Bacaicoa taberna

👍👍 Great little bar tucked away but well worth seeking out. The setas al purgatorio were garlicky and delicious and the chorizo al inferno were lovely and smokey. They also seem to do their own wine Señorío de Bacaicoa which was very good. Overall a very high standard of pintxos. People often mention chorizo, great, good, pintxos, Great,

Popped inside as the warm weather started to fade and the wind began to blow. Sat inside as glasses blew off the outside tables. Locals do not seem bothered. Older locals crowd...more grey hairs than on a Lipizzaner horse..so I blend in well. Traditional town bar with pintxos on the counter. Paulicarus asked for the firey chorizo. All good value.

(Translated by Google) The best txistorra in the old town! How good it is .... Roasted and spicy! They have a delicious mushroom too! They have very good own wine. (Translated by Google) Spectacular! We entered by chance and tried the combo of mushrooms, boletus, croquettes and chorizo, and everything was incredible. Today we have returned to repeat as we were delighted. The treatment has also been super friendly. Highly recommended place. (Original) Espectacular! Stopped in for some beers and pinks and we were very happy. This is a great example of an old-town pinxtos stop and feels like a slice of the city. Strongly recommend when you're in town.

Great traditional pintxos bar. The chorizo Al inferno is cooked on the actual bar. The croquetas are amazing. The service very friendly. They even have their own red wine. It can be easily reached from the Unamuno metro exit in el casco Viejo. Great place to start the pintxos route. Highly recommendable place

I loved this place, the service was great and had a fair selection of pintxos. The sangria was great and a nice setting overlooking the square.

Great ingredients and mushroom specialist!!! We tried several pinchos places on Plaza Nueva before getting to Bacaicoa and it simply stands out. There are not as many choices but each of the pinchos are very well made. Highly recommended to tried all their mushroom specialties, they are just amazing. Also, the chorizo del infierno is one of the best chorizo I have ever eaten!

The example that things don't need to be complex to be great. The setas pintxo will stay in my mind for a long time even though we came for the chorizo which was great as well. The staff is super nice and the red house wine is delicious!

Good location and great quality of the good. The food is local pinchos. Mushrooms, croquetas and chorizo are the specialities of the bar. Nice service and good drinks. You can really feel that you are in a non touristic place. Price not too bad. It could be more cheap but with 10 euros you can eat and drink. Awesome!
