Greedy and rude guy at the coffee shop on Saturdays. Be careful, he makes his own prices for coffee. Paid 2.90 for a coffee on a Saturday, the same coffee costs 2.30 on a Wednesday. His response - we don't make enough money...never going to buy anything from them anymore.

This is my local centre and I visited the swimming pools last week. I was so disappointed with the temperature, it was freezing. As an adult, I didnt want to get in and my 1 year old was shivering the whole time and we had to leave. The baby pool was also closed, meaning he couldn't stand, sit or play. This may be due to covid but I'm not sure why it's closed. It's actually very boring with little to look at or do, having compared to Windsor and Braywick. This is so frustrating as it's 2 minutes away from me but unless the temperature is sorted, I won't be returning.

Pools are becoming increasingly difficult to book due to swim classes, badly managed as both pools should not be booked out at the same time when you having paying monthly members. Forest Spa still closed and restrictions in the gym. Members are paying monthly for closed facilities. The cafe is also closed yet locally Pret, Costa and Starbucks are still open. Carry on like this Bracknell Leisure Centre and members will continue to go elsewhere.

Big thank you to Nathan, who stayed after his work hours to show us the sports centre and give all the details and then helped us after the membership team tried to mug us off. Great employee. The centre is very nice, make sure you push them to give you all the membership details tho.

I recently came into the newly done up leisure centre/Everyone Active branch now that it's opened up since the initial lockdown time. I got served by the lady Becky from the Gym/office department(s) and she was simply incredible, outstanding and pure metaphorical gold. I'm only writing this review because I think that she was so good - I hope that this review mention attempt helps Becky out with things at work. The men on shift (sorry for not being 100% sure about their names) were also good to me. Marc Rose from the gym team has also in general been great to me during my time in the gym during the Bodyworks gym years. Thank you! Raza =)

I've just joined on a platinum membership at just under £10 per week. I've used the extensive gym, enjoyed an excellent spin class and relaxed in the spa. I've yet to use the large swimming pools. It's not quite as plush surroundings as some of the more "upmarket" local health clubs but the equipment is excellent and everything works. I am very pleased I chose it.

Great gym, great staff, great price for the value. Lots of equipement and room, healthy vibe in the gym, nobody seems to judge you or make you feel uncomfortable. Only thing that lets this place down is narrow parking spaces, when it's extremely busy on the weekens.

Went to the spa on a free trial session. It was good but quite basic and a little bit dilapidated and grubby. The gym looked fairly decent.

Spoken to like a child. Doors hanging off lockers. Changing cubicles dirty, holes in walls and spa not not even ready for 10 as timed booked. Would taken 30min for saunas to heat up and that's in a hour time slot due to covid.

It's a shame I need to drive out of area to take my daughter swimming, but last week took her to bracknell leisure centre and its filthy. Visible black dirt around the edges, broken tiles at the steps. A screen pulled down by the kids pool looks disgusting...in total need of a facelift and some decent maintenance. Took her to the new Braywick today and was actually cheaper!

What a joke! Got Platinum and it was the worst decision. After they took my money Everyone Active started to cut my options. Get 12 months of the price of 10, they say, and after that you can't freeze your account for a day! This is robbery!

I just received an infuriating no reply Email from everyone active scolding me for not attending a booking when in fact I did attend and the turnstiles were not working and therefore my card could not be read. Highly unprofessional

Pool is always closed to the public don't bother signing up for monthly memberships as you are paying for nothing. P.S It's actually impossible to get your head around the pool closures due to the frequency of the closures every week.

I signed up my daughter for their swimming lesson. She completed stage 1, and received her stage 1 completion certificate. And Week after, my daughter started stage 2, the new teacher - very unprofessional, decided to “Degrade” my daughter back to stage one! Despite all the effort we (parents) has to change our schedules to accommodate the new timeslot for new stage classes. I like their swim manager who responded to me to ensure the swim teachers will allow a few sessions for new stage learner to catch up with rest of the group. I hope this kind of incident won’t be happened again. Last, their Friday after school sessions are over-booked. there is not enough room to sit, and not enough changing room, and a long queue to get a shower!

Last weekend the pool was booked out for a special event and not allowed to swim, this weekend the pool was closed due to a children's swimming event and next weekend it's closed again. Friday morning was also closed and had to wait and queue until 10.30am for it to re-open. This happens all the time and I am not receiving the service or facilities I or other members are paying for.The main pool has been closed for the last few days and it seems to be closed due to some excuse on a regular basis. I don't mind kids using the pool for lessons, but it should not mean closing the swimming for the rest of the public, especially when these kids do swimming during school hours it's just not right. It is a waste of my monthly subscription to not be able to use most of the service consistently and it is inconvenient to use a different site.

When we arrived the changing rooms and floors were filthy. Clearly hadn't been for hours. The pool itself was dirty too. The supposedly tiles that many walk on had brown and black water, grime between the tiles, and the little kids changing section was filthy too. We then got told by the lifeguard that all pools closing due to swimming classes, absolutely strange business sense for a weekend lots of unhappy and fed up customers who wanted a weekend swim. Some of the older swimmers said they pay every month and they are cancelling payments. Enough is enough. One woman was in tears and said this happens all the time even during the week and she didn't drive so going elsewhere was difficult due to no public transport. One parent confirmed her kids go every weekend but they also get to swim at school and they only exclusively open all the pools for kids but close them for public swimming, well jeez thanks Bracknell Leisure Centre, stuff the public we'll just stay at home then and gorge on cream cakes whilst you get our monthly payments for absolutely nothing. So instead of swimming we stood in the showers that were were cold and dirty, floors throughout changing area were so filthy they made me feel physically sick. I spoke to the staff when leaving and complained and was told to email and get a refund. I showed them the filthy changing area and pool and they agreed it was not acceptable. Whilst I was showing him around another family pulled him to complain about the dirty conditions too and said they also wanted their money back. I definitely would not recommend this Leisure Centre to anybody, especially if you travel far, because clearly they don't give a stuff about the public or members who pay every month, all they seem to care about is classes so chances are you will turn up and the pool will be closed. Confusing notices stuck up on walls all over telling people when the next pool closures was happening some was even entire days for professional swimmers. What a bloody joke! You clearly are not making job public active are you? Absolutely disgusting place which needs closing down and deep cleaning. How people aren't ill after being there I don't know but I suspect it's only a matter of time unless management get their act together and get the place thoroughly cleaned and keep the pools open for everyone not the selected fit few.

Pools always closed to the public especially at weekends/Friday Mornings. Not Good!

  • 1/5 Dennis B. 5 years ago on Google
The management is responsible for making sure the pool is well-run and to keep 'Everyone Active'. I’m not going to join in the ‘everything’s rubbish’ brigade – but the local public are not able to keep active, because you keep shutting the pool almost daily to the public. Swimmers thought this would change under the new ownership, its just getting worse and entire days all pools are closed in the run up to Christmas. Just get it fixed!

  • 1/5 Steve S. 3 years ago on Google

I have found it very disapointing to turn up with a large family to find the pools closed yet again due to swimming events (this happens all the time). Coming from Hertfordshire with many of the leisure centres having just one pool, they always left a few lanes free for the public to use. I, and my husband was considering becoming members. Not anymore.

A very good facility, from reception staff to the cafe. All staff very friendly and helpful. The body balance classes taken by Claire are really well done. The sauna has great facilities. Although built years ago, when items fail they are repaired promptly and given there's two of most facilities, one always works. Sauna morning manager, the only time l attend, does a very thorough job and is very good with customers.

  • 4/5 William S. 1 year ago on Google
Only four stars since l can't comment on the exercise facilities given l only accompany my partner, who is a member, but l don't use the leisure facilities. All staff are conspicuously friendly and helpful, which was especially apparent when my partner had car trouble. The cafe staff are unfailingly polite and efficient; they make all visitors feel very welcome.

Cold middle swimming pool and the baby pool is STILL closed after COVID so you have no choice but to go in colder middle pool after half an hour we had to leave as our young grandson was cold temperature for children needs to be at least 31 degrees and I was told the pool is only 26 degrees but it felt much colder changing rooms and shower area not much warmer swimming pools need refurbishing they are the same pools from over 30 years ago filthy and disgusting with brown stains on bottom of pool and the steps into pool need updating too it does not look or smell very clean won’t be going back again

  • 2/5 Lorraine C. 11 months ago on Google
Pools are filthy & the 1hr times lots make the pools & changing rooms really busy, you have to queue for showers & cubicles. You used to be able to pay & swim for as long as you wanted but since covid, EA have obviously decided the hour slots are a money spinner - they charge more for less time! It's gone downhill a lot since EA took over!

Recently signed up to become a member on short-term bases. This was all explained to the young staff member when signing up. He explains i can pay the first and last month in advance and cancel before any payments should come out. Paying £60 there and then. Having used the gym four times in this two-week period. Upon trying to cancel I got two automatic email replies. I called the gym three times over three days being told someone from membership will call me back. They did not. To then see £82 taken from my account ( my membership i had signed up for was £50). after calling AGAIN, and finally speaking to someone being told ' it's not my fault you got told the wrong thing' and having to ask for it to be refunded with a blunt ' we will not be doing that'. So now i am £140 out of pocket for absolutely nothing. Terrible customer service and it terrible that you are blaming your paying customers when you should be training your staff to a basic standard.

Visited here on Saturday for a finescale model railway exhibition. Layout is fine, and café facilities are good enough. Warning: Upstairs gents toilet facility a bit tight especially if you have to use the cubicle. It is virtually impossible to swing the door open/shut without coming in contact with the toilet bowl, so beware!

Leisure centre is in need of repair / modernization, gym needs more variety in machines now bodyzone has closed, very over crowded with groups of school children gathering cluttering up work out areas. Pro is parking is free but can be very busy to get a space. Good monthly price compared to gyms in the immediate area.

Very helpful reception staff and overall a great experience. Excellent warm up pool and the main pool was set at the ideal race temperature. Good cafe area, although the serving counter is way too small when busy. Very clean toilet facilities. Individual changing cubicles would be preferable.

We come here for my 2 year old son's swimming lessons. Changing rooms and swimming pools are lovely and warm, very accommodating for little ones with images around the walls and ceilings of the pool (encourages them to lie on their backs while swimming). Our teacher Jane is fantastic - she is kind and patient and has massively helped improve our water confidence over the past few months. Really good value lessons - love that we can come any time in addition to our weekly lesson for free. Only downside (hence four stars) is that at the weekend the pool can get rowdy with other children and the changing rooms are often in a very shoddy state, so would not recommend to visit at this time with very young children but otherwise it's great!

This has had a new refurbishment and looks fairly nice now! I think the staff are very pleasant indeed, the gym instructors are excellent and very helpful in my opinion.however I do feel that ever since everyone active has taken over it is almost impossible to book the classes you want, mainly in the evening as they are completely full to the max and can only hold so many people in each room. This has been the case for quite some months now and when I look to book online most of the classes in the evening are booked up weeks in advance so you are unable to book yourself on for weeks! Unfortunately the days I can’t get booked on to classes I like.I’m having to go elsewhere to find another class when I’m not able to get on to any at sports centre as I need/love exercise. So all in all as long as you have a back up plan for the times you can’t get on a class that suits you and are okay with it, then it can work, I am a pay and go customer so don’t mind?

The only reason this place has got 1 star is because you have to give one but dont be fooled. My son started swimming lessons last August according to the membership you should get a swim cap which I am still waiting for (i wasnt really bothered initially however with the poor service i have received i would like to highlight this too). According to information on sign up we will receive progress reports on the app, it is now March and I am yet to receive any update on progress etc. Lessons never start on time and in a 30 minute session they probably spend around 20minutes of that standing around in the water. I'm aware some children need extra support however seeing children being given 1-1 time at the expense of my sons learning is really frustrating especially when he hasn't been given any and also struggles. I finally went to the membership office after a swimming lesson last week were I spoke to the duty manager of the leisure centre who assured me he would pass my details on to Jenny the swimming lessons manager and low and behold I amd still waiting a week later for this call. Absolutely terrible service and I will be ending sessions as of this mont^. I took my son for 1-1 sessions with swim expert which gave him a lot more confidence and consolidation of what he had been taught here but not necessarily given enough time to practice and build on. For the extra money it is much more beneficial than a money grabbing leisure centre who does not care about unhappy members yet want to increase the price. You can give it a face lift on the outside but that will not make it any more welcoming when you have unsympathetic and incapable staff. Oh and did I mention the states of the changing rooms absolutely disgusting and stink of urine.

Black chewing gum all over the floors in the changing rooms been like this since January 2018 absolutely filthy it's hard to avoid especially with bare feet. My wife was informed by the lifeguards all the pools are closed this weekend, this is nothing but bad management and very unfair for the rest of the community who should be given priority over the pool than exclusive swimming teams. Many people work during the week and the only time we have is weekends. Luckily I don't pay monthly or I would be cancelling without delay.

The only good thing now at Bracknell Leisure Center is the Bodywork's and bodybuilding gym. Since they have switched over to everyone active, prices have only increased and the quality of lessons decreased. I used to have an e+ membership but as soon as they switched to everyone active it got cancelled without me realizing and I had to re-do all of my health application sheets. The swimming lessons are great however when booking them the staff at reception don't actually know how to properly book people into sessions. Reception is extremely understaffed, and while the workers are all friendly and welcoming, they need to hire more people as there are often large queues. Sometimes the system can be very disorganized, i was once asked to come back and pay after my session. The staff are all very helpful though, there just aren't enough. The swimming pools are very good, not much to do compared to other pools but if you want to just swim then they are very good for that. Recently they introduced a swimming only membership which is a very good idea in my opinion because that is one of the main uses of the center. They have a very good creche, with lovely people in charge, i highly recommend. There are also many activities you can do, including badminton, ballet, gymnastics, and athletics. There is a soft play center, woosh, which is a bit of a let down for quality but still very popular for children who don't know what quality is.

So yes they've had a major refurbishment however they seem to have a serious staffing resources issue. As a result they are not able to open the baby pool or the full training pool at weekends. The management at this pool/ Leisure Centre seriously need to go on a customer excellence program

Used the gym today, where are the staff gone, one guy manning the desk, then he went off to mop the floor. With all the renovation work going on are we the customer expected to foot the bill for all these works, if the prices go up again I'm off, there are better gyms in the town centre.

I am writing this review on behalf of my son. Why should he have to share a tiny changing room with other men, but women get individual cubicles to themselves. Why can't one side be for women and the other side for men? Some men don't want to see other mens c**ks nor does all men feel comfortable with it. This is total discrimination that women are getting better changing facilities and privacy, it's wrong and needs to be dealt with. When my son gets home his feet are black with dirt, I have personally seen the state of the floors in the changing rooms and they are stained with years of dirt and chewing gum. How does the management think it's ok for bare feet to touch gum that's been chewed? It would cost just a few hundred pounds to get a proper deep clean done, instead of getting lifeguards to do it, why not just employ a on-duty cleaner to clean throughout the day's, leave the lifeguards to lifeguard and employ a proper cleaner. Finally many times my son has come home very upset that the pool was closed due to private swimming lessons, this is not acceptable when me and my husband work hard to pay his direct debit for the main reason he has joined. Swimming lessons, groups, galas and other events should always come second and put the public swimming first. Not once have I personally seen a manager and they do not respond to feedback left online, not a single customer suggestion form it's just like they are not bothered. Either you start listening and acting to feedback like mine or your centre will fail. The days Bracknell Leisure Centre had a monopoly in the area are long gone.

Visited today after completion of some of the building works, namely the new gym. What a shambles, no one manning the desk, had to ask another gym user where the lockers were, he told me that the old lockers were still in use, but I had to walk around to the other side of the gym, with no signposting at all. Couldn't get into the gym that side as the sliding door was broken, then to cap it all off, the really good workout machines that the old Bodyworks had, have been replaced by cheap rubbish, what did Everyone Active get them as a job lot. After seven years I'm leaving, just mirrors the state this country is in!!!!

What is the point of refurbishing the changing room area if you are simply not going to keep things clean and safe. Currently the floors are a health and safety risk to human health, black filthy water all over the changing rooms. It was like this for three hours when me and my family used the facilities. Human hair all over floor including pubic hair, tampons dumped, the toilets had excrement all over toilet seats and urine splashed all over, tampax with blood on the floors in large piles of used toilet roll. For crying out loud why don't you just employ a permanent cleaner to work during the operation hours to keep on top of things, I'm sure paying someone £7-£8 an hour to clean would sort out many of the negative reviews, keep customers happy and will encourage new customers to keep coming back. I do not want my children standing on dirty water nor stepping on a tampon full of blood or sitting on people's excrement when using the toilet. I've also noticed a strong smell of sewage coming from the drains around the pool which absolutely stink, this is not everyday but at least once or twice per week. Although I like the new gym it's clear they have severe staff shortages, I have never seen staff wiping and cleaning machines I have been at this gym for 3 years now (they must be absolutely full of germs and bacteria) again if you had a on-duty cleaner this could be apart of the regular cleaning schedule. It would also be nice to hear different music in the gym, the same old tracks have been playing for months now the same 10 tracks on repeat is driving us mad!. How about a good variety of decent classic dance music? The lifeguards do a fantastic job and extremely professional at keeping customers safe in the water, lifeguards should be to guard our lives not for cleaning duties. Most of the reception staff are friendly and welcoming, apart from the odd one or two that find it hard to deal with pressure. If things do not improve with the cleanliness I will continue posting images for the public to see including alerting the relevant departments who deal with public safety. I'm sure these images will allow potential new customers to make a decision to use Bracknell Leisure Centre or not. It's now time you took our reviews across the web including social media seriously, urgently recruiting a cleaner to patrol these areas I have highlighted will make a positive difference.

The pools are pretty good, staff knowledgeable, but it shocks me that in 2019 they have only one shower facility which is shared by men, women and kids alike. Really??? And how are we expected to wash out the chloride ? Just impossible! So it's to go there, do your thing, dry yourself and put on something which does not mind the chloride and stains, drive home, and start again. It would be so easy to fix, but it feels to me that there is no will to think or act.

Bracknell Sports centre is a place for where people can go and enjoy themselves by doing activities. Such as swimming ?, running ?, tennis ? badminton ? and much more. It has a outdoor all weather running ? track. There is plenty of parking ?, plus ➕ disabled ♿ parking spaces as well. Also there plenty of public ⛣ transport that goes by the sports centre, also a train ? station ? near by. Staff are very helpful and they will always help you out with any of your problems big or small.
