Pretty decent restaurant in this area. They have a range of Indian food with North Indian and South Indian delicacies. The service is pretty good and well managed. The restaurant has decent seating options too. The restaurant does not have open air seating and it’s on the first floor. The place is air conditioned. There’s parking available outside and there’s a lovely home made wine outlet on the ground floor

Definitely one of the best options for food when passing through this area. It's located on the main road. Limited parking is available, and gets full pretty fast.after an initial slow co-ordination on our order they fixed it and served the following dishes in good time. Food was tasty and we'll prepared. Reasonable prices.

Spice rack is our pit stop whenever we travel from Kannur to Mysuru or vice versa. They provide good food and wines. All spices wine is my all time fav. And this time bought pomegranate wine for a change :-)

This restaurant is a fine dining multi-cuisine restaurant in Gonikoppal town. Thus is probably the most modern upmarket restaurant in this area. Its part of the Cocoon hotel. In the menu I found a bit of everything from North Indian gravies to Coorg style food. The menu is very crisp and is divided into sections like starters, gravy, soups, Breads, rice items, desserts, beverages. We ordered whatever the waiter suggested. Mutton shorba, koli curry kodava style, mix veg kodava style, tandoori roti, akki roti, icecream of the day - custard apple icecream. All the dishes tasted very good . Dish prices are very nominal as compared to other restaurants. The restaurant sports a Karnataka retro house wooden design. It has a clean bathroom and handwash area. It also has a dedicated parking space at the back of the hotel. If you are coming to this hotel, then you can park your car at the dedicated parking space. There is very less parking space outside.

A very simple and clean restaurant. Best in gonikoppa. Nice elegant interiors. Had Chapathi with Kadai paneer. Excellent taste Veg noodles- one of the best i have had in 3star hotels. Accompanied by green chutney,soya sauce, vinegar and tomato sauce. Very soft and well made Paneer Manchurian - Lightly crispy and less of filler vegetables like usual Manchurian. I loved it. Honey and fig icecream - Excellent icecream with flavour of honey. Must try. Excellent service. Price felt reasonable for the ambience and quality.

Good dining place if you are on the way to Coorg(madikeri) and a clean restroom spot. The restaurant serves decent food but not the best, and the ambience is good. The parking space is huge and free! Tried the below menu, and was okay Prawn pepper fry - 4/5 Prawn ghee roast - 2.5/5 Mutton masala - was okay Kodava style koli curry - 4/5 Mushroom soup - 3/5 Gobi 65 -4/5 Ghee rice - good Veg and chicken fried rice - good Prawn noodle - okay Curd rice - good Fresh juice - was okay Rasamalai - best ⭐ Carrot halwa - okay Fish tawa fry - good Service is good, and everyone is friendly. Most of the food had less salt, it's better to add on one's need. Service was quick enough, and food was served hot. Ambience is bright and maintained clean. Restroom: another reason to have this restaurant as a stop, is because they have a clean restroom. Parking: free parking, sufficient enough to park many cars and even tempo traveller. Overall, a good place for dining. The Restaurant can concentrate and improve on the food taste, in order to attract more crowd, inspite of having too many good facilities (restroom, ambience and parking)

The staff need better attitude, especially the waiters. We were a party of only 3 and all the small tables were full but they did not let us dine at the larger tables as it was tourist season. Thankfully there are many other better restaurants around now and so we left. For anyone looking at restaurants nearby, please go to The Papera, Yellow Bamboo or even Classic or Willdon. Those people know what customer service means.

Worst Restaurant. Worst service. Have way too much partiality towards which table they get business. We ordered our tea and coffee. Was never served, even after an 1.5 hours and had to finally leave the restaurant. The food was okayish, not at all filling for the amount we paid. Note to management - Train your staff or change them. Because they will be the reason for your restaurant business problems.

Came here for breakfast but the idly was cold and the sambar was just water and vegetables essentially being a clear soup. Super dissatisfied with the quality of food. Especially for the price you pay. Not recommended.

We had Jackfruit Manchurian, Mutton Biriyani and Anjal Fish fry. Food was amazing and of sufficient quantity. Jackfruit Manchurian is a must try.

Excellent food and service. Choice of food is good, rates are reasonable. They also have rooms for stay, but that a little bit pricey. So I stayed at Virajpet at Suroor Tourist Home.

Very clean restaurant and hotel with good parking space. They let me use their plug point to charge my laptop as I had an urgent meeting to attend. There was no pressure to finish early and they let me have my meeting in peace. Additionally, they have some of the cleanest toilets I've come across. Thank you guys for being so accommodating 👍

Pathetic service and RUDE STAFF. We went there during holiday season. Even though there clearly was 3-4 tables empty, the staff just told us to leave as they were full. You only get these many people during tourist season, other times you'll have to cater to locals like us. Learn that first or you'll soon be out of business. Never going here again. Unlike before, there are many better restaurants around anyway

I visited here with family on the way to calicut from Bangalore. Food  delivery expect a 25 minute delay however food was tasty. Washroom kept clean. Good ambiance. Parking facility available and located in the first floor.

This place is really good for the family and friends. After long travel from Bangalore visited here for the lunch. Food was really good. Especially the jackfruit chilli starter was so good. And the staff were very kind. Really loved this place and importantly pocket friendly. Definitely recommend to everyone. Try once I loved it.

We did a Quick stopover for breakfast buffet and it was a delightful experience! -Friendly service. -Tasty food and I ended up eating more than my normal intake ! -large quantity, unlimited food is part of the breakfast buffet. Best wishes to the team at Spice Rack :)

Tried Mutton biriyani, mutton pepper dry. Good quantity. Good quality. Reasonable price. Some of the mutton pieces were hard/ rubbery. Bought grape wine and coffee wine, really liked it. Price is little high comparing with the other wine shops in coorg. But it's okay.

One of the worst place to dine .Worst management i personally experienced on 30th March 2022 . I ordered my food at 1:15 P M and they served us the food at 2:32A M they don't even bother to inform it will be delayed. We ordered Veg palav , chicken Ghee Roast and Chicken biryani.even the taste isn't good .we have much more good restaurants around..like silver sky , Papera etc

Decent and clean restaurant on the way back from Irupu falls to Virajpet/Madikeri. It is about 30mins from Irupu falls and the first good restaurant one encounters. Tried the kodava koli curry, chicken malai kebab, and chicken dum biryani and sweet lassi. The koli curry was fine (not great) but other items were good. Overall, this is a good place to grab a meal with lot of options including north indian dishes

One of the best restaurants to have food if you are staying in any of the resorts or home stays in 30 km radius. Trust me it’s worth the drive even if you are staying a bit far. Restaurant was super clean and served yummy food and the best part it wasn’t exorbitantly costly - being in a touristy place. Has parking and elevator as well. Thanks to staff for their service as they were accommodative when we requested for butter, jam etc for kids. Cleaned and prepped the table for anniversary cake cutting and provided us desert plates and spoons. Very thoughtful. Thanks
