The baroque church from the 18th century was designed by the famous architect Azpeitia Ignacio Ibero. Its interiors hide many valuable religious monuments, such as decorative Rococo altars.

Interesting church with an octagonal ceiling that is located next to the river in the old town part of Bilbao. You can go in and visit this church without payment and enjoy its alter piece and carvings.

The church of San Nicolás located in the city of Bilbao is a baroque Catholic temple inaugurated in 1756. It is located in the Casco Viejo (old town) in Bilbao. It's specifically in the Plaza de San Nicolás and its façade faces the Arriaga theater. The love of God & the church is shown in the workmanship of the structure and works of art inside.

Beautiful it's hard not to stop at a cathedral when you visit European cities. To see that these places are still active places of worship is even more exciting because I feel like in America something like this would be torn down to build something more modern.

Very quiet and solemn place for praying. The church is beautiful. Public (tourists and parishioners) can get in for free.

It doesn't look like much outside, but inside everything is the opposite. I found it interesting how they dressed Maria.

Definitely worth popping into, very beautiful church that is striking compared to many other European churches. Definitely recommend having your phone on hand for translations as there is only information in Spanish and Basque.

👍👍 The Artxanda Viewpoint is a somewhat hidden gem in Bilbao that offers spectacular views of the city and its surrounding area. On a sunny day, it won't disappoint and is worth the trip! I would highly recommend checking it out. Enjoy yourself!! :)
