Roadside beautiful small waterfall flowing through stairs and on the other side beautiful valley. The view is awesome and satisfying to see water flowing through stairs. There is a mud way path to reach to the waterfall once you climb to the stairs . Small petty shop surrounding the spot where one can get eatables and tender .Easily visible from main road. In sort surrounded by beautiful nature. Not much crowded. As a roadside waterfall dedicated parking is not there but can park roadside. There are stairs to go up. The real beauty is after climbing the stairs .There is still water which is cold and clear. There is a horse ride facility too. I got a chance with complete white horse there.

Honnamma Falls is a lovely waterfall located in the Chikmagalur, Karnataka. The waterfall is situated at a distance of about 25 km from Kemmanagundi and about 1 km from Baba Budan Giri Dattatreya Peetha. The lovely waterfall has a height of approx about 30 feet. It is a wonderful spot and offers fascinating views of Baba Budan Giri Hills. The waterfall is nice and you can stop your car, spend some time, and have snacks. The waterfall has few stairs and makes for a good spot to take photos from multiple points and angles. This is one of the small waterfalls on way to Baba Budangiri from Chikmaglur.

Honnammana Halla Waterfall is a beautiful tourist attraction in Inam Dattatreya Peetha, Karnataka. It's also known as Manikya Dhara falls. It's nice falls on the way to Baba Budangiri at a distance of 7 kms. This fall is on road approach and water flowing through artificially man made stairs, one has to climb around 50 steps to reach to have a clear and close look of the fall. Waterfall height is about 30 feet , and situated midst dense forest. It is believed that bathing in this fall can cure various ailments. There is protection fencing built at bottom near the pool of the falls, where visitors can take a dip . A small temple is very close to the fall, where you can offer prayer to get blessings. You can stay here for a short break . Good place for photography with a great view of Baba Budhangiri hills. Quick eateries shops are there. Parking only option on roadside. Must visit !!!

An artificially constructed set of concrete steps cascades into a little waterfall-like area. It would be pleasant to make a brief stop en route to BB Hills and stroll in the refreshing stream of water. Small roadside restaurants and certain sports, including horseback riding, are also available. narrow roadways, making it difficult to obtain parking on busy weekends

Visited this well-known waterfall recently, which is more of a gentle cascade than a roaring stream. As a tourist hotspot, it's often bustling with visitors, especially near the entrance where concrete steps lead to the main viewing area. However, the real gem lies in taking a brief 10-minute walk away from the crowd. This short walk transports you to a serene, forest-like ambiance, where the tranquility of nature takes over. Surrounded by trees and the soothing sound of water, it feels like a different world, peaceful and calm. Without this walk, the waterfall might seem quite ordinary, but this little adventure makes it a worthwhile visit. πŸŒ³πŸ’¦πŸšΆβ€β™‚οΈπŸŒΏ

Beautiful place to spend good time. The falls are right on the Road, parking is a little issue as there is no dedicated parking lot. A few stalls adjacent to the falls are there serving snacks. The water is crystal clear, cold & refreshing. Please be a responsible citizen and don't spoil the falls by throwing plastic and waste into it.

This falls is located nearby bababudan giri road. Falls is flowing through artificially made stairs. Place is well maintained, but there is no proper parking. Falls water is pure and contains medicinal content. You can relax here while going to bababudan giri. Jhari falls jeep hiring point is just near around 500mtrs distance from this falls.

Honnammana Halla Falls is a beautiful waterfall located in the Chikkamagaluru district of Karnataka. It is about 29 kilometers from Chikmagalur city and can be reached by car or jeepπŸš—πŸš•. The falls are about 30 feet high and are surrounded by lush greenery. The water is clear and refreshing, and it is a popular spot for picnickingπŸ«–πŸ«–. There is also a small templeπŸ›•πŸ›• located near the falls. The best time to visit Honnammana Halla Falls is during the monsoon season (June-September), when the water levelsβ›ˆοΈπŸŒ§ are high. However, the falls are also beautiful during the winter🌨🌨 months (December-February). Overall, Honnammana Halla Falls is a beautiful and popular tourist destination. It is a great place to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of Karnataka. I would definitely recommend visiting Honnammana Halla Falls if you are in the Chikkamagaluru district. It is a beautiful and refreshing place to spend a day. Here are some additional details about Honnammana Halla Falls: - The falls are named after the Honnammana River, which flows nearby. - The falls are a popular spot for pilgrims, as they are believed to have healing powers. - The falls are also a popular spot for bird watching, as there are many species of birds that live in the surrounding forest. I hope this helps!

Honnamanna Halla Falls, also known as Manikyadhara Falls, is a scenic cascade nestled amidst the lush hills of Chikmagalur, Karnataka. While it may not be the most dramatic waterfall you'll encounter, it offers a charming escape with its unique features and easy accessibility. Pros: Picturesque Setting: Surrounded by verdant hills and dense forests, the falls offer a visually captivating backdrop. The cascading water, particularly during the monsoon season, creates a refreshing and serene atmosphere. Easy Access: Located just 1 km from Baba Budan Giri Dattatreya Peetha, the falls are readily accessible by car or bike. A short walk through well-maintained steps leads you down to the pool at the base of the falls. Safe for Swimming: Unlike many waterfalls with strong currents, Honamanna Halla has a shallow pool and gentle flow, making it safe for swimming and wading, especially for children. Religious Significance: The falls hold religious significance for Hindus and Jains, attracting pilgrims who visit the nearby Dattatreya Peetha. The serene atmosphere adds to the spiritual appeal. Year-Round Flow: Unlike many waterfalls that dry up during the summer, Honamanna Halla maintains a consistent flow throughout the year, thanks to its natural springs. Cons: Small Scale: Compared to other waterfalls in the region, Honamanna Halla is relatively small, with a height of about 30 feet. This might be a disappointment for those seeking a more powerful cascading experience. Limited Activities: Besides swimming and enjoying the scenery, there aren't many organized activities available at the falls. This might make it feel less exciting for adventure seekers. Crowds: Due to its proximity to Baba Budan Giri and its easy accessibility, the falls can get crowded, especially during weekends and holidays. This might take away from the peaceful ambiance. Basic Amenities: The area around the falls lacks basic amenities like restrooms and changing rooms. This can be inconvenient, especially for families with young children. Man-Made Enhancements: Some sections of the falls have been artificially constructed, which might take away from the natural charm for some visitors. Overall: Honnamanna Halla Falls is a charming spot for a quick getaway or a refreshing break while exploring Chikmagalur. Its scenic beauty, easy access, and safe swimming opportunities make it a good option for families and nature lovers. However, be aware of its limitations, such as the small scale, lack of activities, and potential crowds, to manage your expectations and ensure a pleasant experience.

This is a nice waterfalls enroute Baba Budangiri hills from Chikmaglur and a must stop point if you are going to Baba Budangiri. The waterfall is nice and you can stop your car, spend some time and have snacks. The waterfall has few stairs and makes for a good spot to take photos from multiple points and angle Honnamana Halla is located about 70 km from Chikmagalur town, which is about 265 km from Bengaluru, the capital city of Karnataka. Chikmagalur is well connected by road and rail to other major cities in Karnataka and India. You can reach Chikmagalur by taking a bus, train, or car from Bengaluru or other nearby places. From Chikmagalur, you can hire a taxi or a two-wheeler to reach Honnamana Halla. The road to the waterfall is narrow and rough, so you need to be careful while driving. Alternatively, you can also take a local jeep that will take you to the base of the waterfall. By road: You can drive up to the base of the waterfall, which is about 1 km from Baba Budan Giri Dattatreya Peetha. From there, you have to walk for about 10 minutes to reach the waterfall. This is an easy and convenient option for those who are not comfortable with trekking or have less time. Honnamana Halla, also spelled as Honnammana Halla, is a hidden waterfall located in the Shola forest of Chikmagalur district in Karnataka. It is one of the lesser-known waterfalls in Chikmagalur, but it is a beautiful and serene spot for nature lovers and adventure seekers. The waterfall is named after Honnamma, a local goddess who is worshipped by the villagers nearby. The waterfall is situated at a distance of about 25 km from Kemmanagundi and about 1 km from Baba Budan Giri Dattatreya Peetha, a holy shrine for both Hindus and Muslims. By trekking: You can start your trek from Kemmanagundi, which is a hill station that was once the summer retreat of the former king of Mysore, Krishnaraja Wodeyar IV. The trek distance is about 25 km one way, and it takes about 5 hours to complete. The trek difficulty level is moderate, with some steep and rocky patches along the way. The trek route passes through lush forests, grasslands, and streams. You can enjoy the scenic beauty and fresh air as you hike up to Honnamana Halla
