Lovely place, friendly, nice view and quiet with parking. The hotel has 3 buildings. Wi-Fi is strong. The breakfast was very good and nicely displayed. I recommend.

When I look for a hotel, I don't need fanciness. I need a comfy bed, silence and cleanness. Possibly a good breakfast. A nice room and bathroom are the icing on the cake. This is all you find here. Plus a free guarded parking. The hotel stands on one of the hills surrounding Bilbao, in a very quiet and beautiful location, less than 15 minutes away by car from the center and from the airport. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms and bathrooms are clean, spacious and well-decorated. Breakfast is served in shifts of 45 min each starting at 7.30. This allows them to serve fresh, top-quality products, reducing waste. One of the best breakfasts I had in hotels, comparable in quality to 4/5 star hotels' breakfasts. Of course, don't expect long tables of food, but they have several variegated tasty options (sweet and savory) to satisfy any taste/need. The family who owns this amazing place (with a gorgeous view of Bilbao) is caring and warm and will let you feel at ease and welcomed as soon as you meet them. Super friendly staff. The room is basic but very clean and comfortable. The view over the city is amazing. Access to Bilbao so easy with nearby funicular. I had an early morning flight so can't comment on breakfast.

Lovely staff. Room excellent although bed collapsed and we need up sleeping on mattress on the floor. Breakfast and breakfast lady delightful. Location great. Walked to and from funicular for our evening in town.

Excellent hotel .great view. Great room. Awesome service ,5 minutes by car from a great restaurant. And about the same to the funicular, which takes you down to the city and brings u back up for a few shekels.

Absolutely perfect for overnight stay before heading for the ferry. No evening meals or bar but supper breakfast for €10. Can't fault it.

Amazing hotel, especially if you're driving as it comes with free parking! The room is very modern and sparkling clean, and the staff (owners of the hotel) are really friendly and helpful. I'll definitely come back if I'm ever in Bilbao again!!!

Fantastisch oberhalb der Stadt gelegen, 2,5km entfernt von der Srilbahn, die direkt in die Stadt hinunterfährt, sodass man alle Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß erreichen kann. Während der "Großen Woche" im August fährt die Bahn sogar bis 24 Uhr. Die Zimmer sind funktional eingerichtet, die Betten sehr bequem. Das Personal ist außerordentlich freundlich und hilfsbereit, eine junge Mitarbeiterin spricht perfekt Französisch, Spanisch und Englisch. Unbedingt im Hotel frühstücken, es gibt ein sehr schönes Buffet für 10 Euro pro Person.

A well positioned hotel looking over the fabulous city of Bilbao. Magnificent views but the compromise is it is out of the city. It all depends on what your preferences are. The service is second to none, and we will be staying at this hotel again in the future.

Fine family run hotel, perfect for a Bilbao city visit. Especially when you're in the red-brick building. A few minutes drive from city centre. A warning, which has nothing to do with the hotel itself, Google maps suggest a walking path down to the city. DON'T go or try. The combination of steepness and loose stones WILL make you fall. The hotel has a great value for money and is highly recommend.

Super freundliches Personal. Haben beim Besichtigen von Bilbao zufällig den Hoteleigentümer getroffen der aus gleich auf nen Kaffee eingeladen hat. Dabei richtig gute Tipps gegeben wo wir z.B. gut und günstig Essen gehen können. Beim Hotel gibt es nichts zu meckern. Sauberes Zimmer, richtig gutes Frühstück. Macrons und Süße stückchen. Omlette, belegte Sandwiches und Hausgemachter Yoghurt mit frischen Früchten. Der Nespresso Kaffe dazu ist schon lecker, Umweltgedanke hin oder her. Der Fußweg zurück aus der Altstadt dauert so 40 min. und es geht nur Bergauf. Dafür ist der abendliche Blick auf die Stadt wunderschön. Der zum Hotel gehörende Garten, der super gepflegt ist, ladet dazu ein Abends noch lange draußen zu sitzen. Genügen Sitzmöglichkeiten dafür gibt es. Wärmste Empfehlung für dieses tolle Hotel.

Great hotel just outside Bilbao. Very convenient driving in or taking bus to centre. Nice grounds and close to the fennicula railway down into Bilbao. Lovely room with luxury shower. Best breakfasts I've ever had in Spain. Only wish they had proper tea/coffee supply in rooms with milk. Had to ask for extra that was treated as bar service!

Friendly staff, great view of Bilbao, easy parking, park the car at the top of the funicular and easy ride into town (every 15). Breakfast had pintxos have to book a time.

On the outskirts of the city, looking down over the city, a great view. A great advantage is free parking and on the bus route for the heart of the Old Town.

Great dog friendly hotel. fantastic views overlooking Bilbao. Owner and staff very friendly and helpful with advice given when asked for. Buffet breakfast was good. Only downside was no bar or resturant but we didn't expect one as it is only 2 star.

Lovely Hotel and wonderful rooms. Dogs are welcome, there are plenty of walks around and we enjoyed our visit very much. At nighttime, you hava a wonderful view at the city of Bilbao.

Ott on COVID19 safety. No bedding, only a sheet, had tomask for more next day and was still cold. No bar or cafe. My car was being repaired. No advice was given re sensible walk into Bilboa. Eventually found long flight of steps but as this place is on top of a mountain, not easy to get back from a bar. Very disappointed with the place.

We stayed in one of the appartments and that was great! Spacius, clean and light if you open all the screens. The staff is very, very friendly and helpfull in any way. There is also a nice garden were you can overlook Bilbao and sit and relaxe. The only pity are the concrete green sheds that you also see. Take a stroll with the stairs on the hill to the city or the funicular and take a taxi on your way back.
