I came in the off season, so maybe my experience in tainted; however, I found the atmosphere uninviting. the beds were uncomfotable, street loud, and people staying there were a strange lot. It's not the worst. But if you're looking for something a little more comfortable and maybe to meet people and make friends, then this is not the place for you. If you don't care, and you want just a cheap place to stay. Somewhere that is the bare minimum, then this is it - look no further.

I don’t like to leave bad reviews, but I had a horrible experience here. The staff were extremely rude and I felt very unwelcome and disrespected. One of my friends got yelled at for walking in and out of the hostel a few times in the evening, even though she did so without saying a word and was just checking another friend’s safety. The next night worker watched us eat outside for about a half an hour before she told us that we couldn’t eat or drink out there. In the morning they got upset that we went back into the bathroom of the room and “made a mess” when they had “already cleaned it,” but they had not yet cleaned it at all. Before we even checked out a male staff member came into our all-girls room and started folding up our bedding. I would recommend looking for different accommodations.

We stayed in this hostel with my study abroad program and it was so disappointing. We were really excited to see bilbao but felt unwelcome and disrespected the entire weekend by the hostel workers. They would talk badly about our group right in front of us and then yell at us wherever we were. We weren’t allowed to eat anywhere as we got yelled at inside and outside. It seems like a place not for vacation, but for older people traveling alone. I would not recommend if you are younger and looking to explore, ESPECIALLY if you are a girl. One of the male workers stared at us for ages while my group of girls was getting packed in our hostel, and got upset when we tried to close the door and get changed. He then came inside of our room and started folding the sheets? Literally while some of my girls were getting changed/ready in the bathroom. Was so gross and was such a scary invasion of privacy. Would never recommend due to the disrespect, but the last straw was the creepy male worker, please take your business elsewhere!!!

The installations and the room itself were satisfying and clean, and the staff was helpful. However, the lockers in the rooms were not safe, nor were the locks sold by the hostel in the reception. Also, the hot water in the showers did not last — we were 5 people and 3 had to shower cold in the morning. It was fine for one night but I wouldn't book it again unless the lockers in the rooms are replaced.

booked three nights, have only stayed one so far but i think i may have to waste some money for my own good. woke up with bedbug bites, black mold all over the bathroom to the point you can smell it(if you know anything about black mold, that’s a really bad sign), the sheets seem to only be steamed, rubber beds so super loud, you must put the sheets and stuff on yourself(that’s not too bad, but everything is sticky in a way where you can tell it’s not the humidity), loud street, bad neighborhood, all guests are older people, and the lockers don’t actually lock

It should be 0! I arrived just before 9 and the door was locked. A guest let me in, reception was closed. There was a sign saying 9-9 but no one was there. Called and emailed many times then I just started knocking on rooms looking for an empty bed because the interior door was open. 45 minutes later I found the guy working there by banging on all the bedroom doors and I got checked in. Rubber pillow and mattress with sheets you put on yourself. They’ve never been washed, thankfully I travel with a sleeping bag. The room was super dirty and the bathroom unusable. Many much older guests looking like part of a half way house or rehab program. Not a hostel. Scary neighborhood and I felt very unsafe as a solo female traveler. Do not stay here.

Luigi started off my stay with a smooth check-in and great hospitality. The bed was OK, room and bathroom clean. Great kitchen, reliable wifi, good common area (although not too social). Absolutely loved the location, close to different parts of Bilbao, with many cafes, eateries, and supermarkets nearby. Would definitely stay there again.

Nice room with a/c, good bathroom and shower. Common areas were closed due to Covid.

The staff are simply fantastic! Always kind and cheerful, they are sure to make your stay a pleasent one. The beds are quite comfortable compared to other hostels. The showers are excellent as well.

I went there the sheets were dirty and it seemed that someone had slept in my bed. I Texted the reception about the situation ( I was planning to arrive after the working hours of the reception so I couldn't complain to someone in person). They never responded. I had to find somewhere else to stay at the last minute. Really unprofessional

Pros: Price great Cons: not especially social while I was there (+ no events), overly perfumed, no stove Summary: Solid for the price.

Solid 2 Stars, mould Bathroom, payed more than advertised no chairs or somewhere you can sit and so on and so on.

The best hostel ever in my life! Perfect location, kind staff, clean bathroom, tidy wardrobes. I strongly recommend this hostel!!

Overpriced for what it is, but probably on the cheaper side of things in comparison with other options at the same dates. What I didn't like the most was how unfriendly the staff was.

The receptionist Xiomara was very kind and welcoming! The place is a good walking distance from the city center. Overall, good atmosphere and good services! The only thing I would suggest would be upgrading the lockers and cleaning the bathrooms a bit more (still clean but could improve).

Gino and his staff are truly accomodating. The facilities are clean and tidy and the patrons do look after it. Stay here and you won't need to worry about anything but where to go, what to do, where to it and when to drink.... But most people inside will help you.

My first hostel experience. This is a world class hostel meaning that the facilities service and other amenities are really well presented and offered. Booked though website and saved even more. Bed linen is clean and lavatories are clean too. I didn’t like the smell of their deodorants in room. Ventilation works great too and rooms are not stuffy. WiFi connection could be better as it frequently disconnects.

God service - especially the woman in the reception 👍 Rooms were fine ☺️ Our bathroom was pretty dirty - but it might just be the people i was sharing the room with that were messy..

Great hostel with friendly staff. Rooms are nice and clean with air-conditioning and a clean bathroom. Rooms also have lockers and usb-ports by the beds. Staff is very friendly. Neighborhood is a bit sketchy and as a solo woman felt a bit anxious walking alone at night. But the location is very close to public transport and the city centre so that was very nice

I had to make my own bed. A lot of mosquitos (based on smashed ones on the walls and the ceiling). A bit too busy neighbourhood (noisy at night). The staff could be more welcoming / friendly. Common area closed due to COVID. I finally decided to change the hostel for the second night. Prices are decent, though.

It's not close, not far from the city center. Sadly the corner of the building seems to be visited by "suspicious" people, in fact there are usually police and security officers watching these few streets. Shower with super nice, hot water, bathroom cleaned every day. They don't have padlocks for the lockers and a regular one you can take doesn't work.

Best choice in the city in every detail! ☺️
