🫤 Unfriendly service, small portions for the Bilbao A la carte standard. The restaurant seems from outside as rather a high scale restaurant. But the quality is mediocre. On the picture Main Dish portion - 1 octopus leg with 1 baked potato and 1 baked tomato. I believe it costed about 12€. For a city...

Good value, my partner said it was the best steak she’d had for years. The waiter was very attentive and we would certainly go back if in Bilbao again.

We ate a late supper on a Friday night. Our meal had both highs and medium lows. Portions of authentic Basque dishes were of a good size, prepared nicely. Service was very nearly over attentive.

We had a delicious meal here. We both enjoyed the cheese starter (it was a selection of Spanish cheeses, but beware that it's a lot for two people!) and our mains (pork medallions and a steak, the latter of which arrived with some sizzling dramatics, but was cooked spot on). The staff were great, really friendly and the service was good - and the food arrived quickly. I wish that I'd had room for dessert!

A nice small restaurant In old town Bilbao. Very attentive and pleasant staff. We chose paella. It tasted fresh and juicy, but could have been more spicy. This dish for two people was plenty enough, had no spare place for a desert. Good wine and coffee though😊

The dinner was terrible. The avocado was sour, the souse of the hake was not eatable and the white wine was the worst we had in Bilbao. The reaction on the criticism was neglection and avoidance of contact. Price quality far below average.

Black rice was very delicious! Pulpo also was good. The best part was the waitress! She gave us very good service

This is a first class restaurant serving well prepared and presented food , ex service and outstanding value for money. We were served by Bibi who went out of her way to explain the menu in fluent English . There was no problem omitting or adding ingredients and the steak was perfectly cooked.Bibi is an excellent and efficient waitress who puts the customer first and the place was packed for the lunch special. Great food and wine in a friendly yet efficient environment ! Well done !

👍👍 We stumbled upon this place, which is odd, because my husband is such a foodie and usually knows about every hot place. After getting off the funicular, we wandered into we saw this beautiful spot. Inside, we started researching it on our phone and saw the rave reviews--including one from Anthony...
