“Parking
is
available
but
reservation
is
not
possible”.
Upon
arrival,
parking
is
complete
and
am
asked
if
I
have
a
reservation.
Another
guest
clarifies
that
he
was
allowed
to
do
a
reservation.
Hotel
person
sent
me
around
the
block
to
find
another
parking,
unclear
destination.
10
phone
calls
were
necessary
for
them
to
pick
up
the
phone.
Haven’t
even
checked
in.
As
it
became
apparent
in
the
following
day,
this
car
parking
thing
is
a
recurring
problem
as
there
was
similar
chaos
and
cars
queuing,
and
puzzled
guests
talking
about
“reservations”.
I
have
checked
in.
The
room
is
a
twin,
not
a
double.
We
have
a
baby
child
that
sleeps
with
us,
which
they
knew
about
because
they
ask
for
the
infant’s
age.
They
also
know
that
their
own
hotel
policy
states
no
baby
cribs/cots.
I
suppose
the
baby
sleeps
in
the
hole
in
between.
There
is
also
no
water
kettle.
Truly,
having
a
kettle
was
one
of
our
criteria
as
not
every
hotel
has
it
and…
see
baby
above
and
figure
out
why
a
kettle
is
relevant.
Oh
and
the
room
wasn’t
ready
even
though
it
was
almost.
Although
the
booking
clearly
states
superior
double
room,
the
hotel
staff
argues
that
is
but
a
preference,
presumably
for
the
hotel
not
the
guest.
Anyway,
there
is
no
true
argument
about
twin
when
it
is
not
mentioned
in
the
booking.
So…
although
they
were
adamantly
defending
that
it
was
a
twin
room,
someone,
somewhere,
later
saw
the
light,
rang
the
phone
and
offered
us
what
we
booked.
Make
no
mistake,
their
first
instinct
was
to
not
offer
us
what
we
booked.
This
is
no
staff
decision,
rather
a
business/management
practice.
Still
on
the
first
room,
a
hour
after
being
in
the
room,
the
cleaning
staff
comes
burgeoning
in
with
a
spray
in
their
hand,
apologizes,
and
retreats.
What
did
they
forget
to
clean
is
the
question.
Some
positives:
The
staff
is
otherwise
nice.
Breakfast
food
is
great
and
the
rooms
are
comfortable.
