i was recommended to buy this product (Gujiya) by cashier (owner's wife) to buy it while i was checking out. when i opened the package (same day)it was all bad, after calling the store they agreed to take it back, i was not able to go back soon enough, when i went back, she refused to take it back saying @if you would have come sooner then i would have refunded you" what dose it matter soon or late... it has been bad since the day i opened the package, and she knew about it... well they lost my business for sure and hopefully some more with the poor products they keep.

One of the best Indian grocery stores in the area and that I’ve ever been to. It is clean, the store is well organized, the staff and owners are the nicest people. Items are reasonably priced, and wonderful quality. And the best part of this already amazing store: the samosas. They make the best samosas I have ever had, and I have had a fair few. I cannot recommend them enough

I visited the store on November 29th around 4. The lady (she said her name is Priya) was so rude. She discriminated me when i asked where is the trash can to throw my finish plastic water bottle. It was clear and empty. She said i will have to throw somewhere outside. I never felt discrimination until today. I will definitely take an action. If you the owner, you should report this.

In Troy, this is one of my favorite India grocery store. It is very clean and well maintained. The owner and staff are very friendly. The best thing about this shop is you not only get fresh vegetables here but also yummy Indian Chaats. My favorite is the Samosa Chaat. Another favorite item is the freshly made sugarcane juice. Frozen food brands are also available here.

Only Thumbs up with this store is it looks clean but this is the most expensive store i have ever visited so far. I visited for purchasing Ganesh Murthy which was priced for $25 and all other minimal quantity pooja items were costed me $30 and he refused to share itemized bill. So i went to other store which costed me $30 all together. Overall i felt this store is for premium customers.

Love their food counter for quick hot appetizers and fresh coconut water. Very reasonably priced and just a few plates will fill you up. The samosas are very large. It's a supermarket as well. Super friendly owners and we love to support family run businesses.

One of the most cleanest and well organized Indian grocery store. I was impressed with their inventory of snacks as well as all the spice mixes. Also, the staff is very friendly & helpful. They do have really good Indian snacks and chaats (Indian savoury street food) too. A must visit. Keep Up the Good Work Subzi Mandi team !! 😇😇

I recently had the pleasure of trying the Indian Samosas from the store, and I must say, they were absolutely fantastic! The flavors and quality of these savory treats truly exceeded my expectations. Each bite was a delightful explosion of spices and textures that left me craving for more. The samosas were perfectly golden and crispy on the outside, while the filling was flavorful and well-balanced. The combination of potatoes, peas, and aromatic spices created a harmonious blend of tastes that was simply irresistible. It was evident that the samosas were made with care and attention to detail, resulting in a delightful culinary experience. From the moment I stepped foot inside, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and more than happy to assist me in choosing the right samosas and other delicacies from their extensive menu. They took the time to explain the ingredients and recommended some other popular items, which was greatly appreciated. The variety of snacks and Indian sweets available in the store was impressive. Alongside the samosas, they had a wide range of delectable options such as pakoras, chutneys, and an assortment of traditional Indian desserts. It was a true paradise for anyone seeking an authentic Indian culinary experience. To top it all off, the prices were reasonable, considering the quality and taste of the samosas. The portions were generous, making it a great value for money. Whether you're a fan of Indian cuisine or someone looking to explore new flavours, I highly recommend visiting this store to indulge in their mouth-watering samosas and other delightful treats.

The service is always phenomenally friendly, they always have everything I could need, and the staff recommendations are consistently on point. Ignore all the copy-paste hater reviews because this store is a local gem.

Awesome! Very clean, well organized and decent prices. The cashier was so nice to me and talked with me about different flours and how to make one of my favorites without flour. I was highly impressed with the selection and how nice the cashier was! I dont live in the area, but if I did I'd be a regular for sure. Next time I'm the area tho, I'll be stopping by!

My girlfriend and I had a great experience at this grocery store. We have recently just got into Indian cooking. The owner was very friendly and assisted us in getting the right ingredients for the dishes we wanted to make. They were both economical and quality suggestions. I would highly recommend stopping by.

This is one of our favorite stores on the planet! Incredibly friendly proprietors who not only offer great products but excellent advice on how to cook them. Amazing samosas and chapati fresh daily. We so appreciate this store.

Visited the store for the first time with little to no knowledge of Indian cuisine/grocery. The gentleman and lady at the register were so helpful and gave great advice for beginners. We got two fresh Samosa’s from the front case. Wish we had more! They flavor of the potatoes and seasoning along with the buttery and flaky pastry/dough was amazing. Will be back very soon to get more and experience more Indian cuisine.

Nice store but samosa in chat was very old, smelly and spoiled. Throwing up, hopefully is it and don't get sick too. Ragda Patties was okay.

An absolute gem! Was delighted to find the hard-to-find items of the subcontinent (like Limca in a glass bottle! and Lime or Mango HOT pickle! ) and was given kind service with a smile! The prices are great, too. Five Stars!
