Enjoyed the style and decor, nice size room and bathroom. However shower leaked badly onto the floor, the air conditioning was not central so it didn't heat up the whole room, and it was a bit noisy. When we complained we received lovely cakes - a nice touch! All I'm all, very central and really recommended.

Great location, right in the heart of the old town. Noisy outside at night, but the double glazing did a good job and we got a good nights sleep. The interior deoration is superb. We had 3 rooms between us and they were all brilliantly different. We needed taxis to the airport on our departure and reception were extremely helpful in arranging them.

Right in the middle of the old town. Very helpful staff. Individually themed rooms. Tea and coffee making facilities, even costumes for photos! When I return to Bilbao, I will stay here. Noisy in the street in the evening but the bed was so comfy I had no trouble sleeping.

Great stay! Awesome staff, comfortable room, great location. It is very noisy but if you’re staying there you should be out partying. Not sleeping:)

Summary: Hotel location is excellent, Our room is a very nice room and pretty funky. See attached photos. Staff were very efficiant, friendly and very helpful. Negative (slight) - The design of the bathroom sliding door doesnt close fully. Would be nice if it shut fully as it helps to soundproof toilet sound ;-p We love it and will come back as location, room, staff and cost are excellent. Bilbao is a lovely place, I actually like it more than San Sebastian.

LOUD. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom, convenient location. But make no mistake, unless you want to party with everyone else below your window then you may want to find somewhere else in the historic district.

Very loud outside the hotel as it's full of bars and restaurants. Ear plugs provided on site to help sleep. Overall great value of hotel, amazing location in the old city. Very comfy bed and good size bathroom with good pressured shower and nice hot water! Recommended!

Nice Pension with very lovely rooms in a very loud party area. We had a good sleep with soundproof windows, ear plugs and AC. The staff could have a little bit more passion to their guests.

Judging based on paid price of 100€/night: Overall: not recommended, wouldn’t stay again due to its lack of comfort (outside noise levels and living in shared apartment feeling). Very central location, but Bilbao is small and easy to walk around. No need to stay in the hot spot. Friendly personell, but not attentive. Friendly hello, but no offer of advice, question whether we need anything. No interest at check out to ask about our experience. Value: Too expensive for what it is, but compared to overall Bilbao hotel prices, it seems competitive. Details: Comfort: the room is very small, but a very nice design. The bed is ok (long sleep gave us back pain though), the pillows aren’t very comfortable, neither are they bad. But the issue was noise. A) we felt like in an Airbnb in a shared space, being close to the reception. We really had the feeling to be in a bedroom in our parents home. The noise of people right in the front of the door wasn’t comfortable. B) the outside noise!!! If you go out at night, you’ll have noise early in the morning. If you go early to bed, you have noise in the evening. The location is very central, but due to the narrow streets and the lively neighbourhood, you have to be a very good sleeper to cope with it. And it was during the week, early May. I can imagine the noise during a summer weekend. The windows don’t do anything and I had to check several times whether the window is closed. There are much better quality windows which really insulated the noise, unfortunately this investment has not been done in this hotel. (2-3 stars) Cleanliness: first day room and bathroom in general was clean. Unfortunately the shower towels were dirty and when we realised late afternoon, nobody could be reached to get change. Also was the bathroom floor not cleaned on a daily basis. (3-4 stars) Amenities: very nice to get a new bottle of water every day. Also one is equipped with nespresso coffee that is being replenished. Tea is also available plentiful. There are the basics for what you need in the bathroom. I would prefer a conditioner and body lotion than to have a hair straightener. (4-5 stars)

The room itself is very nice, nice beds as well as bathrooms, great location in the middle of the old city center. That is the positive... The negative: No reception, this means if you have an issue, you get no help. I sent a message to the phone they provide for help regarding TV issues and got 0 response, so don´t expect help if you stay there. The noise, let me be clearer THE NOISE!!! from the street is unbelievable, I went o close the windows, as I though they were open, but no. We had to wait for the local bars to close (2-3 a.m.), in order to sleep. This is certainly NOT something new, as they prove ear plugs (that help 0 with the given noise level). So if you're looking to go out carousing till 3 a.m. and then get woken up by the city street cleaners at 6 a.m., then this is your hotel. If you want a decent night´s sleep, look elsewhere. And it´s a pity, cause if they just spend a bit of money putting decent isolation, then the room would be a solid 8 (remember, no reception).

Don’t go there if you want to sleep at night. It’s on a really noisy street, next to one of the most crowded bars in the city, and the walls are so thin it’s impossible to sleep.

Such a cool place to stay! Really loved it. The decoration is brilliant with bare brick walls and visible old beams. You have all you need in the room and there is coffee and tea available in the cosy communal area. The building is very central with lots of cool bars around.

Lovely room, very helpful staff. Great stay. We had no problems with noise at all (was Tuesday and Wednesday night). Be aware that there is no lift and rooms are on second floor.

This is defiantly not an hotel but a floor in a local building with ten rooms. The rooms are nice and modern and beds and showers are super comfortable. However, the building is under construction and they didn’t tell you in advance. It means you can’t open the windows and the noise start at 08:00 thereout the day. There is tiny public area and super nice receptionist that is there only for 3 hours in the afternoon. I got locked out of the room as the card didn’t open the door, called the emergency number was left on the front door and surprised to hear the phone ringing in the cabinet next to me. I opened the cabinet and find many card keys, took one and opened the door. This means everyone can do the same and open your room. Not safe at all
