Leaving
Bilbao
more
exhausted
than
when
I
arrived.
We
stayed
2
nights.
The
positives:
the
surrounding
area
is
a
great
location
(aside
from
the
gym
below).
The
apartment
was
large,
clean
and
the
kitchen
well
stocked
with
cooking
supplies.
This
could
be
an
ideal
spot
for
early
birds,
those
staying
longer
periods
of
time,
wanting
to
cook
in,
and
not
too
affected
by
noise.
(The
walls
are
paper
thin.)
At
first
I
found
this
place
to
be
quirky
and
pretty
nice.
My
companion
and
I
had
a
horrendous
lengthy
travel
experience
prior
to
arrival,
so
we
were
exhausted
during
check-in,
which
was
somewhat
a
struggle.
After
checking
in/dinner,
we
noticed
the
lights
were
randomly
shutting
off.
At
first
thinking
it's
funny,
we
assumed
it
was
in
some
sort
of
energy
saving
mode.
When
doing
day/night
routines,
reading
a
book
etc.,
having
to
stop
in
the
midst
to
turn
lights
back
on
constantly,
gets
annoying
fast.
Worst,
this
included
the
AC,
which
was
turning
off
almost
as
soon
as
it
turned
on;
and
so
there
was
no
temperature
regulation.
This
left
me
waking
up
throughout
the
night
overheating,
sweating,
and
having
to
get
up
and
walk
across
the
railroad
apartment
to
turn
the
AC
unit
back
on,
which
would
then
shut
off
almost
immediately.
At
some
points
the
lights
stayed
on,
or
would
even
turn
on
via
a
motion
detector
when
we
didn't
want
them
to.
Finally,
there
is
a
gym
below,
and
that
gym
starts
EARLY.
No
sleeping
in
here.
You
start
to
hear
club
music
and
weights
dropping
at
7
AM.
The
gym
club
music
goes
on
and
off
all
day
long
as
well
-
not
ideal
for
travel
peace
and
quiet.
As
a
side
note,
upon
arrival
my
phone
had
broken
during
travel.
Everything
at
Líbere
is
done
through
QC
scans
on
a
smartphone.
There
was
no
way
for
me
to
contact
the
concierge
to
ask
about
the
lights,
temperature
control,
gym
noise
or
any
other
problems.
Traveling
to
the
next
destination
with
less
than
4
hours
of
sleep
and
not
happy
about
it
at
all.
