Terrible! I tried getting through for an appointment yesterday, couldnā€™t get through and when I finally got through the receptionist was abrupt and said no appointments. Had to call 111 and they put a message through to the gp surgery as they said 1 year of having the same problem with my health is not acceptable, so told me to ring them back up and they were rude yet again. Claiming that you have to ring up at 8.30 on the day when they know full well no one can get through on the day. I rung up again and surprise surprise! Rude tone of voice when I asked a question. I donā€™t know why surgeries are hiring such rude women as receptionists but they should be ashamed of themselves talking to people like that. I know itā€™s not their fault the nhs is on itā€™s knees, but talking in such a nasty tone of voice to people because theyā€™re asking for an appointment considering weā€™re in a time that if you canā€™t get an appointment it could cost you your life and not having a shred of empathy shows how morally low these people are. Thereā€™s only one receptionist in Epping that is so lovely and helpful. Rest of them are nasty. The gps should be relieving the other nhs services! It shouldnā€™t have to come to A&E or 111 this is what we pay our NI for and they treat you like youā€™ve asked them to donate their kidney to you.

I started calling for an appointment today at 8.30 when lines open. It took 11 calls, and 37 minutes of my time to be in the queue. I was number 12. I pressed 8 for a call back. 3 hours later nothing, so I phoned again. This time I spoke to a receptionist nearly straight away. No appointments left, which isn't a surprise! Call back tomorrow. Another 3 and a half hours? I explained that I was in a lot of pain. This is not good enough. Had I had a call back, I would have been seen today.

Without a doubt the worst doctors I have ever had the misfortune to be with. To get any sort of medical attention or appointment they tell you that you MUST ring at 8:30. I called today at exactly 8:30, where the queue is ā€˜fullā€™ and the line cuts me. I have proceeded to try every 15 minutes and still at 11.05 the queue is still full. I have been through this before to be told when I finally get through that the appointments are all gone. You are unable to book any sort of appointment in advance. It shouldnā€™t have to be a lottery to get medical attention.

Absolutely awful service Waited over 3 hours to obtain the prescription to the pharmacy onsite? Absolute bell ends! Our baby was crying most of the time in this surgery with an infection, all this suffering Such a simple process how can they get this so wrong? NHS & doctors striking but they canā€™t even print & process a friggin prescription! The receptionist was abrupt thinking she was smart with unnecessary comments I feel sorry for anyone else visiting this clinic

Good luck getting an appointment , the telephone booking system is diabolical finally got through ,requested a callback ,2hours later .... nothing. This needs to be reviewed urgently as trying to get an appointment is a nightmare . Bring back the old system and let people book appointments in advance. Please sort this mess out.

The telephone appointment system needs to be overhauled. It not ok for patients to wait to speak to a receptionist for 35 minutes plus (after calling and not even getting in the queue for 2 days) to then be told there are no appointments available in the next 2 weeks. Please sort this out. It wouldn't be allowed in any other working environment.

I have been registered at the Limes for 3 years. I have always had good experiences with the doctors and nurses. The staff who answer the phones for appointments/ prescriptions have also always been friendly and helpful. The experiences that I have had here reassure me that I will be able to speak to someone to get the help that I need.

I think new phone system is a huge success. The ability for a call back is excellent. I have found the staff to be polite and helpful. I think people complaining need to try other surgeries before complaining. Well done on the improvement.

I had an appointment this morning, with Dr Hanger and a GP in training. I really felt so at ease, they couldnā€™t havenā€™t been kinder and nicer. Probably one of my best experiences at the Limes, in terms of care and quality. I wish it was always like this in the NHS, I understand it is a hard job, but an experience like today goes a long way.

I moved to Epping 3 weeks ago and registered with the limes. This took about a week to complete. On the first day of being registered I was able to get a home visit for my disabled partner who was suffering with pain. Amanda who came out was absolutely lovely I cannot rate her highly enough. Over the next few days my partner had a visit from a district nurse, has had a blood test and also booked in for physiotherapy. I, myself had my first registration app at the limes and the reception staff were polite and professional and I saw Jodie who was also lovely, friendly and made me feel completely welcome. So far my experience of this surgery and the people there has been first class. I had read lots of negative reviews but I am the sort of person that makes my own mind up based on my own experience and I so glad that I have. Let's hope the great experience continues ā˜†ā˜†ā˜†ā˜†ā˜†

Can't get through so they cut you off after telling you to try later. I rang on dot of 8.30 for an elderly mother who is imploring me to give up because trying to get an appointment is almost impossible and stressful

Very helpful receptionist (Michelle) who sorted out a "lost" referral for a hearing test. She was very kind and efficient. The Covid booster was delivered by a lovely nurse with no waiting.

Some doctors at Limes are fantastic but it's the luck of the draw if you get one of them. In my experience, most are shockingly bad, and seem to have very little basic knowledge. There is absolutely no follow through on any medical care - particularly for menopause or serious mental health issues. And their general kindness and warmth is lacking. Again, this is not all of the doctors at Limes; I have seen some very good ones. Practice manager Debbie Bodhanya is simply awful. The saying 'a fish rots from the head down' springs to mind. If the state of the NHS wasn't in such a bad state I would say go elsewhere but I am not sure it will be different elsewhere.

You can only book an appointment from 8:30 over the phone. So if you're physically there...they'll refuse to book anything. When you call up its full so you can't even get in queue! The receptionist think they know more then the doctors (unless you get the one nice one)

It is such a shame that the surgery is let down by poor communication, confusion and lack of organisation. I often visit the surgery to take my grandfather for regular appointments and medication reviews and sadly it is never a simple process, I donā€™t doubt all the staff are trying their best, unfortunately in my opinion the whole surgery needs an overhaul.

šŸ˜  The worst doctors surgery EVER. The receptionists are so rude and obnoxious almost like you owe them something.
