Noisy rooms as hell (large road and tram nearby), and at 9am, they turn on a central TV in the lobby that can also be heard from all rooms. They also won't allow late check-outs for individuals within a particular room, which is unfortunate. Sadly not a place to come back to.

If you are looking for a multi people room please add one or two stars. Private rooms are nothing like pictures (staff informed me that pictures are actually taken in other location, at least on booking site) and walls are thin as paper. I could literally hear person brushing teeth in common toilet two rooms down the hall. When people were returning in middle of the night, I knew exactly what they were talking about, witch channel was turned on on TV and so on. Same for phone calls. Did even manage to hear person on other end of the line, as speaker in phone was nice. Another thing is that hostel is split to two areas, and I didn't receive keys for entering either one - reception had to manually let me in. Result was me standing in the rain, ringing bell like a maniac waiting to someone to open the door.. for breakfast at 9 am. On the other hand staff was nice and smiling, location is also a plus and place has proper internet connection. All in all - didn't get much sleep and I wish I had chosen another place for my stay in Bilbao.

Avoid this place when you can. Lady at reception was nice. People at the hostel where scary. Key system doesn’t function. Somebody got robbed just outside the hostel. No ventilation in the room. 30€ for a bed in a dorm is way out of line.

Avoid!! The worst ever! In response to hostel's post: I would like to appologize for my first short advice since it was not constructive and to add the clarification: I do not recommend the place since for 60 euro I received a different claustrofobic room (12 m2 instead of 20m2) and when I was talking to my boyfriend at 9 pm somebody was hitting the wall, at 4 am I was awakened by sb's conversation (continued by tv, preparation to sleep, and whispering) and at 8 am again awakened by child's running - all situations happened for the same reasons- the walls were so thin and there was joint ventilation system what cause that you could hear everything even if the guests were trying to be quiet). I've slept in many hostels, shared rooms included - this hostel was the most expensive, the loudest (although I had separate room and nobody was partying) and I was cheated with the picture of the room while booking (much bigger and nicer than that taken by me and posted here).

We stayed in the 12 bed room. The bathrooms were clean. The outside area had two hammocks. The bed room had a slightly bad smell, probably because there was only one window in the room. Despite that we slept very good. All in all solid.

The hostel is very cheap and cosy, large dorms with 8 bunk beds. The people of the hostel were very helpful, but some didn't speak english and were not able to even help us book a taxi. The visitors of the hostel were often very bad, rude and disrespectful. They were shouting during the night, too drunk, shaking the beds, hitting the walls, lying nude on the bed, even though the guy is with a lot of girls and even pleasured himself with a lot of sound during the night. Had the worst nights here, so the hostel should definitely try to do something about their visitors or policies to kick someone out of the hostel.

It was easy to find and check in was a breeze. Both the Hostel and Room security was excellent. Very clean with sheets, pillow, blanket and locker provided. It was easy walking to Guggenheim and other places, it also had plenty of cafes close by. The friendly man at reception had excellent English which made everything easy. Thank you.

Don't buy foid to the fridge. It's tiny and you cant cook any real meals. They only have a water boiler for hot water for tea and instant coffee. And a microwave. What a dissapointment.

Place is ok and the host is great but some guests were on the weird/creepy side and ventilation is non existing.

If you are ever stuck in Bilbao and need a place to spent some hours, freshen up, drop your bag, this place is amazing for that. Very helpful and polite reception.

With 20 Euros one of the more expensive Albergues along the Camino but totally ok. It was August, close to the bus station. It is clean, reception is friendly, backyard was improved compared to other reviews where it was criticised. For me it was the perfect stay before going home.

My experience was to just leave my bags as a non guest. 5€ per day which I thought was very reasonable

It’s a bright and clean hostel but very bad sound proofing... I can hear my phone ringing in two rooms away and you can definitely hear your neighbors chatting and even joining them...despite very very bad sound proofing, overall it’s a good hostel.

Great Hostel in a great location in Bilbao. New facilities and modern design. There is private yards where you can enjoy the sun during your stay in Bilbao. Highly recommenced hostel if you are in Bilbao.. =)

Good location metro. Great price. Only issue was our room was right by the kitchen/living room area so lots of noise

Beds are comfortable and the rooms are cleaned every day but please turn off the TV outside them, some people sleep later than 9am!

The best thing about this hostel is it’s location! It’s in a really good area from where you can reach everything in Madrid - La Plaza de España it’s a very good metro station with a lot of connections but the cool places are close walking distance anyway so no need for it. The hostel is clean - they clean the bathroom pretty often and the room I was in was ok. The beds are very uncomfortable though and the pillows as well...not that much of a rest you can get here. But if you are planning to stay not for long in the room I think is fine.

The hostel is sparkling clean! I've seen the place mopped twice per day and I was offered clean sheets with no extra charge! The staff are super friendly and available 24hrs!

First, there is no free breakfast, apparently because of Covid (?). The overall atmosphere of the hostel is not only not existing but rather depressing. My 14 bed dorm was on the street level and felt like a prison. Then, there are gender-neutral toilets and showers for the dorm rooms. This in combination with having many individual shower rooms that you could not lock is just stupid. The good thing was the terrace and the staff was nice. This is not a feel-good hostel.

Most friendly and helpful receptionist ever, so lovely and great first impression of hostel Close proximity to city center The room was clean and quiet, with an excellent shower...

I think 25€ is too expensive especially without breakfast. The Room was crowded (12 people) and not very clean. Plus the neon lights in the common space dont feel very welcoming and it’s a shame the yard closes at 8pm. Other than that, it’s not super close to the city center, but the metro is just next to the hostel.
