Terrible experience. This is a place to avoid. We had a reservation. When me and my wife and daughter arrive to hotel we were refused to stay because was missing one original ID card. I had my original card but my wife only had a copy. I felt humiliated. The receptionist mentioned law but was unable to show us the law document and the need of a original ID Card for all the guests was not mentioned on the reservation document.

Nice and clean room. Both bath tube and shower are available. Nice park view from the room. It is very close to the shopping malls. A little bit far away from the city center. Breakfast is very good, too many alternatives to eat and drink. Very wide restaurant area. Open restaurant is available for smokers.

Pretty nice location with a great view of the city, I would prefer a different type of room next time. The shower was kind of small and smelly, and the tub didn't have a curtain at all. I still think it's an affordable choice for your stay in Bilbao. The parking at the hotel is worth it at night. There is parking behind the hotel but i wouldn't park there with a nice car lol.

Excellent location, not far from metro, McDonalds is near, great view. Good breakfast. Small room, but with everything needed and very clean. Very interesting lobby and overall great design. The only problem is that google shows car route incorrectly.

I've liked the food in the restaurant. For the price I've paid , I found the rooms a bit too small and not so well cleaned.

This hotel at most can be regarded as a 2-star hotel, and definitely not a 4-star as they claim to be. Even the 2-star hotels in Asia can be regarded better than Peurta De Bilbao. Stay here was met with poor hospitality, bad staff (slightly racist too) and poor service. Stayed here for 7+ days, the experience has been nothing but a nightmare. If you are in Bilbao attending a conference, and planning to stay at this location because of the proximity to BEC, PLEASE DONT!! There are many other better options in the city center. For a hotel which tries to attact business vistors, they do not even provide the basics. We were refused hot water kettle, no bottled water in the room (charged 10 euros), no room service, does not have ironing boards, air-con was blowing hot air, thermostat was not working and no one came to fix even after asking. The receptionist has one standard response for everything, and has to call the manager even for the smallest request. The hostess at the restaurant was very rude, on asking for bottled water, we were asked to drink from the tap. The only good part of the stay was the chef, who accomadated our request for vegeterian food preference, and made us some delicious breakfast.

The guy with the glasses is not kind and thinks he is great, you can not sit on the sides of the swimmingpool, because the stones will get damaged, really weird. Bathroom is really nice, dirty carpet in the room, dirty windows.

The rooms were extremely dated and not extremely clean. We were also booked into a room for disabled person adaption but it wasn't - so we had a bath and a step up to get in the shower. Luckily I was able to do this and the sink was low enough but it wasn't what we were booked in for. The bed was very firm and comfy to be honest - but again the sheets could have been fresher and the bed made better (I think this hotel is a 4 star? And I was very surprised at the room). There was no where to hang clothes. The service was ok, pleasant at the front desk but we couldn't test anything else as neither the bar or restaurant were open when we returned from the concert after 11pm. The hotel had very good parking on site which was great.disabled spaces. And direct lift access. it was fine. Good location for the BEC. but it wasn't 4 star spectacular.

This hotel was very nice! The rooms were immaculate and big. The food at the restaurant was excellent! Our waitress Annie was so welcoming and accommodating to us . She made our experience there unforgettable. I would definitely recommend this place if you are visiting the area.

The room was adequate. Bed very comfortable. Breakfast was seriously disappointing. The cooked breakfast was served stone cold. When the manger was asked rectify this they thought it sufficient to reheat scrambled eggs and raw bacon in the microwave. This is supposed to be a 4 star hotel. I don't think so.

Great place and location with own paid parking. But the wifi here is very bad 😞

Really nice hotel on the outskirts of Bilbao. Not far to the Metro line either, so great location if you want somewhere quiet to stay near the main city. Supermarkets are also nearby. Really comfortable beds as well and a brilliant bed. The room includes: Beds, a safe, a desktop, a television, a wardrobe (closet) and a shoe rack. The bathroom includes: A bath, 2 showers (One in the bath) A toilet, a B-day and a sink. The hotel also includes a luxurious outdoor pool with a poolside bar along with tables, chairs, parasols and deck chairs. Also a lovely dinner and breakfast available for a good price. Lovely reception staff and restaurant waiters as well as an excellent cleaning team. Lovely hotel, would highly recommend and if back in the area would definitely not hesitate to stay there again.

Hotel is in poorly kept condition and needs an upgrade badly!!! It is way too old and not taken care at all. I was simply in shock how nasty the staff was. Specifically Roberto, the most appalling customer service I have ever had in my life! We were travelling with a small child and arrived late to do the check-in and couldn't find the hotel and when we called Roberto asking to kindly guide us and if he could stay on the phone and explain how to get there, he said he was not able to stay on the phone to guide us. Then once we found the hotel after 3 phone calls when we checked in he was very nasty as they charge EUR 14 for parking when the hotel is far from the city centre. Roberto made me show him an email confirming that the parking was included in the reservation and since it was too late, I said I can show you later since my son was very tired. Roberto stayed with the parking ticket to ensure that I couldn't leave the hotel parking. The following day, Lourdes was as impolite as Roberto was even said that the parking in Bilbao was more expensive than EUR 14 when in reality we didn't even pay for parking more than EUR 1 at the city centre and in the most important sightseeing spots as parking is FREE from 13 hours until 14:30 then you can easily pay per hour and we paid not more than EUR 3 in front of a hotel right across the famous Puppy and Guggenheim Museum so in all never paid over EUR 5 for parking in the city centre. They lied that parking is more expensive in the centre of Bilbao when in reality they are crazy to charge EUR 14 for the night when it FREE in Bilbao!!!! Don't stay in this hotel ever and Roberto and Lourdes should look for another job not serving customers!!!!! AVOID THIS HOTEL SUPER DATED WITH URGENT TLC NEDED AND AWFUL STAFF - ROBERTO (the guy with the glasses) AND LOURDES especialmente!

The food was absolutely amazing. Beef sirloin and the hamburger was on point. Fish was also well cooked and it was all served as if it was a special restaurant. Our expectations were just to eat something as we were pretty hungry but we ended up with a feast. Perfect service and the waitress was very kind, she also spoke us in English.

Fue una estancia súper agradable! This was one of my most pleasant stays, especially because of the very nice staff, always helpful in finding solutions to any kind of obstacle. The rooms were clean and well equipped, everything as or better than expected. Gracias, nos vemos en la próxima!

Quite nice place in a very-very busy shopping park with big stores. Great service provided by friendly staff and overall relaxing atmosphere. Restaurant and bar are highlights deserving separate mention.

Very nice hotel to stay if you are going to BBK live. Its ~10 minutes by walk from BEC, where there are free buses going to BBK live every 10-20 minutes. The restaurant in the hotel is very good as well

Horrible. A super smelly room with the most disgusting carpet I have ever seen in a hotel. I was scared to do yoga excersises on a mat because the carpet looked like you could get a STD from it. The fire alarm went off everytime we took a shower. I think because of the steam. But then the staff started harrising by phone and by knocking on the door to ask if we smoked cigarettes. We don’t smoke. I’m pregnant. One time we found a cleaning lady on her knees on the bathroom floor cleaning. Who treats their employees like that? When we didn’t have clean towels for 4 days I asked the reception. They were so sorry and she alarmed the cleaners amediatly. After 2 hour waiting by the poolside with bad weather… still no clean towels and a disgusting room. One time we found a dirty cleaning cloth from the cleining lady in the bathroom just layong there and one time they just made the bed and left all cleaning supplies inside the room. But took the please clean sign… and then an angry cleaning lady came telling me I should hang the please clean sign on the door to get service… but they took it. Strange and just disgusting horrible place

A nice hotel in a very nice neighbourhood. Close to the Bilbao Exhibition Centre and other amenities. One major downside: they don't give water in the rooms, only on the first day of your stay! Weird

Hotel outside of the town mostly for businesses or conventions with fab outside pool and very nice breakfast. Receptionist F...forgot her name sorry was great and welcoming and also lady at the breakfast. Thank you very much for a lovely stay.

Lovely relaxed nice staff and pool

The staff were nice when I checked in but when I woke up for breakfast the lady that was working there was very aggressive, when my grandparents whom I never seen with two years came down at 10:15 she threw a fit and took the plates from there table and threw there food in the garbage as they were watching then as we were leaving she started saying I’m calling the police I will never stay here again!

I have been staying here for a while now and I must say that the level of service and quality of hotel amenities is extraordinary! Highly recommended especially for business and family stay!

All good for 1 night stay. Room clean, beds very comfortable. Spotless. Food very good for dinner and breakfast. Very good value. Book online for free secure parking.
