We ate Paella and ‘Rabo de Toro’. Both were very good but the later was exceptional even if the potatos were on the salty side. Service was friendly and attentive. The Tiramisu was light, not too sweet as we like it

I do believe that the food here can be good but perhaps we ordered the wrong things. From our neighbors, they ordered some smoking steak sizzling on a hot plate that just filled the restaurant with its aroma. We ordered some beef thinking we would get it but to our disappointment, the beef just didn’t hit the mark. It was chewy and didn’t have the natural oils flowing out of it. The black pepper gravy was very average, neither good nor bad. Ambience is nice and the staff are super friendly. An extra star for that. Yes, if it were not for a star, I’d rate the food with only 2 stars.

Would have been superb if the plates had been warm -food went cold 3/4of the way through! Disgrace for a restaraunt !

Exactly what we wanted. In an area that is full of Tapas & Pinxtos we really fancied something that was really a bit more traditional & plain. I had steak & chips & it hit the spot perfectly. The waiter was so incredibly polite & attentive & the restaurant was beautifully presented & clean. Lovely xxx

In Bilbao old city. Fine food but however, limited quantity (only 3 prawns on the pasta plate). What the feeling of got in a tourist trap. Nice and kind service.

Had a superb menu del dia. Seafood paella, confit duck with blueberry sauce and a delicious pod. Eighteen euros including bottle of Rioja for two. Highly recommended

The food was terrible. I was only able to eat the salad and it wasn't that great. I ordered entrecot and and it was rubbery as hell. I took one bite and didn't dare eat anymore. I didn't even ask to exchange it for something else because I didn't feel like dealing with the waiters any more and I didn't trust the cook. The service is about what you can usually expect from the Basque Country and my father is Basque. They usually are very curt and "too busy to be polite". The person I went with said hello to the waitress and the waitress didn't even respond. Etiquette is sadly disappearing all around world but when you are paying for something you expect basic courtesy and this place lacked even that. I didn't return the food to exchange it for something else because I hate doing that and because the service killed any desire to do that. I wouldn't recommend that restaurant to anyone. As you can see from the reviews it isn't held in high regard very often. Avoid this place at all cost.

Delicious authentic spanosh food. I had Gambas al ajilo 25 years ago and Gorbea had them and a super delicious Paella as well. Next time in Bilbao we will definately be back for more exxlusive food. Great cook and super noce waiter!

Ate there 3 times. Beautiful steak and lovely friendly staff. Will def recommend. I wiil be back on my next visit

Very nice place, stylish inside and really good food for a decent price. Had the chipirones in ink Sauce and the chocolate Soufflé and I am more than happy! Service was also top, definitely worth a visit.

A lovely, fresh seafood meal with kind and attentive service. The pricing was quite affordable for the quality of food.
