappoint. Menu choice is excellent and all prepared to a high level. Wine selection is amazing. Service and attention to detail is great too. Thoroughly recommend the Bloody Mary with Gambas. The beetroot (Remolacha) Carpaccio was devine. A very popular restaurant so making a reservation would be a better option. We'll be back.

Really enjoyed this restaurant, its small but perfectly formed. The staff were lovely and suggested 2 tapas each and a main course. When we chose he suggested we split the dishes so we got to share everything, great idea and made the meal. Booked it for my birthday and it was just the right balance of fine dining and shabby chic.

Great food, great service. Everything tasted amazing and was served in a timely manner. I was surprised that the some of the Piparra fried peppers were actually spicy, great for spicy lovers. Shrimps were beautifully cooked and delicious. Pork chuleta was also great. Definitely recommend kill the cheesecake for dessert.

The tasting menu w delish w simple clean flavors not on the cholesterol butter rich side but still full of flavor. Three of the dishes were perfect & the best i’ve had in their areas…artichoke, anchovy & pork rib. A strong recommend & excellent value!

Neither the dishes nor the price of the menu were in the absurd category. Ty pical of the kind where you know very well the basic ingredients but the final outcome is something different, unexpected and tasty. Enjoyed food, wine and service.

Overall good experience BUT ups and downs. The sommelier was friendly and offered fine wines. He offered to change the first local wine if we didn't like it (that was the case). The next two wines were awesome. Some meals were awesome, others average. Shrimps and tripes were delicious. The service except the sommelier is, as often in Spain, very distant. It's sometimes useful to get information about the different dishes. A good address but some defaults could be easily fixed to get an unforgettable experience.

Recommendable restaurant. Right amount of tourist-y, friendly English speaking staff. Amazing food. I recommend the tasting menu, very traditional (with some local classics) good wine list.

We had a very good experience at Los Fueros. When we arrived there wasn't a table ready immediately despite making a reservation. However, we were seated somewhere to wait and given drinks and appetizers on the house. Super friendly staff! The main dish was very tasty. We both liked that it was a modest, simple but very well prepared meal that left just enough room for desert. Overall a very cosy little restaurant, feeling more luxurious than the prices on the menu would suggest. If I ever go back to Bilbao, I'll definitely return here.

This is a brilliant little place! Beautiful and cosy inside, each floor a different feel. We had the delicious tasting menu - each course a delight. Gazpacho, cod fritters, pork rib, pancake to name a few. Those descriptions don't do them justice at all though - fresh, simple, flavourful, and beautifully presented. We had a brilliant friendly waiter who explained each course, and all the other staff said hello too. They gave us a glass of wine for free too, no idea why but a lovely gesture! Very reasonably priced.

👍👍 We stumbled upon this place, which is odd, because my husband is such a foodie and usually knows about every hot place. After getting off the funicular, we wandered into we saw this beautiful spot. Inside, we started researching it on our phone and saw the rave reviews--including one from Anthony...
