I travel a ton all over the world and have stayed in some pretty basic places. This is only the second time I have ever left a place early. Everything felt cheap and dirty. We had too few pillows and too few sheets (which may have been fine as they were disgusting in any case and we even had to share a pillow!). The couch was filthy and broken, and everything smelled terrible. None of us slept at all the first night, partly due to the astonishingly hard mattresses. I am still not sure what material they were made of, but it does not seem to be found in nature. My family thinks I am a superhero because I booked us into a hotel just up the street called the Grand Hotel Bilbao that feels like we dropped off an Yugo and picked up a brand new Ferrari. We are all MUCH happier. We loved Bilbao but hated the Atxuri Apartments with the white hot intensity of a thousand suns. Learn from our mistake. Do NOT stay here.

Low low low cleaning standards... everything is dusty and not very clean, If your room is facing the street it will be very loud with the garbage truck passing 4 times in the night! Mattresses super dirty and dusty - we woke up with sore throats and sick, Our daughter couldn’t sleep the whole night, she woke up with dark eyes circle... 8 months old! As if it wasn’t enough... You can feel each and every single spring on that bed too! The shower door we needed to ask them to fix it because is was falling from apart. The brown sofa was stinking like behind so bad!!! We asked them for blankest to cover it and later a guy came to put some kind of textil spay that didn’t helped and after 30 minutes they put it again and even after that it smelled like sweaty cheesy behind. I wanted to clean the room myself because I had a non refundable and they didn’t wanted to give me back the money for the rest of the stay in total 14 we only stayed 1 night! They don’t even own a vacuum cleaner!!!! That was the moment we decided we are not gonna stay, even if it means losing a 1200 euro! There are 2 receptionists a male and a female the female was nice the dude was weird- when I came to complain about the noise and cleanliness and door shower and dust and asked for a vacuum cleaner he asked me “ if there anything I did like” as if I’m not allowed to complain or I’m complaining too much... People just stay away!!!! Greedy people ! 15 euros for a parking space!

Lovely apartment. Very big. Could have slept 4 people. Well equipped but would like extra pillow! Full sized cooker and oven, and washing machine. But I didn't use either. Would have liked to stay extra days. Will come again.

Does the job when you have a big family. Good location to get to the main attractions. Some might find the beds a bit firm but it is a matter of personal preference.

Clean, functional, affordable and well-located close to the old town of this fascinating and historic city. The apartment was immaculately clean, and the beds very comfortable (though I think the sofa bed could have been a different story, glad we didn't need to use that). Stark minimalist decor, the Guernika print in each bedroom was a little odd, but otherwise a great value overnight spot

Nice size. Well equipped. Quite handy for tram and metro stations and for the old town. Check-in was rather slow as a lot of admin and explanation were needed.

Close to the center though a steep climb back. Friendly staff and quick reactions to small problems in the apartment. Parking garage is not for big cars and challenging for normal sized cars. Rooms are ok, kitchen is not very well equipped, beds ok, building/rooms get very hot after a few hot days, no airco. Apartment for 3 was a good size and with a good bathroom.

Always coming back with pleasure, as the price for the accommodation is quite alright. The staff from reception some time is not properly trained to handle customers. Be careful, as the reception is opened untill 9:30pm

Good location for the old town, and decent price for a family of four, if not cheap Air conditioning was missed on some hot and sticky nights. Must confess to having missed that when I booked. Only issue was the car park - our Golf sized hire car did not have enough steering lock to get down the ramp to the lower level without reversing, and it was very tight getting in and out the exit. And the gate doesn't give you much time. Bit slow reversing to adjust my line first time out and the gate closed on us. When I've paid the excess, it won't have been a cheap stay. Whilst I admit that the car has a poor turning circle, I cannot remember ever having been in such a tight parking structure.

EVERYTHING WAS EXACTLY AS PRESENTED ON THE SITE. THE STAFF VERY HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY. THE METRO, THE TRAM AND THE OLD CITY OF BILBAO AT A 10-MINUTE WALK DISTANCE. VERY GOOD LOCATION. PUBLIC TRANSPORT IN FRONT OF THE APARTMENT. SOME MINOR REPAIRS TO THE 1ST FLOOR APARTMENT I STAYED WILL NEED TO BE DONE IN THE FUTURE. AS REGARDS THE RELATIONSHIP OF QUALITY AND PRICE IS GOOD. THANK YOU, WE WILL BE BACK AGAIN IN THE FUTURE.

Verry good place! You have all at your disposal, if you are the kind of human that can sustain yourselfe. I prefered the apartment instead of some hotel room. Beds al verry confy, the couch is the best(supposed to be 4 people apartment). Best buy to stay 7 days in Bilbao. Thumbs up!!!

This was one of the dirtiest places I’ve ever stayed in and I’ve been to many places. From the second we entered the room, there was this awful smell. The sofa bed was USELESS junk that no human being could sleep on. No Air conditioning. The beds were not comfy at all. The TV was tiny (like 30cm width on the bottom stand) and you may as well have nothing at all. The only thing we liked was the shower (it worked!) Glad this was only a 2 night stay but overall, this was a dump! Reception lady was nice, however.

Convenient location close to center. However, for four days our room stinks cigarette and weed smell from early mornings to late evenings. The non smoking rules are not at all reinforced. We complained to reception with one of the neighbors room number and a video of him constantly smoking in his window, they pretented to call him, but nothing changed. We did not breathe fresh air for more than 15 minutes in total even in the elevators. It is like being in a junkie résidence. The tragedy is that my wife is 4 months pregnant and that we took this residence because it is supposed to be non smoking one. On top of that, the windows face dozens of council estate residences with extremely loud people at all times of the day and their children play and scream wreckleslly all afternoons and all evenings. In short prepare to barricade yourself and all the windows when you are in the room. Cherry on the top, there is no gym and no rooftop terrace as it is advertised on the booking page, they tell you that with a big smile and no apology as if you are too stupid to care. We left the place one day earlier than planned because it was like a nightmare to be there. In short Highly recommend this residence if you are a junky. PS. I could not post the videos of the smoking residents and noisy neighbors but I'm happy to share them with you directly on demand.
