I
had
the
privilege
of
visiting
the
Lakhota
Palace
and
Museum,
right
at
the
middle
of
Ranmal
Lake,
way
back
in
2014.
So
if
you
are
reading
this,
I
would
suggest
you
look
at
other,
more
recent
reviews
-
since
the
entire
place
was
renovated
in
2018.
When
I
had
visited,
bulk
of
the
palace
was
not
in
great
shape,
party
due
to
non-maintenance,
partly
due
to
the
damage
caused
by
the
2001
earthquake.
But
even
then,
the
pristine
lake
surrounding
the
bastion,
home
to
delightful
flocks
of
birds,
the
uncricketer
like
statue
of
the
one
and
only
Ranji,
and
the
sheer
history
of
the
place
-
were
enough
to
impress.
Teh
museum
houses
artifacts
of
the
royal
family
dating
back
200
-
300
years,
and
a
few
cricketing
memorabilia
belonging
to
K.S.
Ranjitsinhji
as
well.
However,
post
the
renovation
in
2018,
the
entire
place
has
got
transformed,
repainted
and
the
museum
in
particular
has
got
reorganised.
Will
request
visitors
to
keep
track
of
the
latest
travel
timings,
and
entry
cost,
but
definitely
a
must-not-miss
place,
if
you
ever
are
in
Jamnagar.
