We would have been better off sleeping in the car. The room was tiny, the bathroom got wet whenever the toilet was flushed, the sink was turned on, or someone took a shower, and it was impossible to sleep thanks to the heat and the party that the bar next door had on a Monday night until 3am with music blaring. Parking nearby is impossible. One star for the receptionist, who was helpful.

We had a great stay in Moon Hostel Bio in Bilbao. Very good location, clean rooms and very nice host. Great value for money.

Rooms not so big and no fresh air enough. But price is doable. But staying there (in 07-2014) was for me anyway best thing ever.. met there my later becoming girlfriend and future wife :-)

I don't even know where the ''bio'' comes from. The entire hostel was overheated, and lights tended to be on all the time. The atmosphere was not especially nice, there is almost no decoration. I did fell safe though and the location is good, at a walking distance to Guggenheim museum. It's ok. Only reason why I would stay there is the price though.

The room was for non-smokers, but people had been smoking there A LOT. Even the beds smelled like tobacco. Breathing was unbearable due to the dirtiness of the place and the smoke smell. For making things even worst, furniture was broken. I've attached pictures of the stubs we found on the room and the furniture also. Beds were also uncomfortable. Service was really SLOW.

Walls too tiny, terrible beds (every morning I woke up feeling my back broken). It was cold overnight and even if we asked recepción to turn on the heater that was not done. The room is essential beds and small closet to leave you stuff (not spacious enough). Same in the bathroom, there was not even space to put your stuff inside.

Only stayed the one night. Nice hostel, seemed clean and friendly

Booked single room, got a dormitory room with 4 bunk bed (was alone) The street is a bit scetchy, but all else ok. Great value

I think you get what you pay for, which is not a lot. The matrasses didn't look clean, as were the pillows. The bathroom was very dirty and it seemed as if they weren't being cleaned at all. There were people staying for months who seemed to have claimed the place and I didn't feel very welcome. The staff was quite nice though, when I called at 11pm because I couldn't get my key, they helped me out very well and I could pick up my bags late in the evening when I left. Sketchy rooms, but the hallway looks impressive. That's about it.

I paid cheap, I got cheap results. Stayed here only for a night and the room was ok, cleanliness ok, not great comfort due to the heat (no AC in the room), small shower.

Trotz guter Lage und billigem Preis ist das gesamte Bad mit schwarzem Schimmel überzogen, die Dusche flutet das Bad und schränke im Zimmer sind eingetreten. Schade.

für 12,50 € die Nacht in einem 6-Bett-Zimmer, da sind die Erwartungen niedrig. Und das war auch gut so. Für die miefenden schnarchenden Mitschläfer kann das Hostel nix, dafür war der Schimmel im Bad eher nicht so toll. Ansonsten: guter Preis, gute Lage, nettes Personal.

Gutes Hostel im Zentrum Bilbaos gelegen. Ich hatte ein Einzelzimmer gebucht, letzlich verbrachte ich eine Nacht alleine in einem Vierbettzimmer. Zimmer sauber, Bad auch, aber für vier Leute sehr klein. Alleine im Zimmer war alles in Ordnung. Wifi leider nicht im ganzen Haus erreichbar, man bot mir an in ein Zimmer mit besserem Wifi zu wechseln. Küche relativ klein und schlecht ausgestattet, der war bei meinem Aufenthalt über eine Mikrowelle verfügbar, kein Wasserkocher oder ähnliches.
