The Artxanda Viewpoint is a somewhat hidden gem in Bilbao that offers spectacular views of the city and its surrounding area. On a sunny day, it won't disappoint and is worth the trip! I would highly recommend checking it out. Enjoy yourself!! :)

You get a great view of the city and its surroundings. I can imagine that the view of the sunset can be superb from here.

Stunning views of Bilbao, beautifully maintained gardens and outdoor space. Plenty of parking available, and you can take the funicular back down into the city! Best to come up when the weather is clear.

This is must do if you’re travelling to Bilbao. The view from the top with a small backdrop of Cantrabrian mountain. The entire southern region that ranges between 10-15 km is visible from here. The place is accessible via a funicular rail. Price is 4.50 Euro for a roundtrip. I recommend to visit the top during sun set.

Spectacular view of Bilbao from the hilltop. to reach the top of the hill, take the ARTXANDA´S FUNICULAR - Trains depart every quarter of an hour. The access station (Plaza del Funicular, s/n) is a 10-minute walk from the City Hall.

Great little trip and cheap too. Would highly recommend a trip as cheap and the best views of Bilbao and the mountains and greenery that surround it.

Not to be missed when visiting Bilbao but make sure it's a clear day for panoramic views over the city. Waiting for the furnicular could be painful as it's not really organized and at times very busy. Plenty of places to sit and relax once at the top, plus a restaurant offering a nice menu and drinks

You have an amazing view over the city. It is definitely worth it going up there. With the Barik-card you pay only around 0,40€ one way, in general the public transport is really cheap with it. You can buy it in every Metro-station!

Is a very nice place above the city of Bilbao with great view . To get there you can take the teleferic with a ticket of 8 euros for 2 persons on 2 round trip. I suggest it for the great view

We got a Barik card which drastically reduced the cost of the funicular. There wasn’t much of a wait on a weekday. Great views from the top! It’s also a park to sit and relax from a long day of touring the town.

A must do when in Bilbao. Take the funicular to get up, a one-of-a-kind experience. Spectacular views over the city, the mountains and the see! A great spot to take photos or just enjoy the sunny day (like we did). Getting tickets super easy with the machines.

A wide angle of Bilbao. The city can be easily appreciated and the Valley in which it lays is full of green. Perfect for picture taking and social media. The Guggenheim museum, the Nervión river, San Mamés and much more can be easily seen from up top. A joyful ride all the way up to the Artxanda viewport. A lot of green not only in the view, but all the way through. There was no problem getting there, no problem in parking. Don't worry if it is raining, because the weather is very temperamental and can change suddenly. The viewport's park is very clean and well maintained. The Artxanda viewport is s must see... You haven't gone to Bilbao if you haven't seen it from up top.

Nice public space with views over Bilbao. Unfortunately it was a little overcast when I was there. Its accessible via the funicular railway which is a fun way to arrive!

The view of Bilbao was a site to see. We were fortunate to get a panaromic view of the town and it is indescribable. Everyone should get this opportunity it's one in a lifetime.

Great views over Bilbao. Definitely worth the ride up on the Funicular.

One of my highlights during my Bilbao trip. The view of the city and the mountains was incredible and you understand why Bilbao is sometimes referred to as the hole being sorroundes by mountains.

Beautiful spacious observation deck-you can see the entire city from above. Also a nice place to walk and relax since there is a small park-like area.

A must in Bilbao. Wonderful sight. Recommended even —or specially— if you're going by car, as there's plenty of space.

Great overall view of Bilbo. Traveling up the hill on a funicular was a novel way to travel fun.

Nice view from the viewpoint. The rest of the hill has seen better days.

Comfortable ride up and great views from the top, incredibly hot day and there was a nice breeze

A must when visiting Bilboa. You get a full view of the whole city. It's reachable by the Funicular Railway which is super cheap. It's a shame there isn't more in the way of a café & proper toilets at the top as I am sure people would stay much longer if there was.

Amazing view over the city. It's around 5 euros to go up and down with the funicular. You can also walk but it's more than 30 min in one direction and can be very tilted.

A magnificent view over Bilbao, where you can see all the key points of the city. Climbing up there via the funicular is recommended.

Great view out over Bilbao. Worth the trip up. We visited in January and it was quiet and peaceful at the top. Lots of places to sit.

Fabulous views of the city the carriage was decorated ready for the Tour de France a nice touch we thought. There are walks you can do from the top to other local history and not that far from the top. We took our dog (perro) up with us please note they are only allowed in the front carriage look for the sticker on the carriage window informing you.

One of the must go places to visit in Bilbao. You can have a glimpse of the whole city and enjoy the birds eye view from this hill. There is an inclined train which takes you to the hill top. The journey itself is an experience. Tickets fare 4.5 for a round trip for a person. The station is close to Zubizuri bridge.
