Located in a very convenient and central position, it is practically within 20 minutes walk from all major points of attraction. The staff is super helpful and you can trust them with recommendations and directions. Breakfast choices are very good if you choose to pay for it. The rooms are bit outdated and don't have fridge nor lockbox. The hotel does not have gym

Great location. Easy walk 15 minutes to old town. Good strong shower in bathroom. Bed very comfortable. Lack of electric sockets only problem.

In between the old town and the Guggenheim Museum. Supermarkets nearby. The smell of bleach was very strong upon entering the room.

Very clean, spacious room. Well situated to reach places of interest. Fairly good breakfast. Helpful staff. Unfortunately the noise levels from outside during the night were ridiculously high. I didn't hear other guests but there were people shouting on the street below even at 4 or 5 in the morning. The windows dont keep out the noise .The hotel is on a junction and the traffic noise is also loud. With earplugs I was ok the first night but struggled to sleep the last night. Therefore, regrettably I wouldn't stay there again.

I don't understand why this hotel is rated with only 1 star. It deserves more in my opinion. We stayed here for 2 nights during our stay in Bilbao. The employees were friendly and spoke good English. The room was simple but very clean. We only missed a toiletbrush to clean the toilet. The beds were good aswell and had soft matrasses and cussions. The breakfast was very nice aswell, during our stay the coffee machine was out of service but they arranged a different means to serve coffee that pleased us too. Enough choice for different breads and sweets for breakfast and a nice choice for tea. If you are visiting Bilbao to walk around and for tourism this hotel is perfect for you. 👍 (p.s. there was a bar aswell but we didn't make use of it)

Clean rooms, excellent service and very friendly and helpful staff. Gluten Free alternative at breakfast provided. Affordable underground parking (9€ a day). 20min walk from city center. All in all a great hotel to stay and to venture out and discover the city.

Room very good, though needs a second chair for two people. Had an extra single bed, would be better with a table. Breakfast very good but need a better croissant supplier! Staff great, helpful, happy to stay again and would recommend to anyone.

Staff were very friendly & extremely helpful with any questions we had. The room was spacious & had everything we needed. My only issue was the pillows were too soft.

Helpful staff, they were fine about me having my bike in my room (I was cycle touring) and the location is good for seeing Bilbao. There are bars as well as a supermarket nearby so good location without being right by the big tourist attractions.

The room that we got is big, and the restaurant are numerous options just in front of the hotel, also the supermarket is round the corner, we love to get breakfast just next to Carefour, it’s local and cheap and very good. The only thing is the lift are so slow.. other than that is a nice hotel to stay and memorable

Hotel was in a quiet area of Bilbao very close to the old city center, just 10 minutes by walking! Our room was big and comfortable and breakfast was super fantastic! For the price we pay was excellent choice!

We are staying here as I am an Accor member and I find all their hotels well placed and reasonably priced. This one is no exception. David at check-in looked after us and did a fantastic job, walked us through the best places to go and how to get around. The hotel is close to transport and local attractions, especially the food. The rooms are very clean and the staff are all excellent.

The rooms are quite outdated and the smell confirms this impression. Also, the mattress and pillows are beyond their recommended lifespan. It felt more like staying at an ibis budget rather than ibis. Receptionists are great and the location is very convenient. Please note that you need to reserve your parking in advance. If the parking is full, you can park for €22/day down the road. All in all, for €100 a night I would have expected a bit more quality.

Very good location. About 15 minutes walking to the train station and bus terminal. Close th the center and 15 minutes walk to Bilbao Guggenheim. Ibis is standard as rooms and breakfast. Very nice people at the reception.

Hi enjoyed my stay at ibis Bilbao Centro. The hotel was conveniently located and I enjoyed many walks from the hotel, along the river to the Guggenheim and all around the city. The hotel is also within walking distance from Bilbao Abando train station which made it very easy to get to my train to commute to Madrid.

I recommend it. The rooms were super nice and with everything necessary, including AC for those almost tropical heat days. The breakfast had pretty much everything, from ham to cereal to fruit! Very convenient pricing and located right at the middle of the city.

Good value hotel located about 15 minutes walk from the river. Lots of shops and eating options close by. Staff are very friendly. The breakfast is overpriced.

Lovely hotel, spotlessly clean with very pleasant and helpful staff. Good continental breakfast with a large variety, although, I do miss a hot breakfast option !! Lots of nice bars and restaurants very close by, only a short walk to the centre .

First person to answer the phone was extremely pleasant to deal with. Second person at reception needs retraining. We know that Basques (as well as Catalans) are fed up with tourists and believe they don't need them for their economy, but please train your staff not to make assumptions about people and learn to be courteous and professional with them even if they're working for a one star hotel. I don't want to hear any excuses about, oh it's the "culture." You're dealing with international clientile who at times aren't the most sophisticated people in the world, but a little patience goes a long way, and a job is a job. END.

Great place to stay, rooms nice and is reasonably charged, evening meal good and also breakfast, Nadia at the reception was extremely helpful and also very busy ensuring all common places were clean good WiFi also at no extra charge

Comfortable rooms, good air con, good bathrooms. However no tea or coffee facilities or fridge in room. Good breakfast, buffet style but no hot breakfast option. Good location. We were advised our room would be cleaned however no one came, had to get fresh towels from reception after 2 days.

Nice clean hotel with friendly staff. Don't know what the star rating is for this hotel, but it gets 5 stars in my book. I didn't actually stay in the hotel, but spent a lot of time there when my friends stayed at the hotel.
