The hotel is good but don't stay there if you don't have a car. No dining options close by and no frequent public transportation. I asked for a taxi to the airport the night before and when the taxi didn't arrive on time the receptionist kept giving me excuses about it and refused to call another company. The taxi was 20 minutes late and when it arrived it already had the meter on with €15. The driver said she had to come from Bilbao and that they charge from the beginning of the trip (which is irrational and there's no way to confirm when they start the meter). Long story short, do not be fooled by the hotel's proximity to the airport if you don't have a car, you are better off staying in Bilbao because you'll have more things to do and it will cost you the same or less in terms of time and money.

Great value hotel, located 15m by car from Bilbao and Portugalete. Good services for the price. If coming by car watch out for the parking, because it is small and can hold just a few.

Needs an update or new carpet. Staff helpful but furnishings worn and tired with stains on walls. Musty smell coupled with weird smoke smell. A bus ride away from town centre but not ideal to get to BBK Rock fest.
