A great place with a lively local atmosphere, delicious food in the morning, lunch and dinner....we also sat there for coffee and breakfast but this time in the evening it was more worthwhile, good music, lots of people and very tasty food! recommend

Good small local food place. I went for the lunch and had one of the best fish soups. The place also serves pinchos, small sandwiches, and couple of other local dishes. Pleasant service, clean a welcoming.

A solid restaurant serving up regional cuisine without any fuss. The octopus was charred perfectly, the goat chops were fried up but still tender and delicious. Service was a bit hectic (2 men constantly moving around for the whole space) but friendly.

Excellent, great food and atmosphere. We had the piementos de padron, octopus & mussels. Also we had some pinxtos .. a really good place to go!

Excellent Restaurant and Pintxo bar in the heart of Bilbao, Near the football Stadium Sanmames. Great Food and Service, crafting food dishes with the best ingredients sourced in origin from the best. Their Flag dish Octopus, (Olagarro) and their Seafood, is second to none, strait from the Atlantic waters of the Coast of Death in Galicia, Northwest Spain, well known for the quality of its seafood. Certainly, a place to visit.

Awesome place, great and pleasant service, good prices, fresh seafood and pintxos.

Friendly, funny and patient waiter who gave us great recommendations. We had a mussel salad, padron peppers and “pescado de roca”. All the food was incredibly fresh and a perfect combination of local ingredients and preparations. We were amazed by how flavourful everything was and our waiter recommended a perfect wine to pair with the food. We finished off with a slice of “tarta de santiago” which was light, fluffy and unlike anything we’d ever had before. Can’t recommend enough!

Chanced upon this restaurant at 10:30pm. Great, authentic local food👍👍👍😋😋😋 Ordered fish soup and grilled octopus with light aioli sauce. It’s called fish soup but full of prawns, clams & mussels too. Very big portion, more than enough for 2 pax to eat. Waiter was polite & helpful.

Went there on Saturday night, typical local tapas bar, friendly, good food. Not touristy at all.

The service was great, friendly, quick and efficient. I personally like the choices you have for Japanese imported beers. For the Japanese person living in us, it is a great place to have a drink!

The food was very tasty. I used to go there for coffee in the morning. Was really good coffee at a good price €1 which included a croissant. As for the restaurant it has excellent quality meats. Even found sweetbread on there. The seats could be a bit more comfortable.

Great food, friendly staff. English menu was a bonus

This is a Galician bar with its own take on pintxos and food. I loved the boiled octopus with aioli. Jorge, who was in charge one night, was very friendly and communicative. It helps to speak Spanish with the staff. Seating may be limited depending on the time of day, but I found a place at the bar both nights I visited this place. This is opposed to other bars where people stand outside because there is simply no more room inside.

Olagarro is an amazing restaurant. The food is very tasty and the portions are great. Service is top with a chill atmosphere. We tried the pulpo Feria, chulletos ,fish soup and shell fish, they are all amazing 👏. For dessert I really recommend the crepe, it is top.

From all the restaurants I have visited in Bilbao Olagarro is the best. Everything from food was amazing and unique. Very nice and friendly stuff. I would definitely recommend. I will for sure visit it again.
