    This location was clean, sanitized and well organized. The staff was friendly and approachable answering any questions you may have. Came in to order a new knee brace. Got measured for it and was told how the brace would function. Everything was flowed well and wait time was just a few minutes. Not bad at all for a Monday.

    Please DO NOT use Binson’s for any ordering of special equipment such as wheelchairs, beds, bathroom safety equipment. I have never experienced such poor customer service. When you need equipment like this it is obviously a serious situation; not like you’re ordering a pair of pants. First they put you on hold for a long time ie one hour, you give them info expecting a call back. No one calls. You call again only to be put on hold. This next representative was helpful. Took my credit card and emailed me invoice. (His script came in to them for Medicare but they did not reimburse me. ) I called her the next day to confirm delivery. No response. No one from delivery called either to confirm and I was told they would between 9:30-10:00am. Called main number again, put on hold and spoke to a third representative who recognized my complete panic. Said she talked to Supervisor and my items were on the truck. John called me at a Noon said he would be there by 6:00pm. He arrived and one of the items was missing. He had an incorrect invoice. My husband could not come home from hospital without this third item. He said he would deliver the item the next morning only to show up with something that wasn’t what I ordered and didn’t work. John was trying to be helpful. My son had to drive 20 miles to purchase it at another company one hour before they released my husband. No one from Binson’s has called to apologize, provide reimbursement- nothing. The entire process was a debacle. Do not use them.

    This location is unhelpful. No one seems able to answer questions, and the respiratory department is apparently unreachable and no one will speak to you about them. We came in, signed in, and we're left for 45 minutes without acknowledgement by any employees, with the exception of everyone saying they "aren't Respiratory" and couldn't help. The same Respiratory employees also don't answer the phone or return phone calls.

    I needed a carpal tunnel brace the customer service was horrible. I was already in a lot of pain waiting in the waiting area for them to call me until I had to go up to the counter and ask to be waited on they checked on my insurance and I had to pay out-of-pocket I wanted to try on a couple braces to see the difference. Like they were so rude didn’t even want to help me and I asked to try them on they had an issue with it horrible service I didn’t like the way they talk to me either. I will never go back people come there because they’re in pain and they need some help. They should be more helpful.!

    I was pregnant and walked in with a prescription for compression stockings. One of the staff members took my insurance card and told me she will call them to check for coverage. After waiting for at least 20 minutes, she comes back to tell me that I have coverage and I might be billed for a copay later. I took the 2 pairs of stockings and receive a bill from Binson’s months later with a request to pay full price about $90!! My appeal to this bill was denied by my insurance because they did not cover this service at all. If the staff member wasn’t so incompetent and communicated to me properly, all of this could have been avoided. It turns out that they only take your insurance card to see if you have active insurance. So now I am stuck with a bill for almost $90 for 2 pairs of compression stockings that I didn’t need to rush to buy. Had I known they only check for active insurance and that my insurance does not cover this type of medical equipment, I wouldn’t have gotten them to begin with. Do your homework and double check people’s work. Always.

    Such disappointing customer service. My seven year old son was fitted for orthotics in October. We called a month later to check on the status and learned that they never placed the order. The employee told me they would place the order ASAP. I called back three weeks later to check on the status and was told that THEY STILL HADNT PLACED THE ORDER. Meanwhile my son is in pain every day. Extremely frustrating.

    I wish i could give less than one star. Never have i dealt with such an incompetent business. OVER a year to get a CPap billed correctly because they "never received" the faxes. I wish this was a one incident thing but it's happened time after time. As soon as my insurance allowed we switched to hart medical. Super fast and so nice to work with. RUN from binsons. They are truly the worst.

    Binsons has the worst phone system I have ever encountered. I have waited an enormous amount of time just to get to a department in Royal Oak. It is absolutely the worst. You first go to a central phone board and wait which takes for ever and then you get transferred to the store and wait and then you wait to go to the department you want.

    Simply the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. I have been trying to get a doctor proscribed appointment with them for 6 weeks. I call and am put on hold to no avail. The rare times I speak to someone, they promise a follow up that never happens. DO NOT USE THEM!!!

    Probably one of the worst locations, bad customer service where they are not helpful for whatsoever or direct patients to what to do. They tell you to wait for someone to get back from lunch in respiratory and then after waiting in the lobby. People are waiting and line up in the lobby, and then they realize they all need to write their names in the little room for respiratory paper. No right attitude or clear directions.

    Edit: This is in regards to both the Centerline and Royal Oak location. It takes a special kind of person to work with customers who are almost always in pain. Whether it's mobility, breathing, or another system, guaranteed a Binson's employee has seen them all. Often those of us who work in healthcare need only to take a look at someone to tell what hurts when they move. I've gotten nothing but friendly, warm service from both the Binson's I've been too. But in follow up conversations on the phone I can almost physically feel them bristling for an attack from me. Why? So I started reading the reviews. I realized a bigger picture is in play- it's their production line. This was confirmed today when I got the call that my scooter was finally fixed. I was a cash paying customer, but they found it was under warranty and told me. Not every business would do that. Kudos for that alone. But I inquired about parts and it was confirmed that we are at the part of the pandemic where a lot of places are running short of things to make and fix thngs. Whether its the thread for your socks, rubber for the gasket in your breathing machine, chips of all makes are not just for cars! As a country that's where we are. So as frustrating as it is, please remember- these people care about and FOR you and it it just as frustrating for them to not be able to do a good job as it is for you to wait. Ask if there is anything YOU can do to help expedite things. And please, be kind. People can break.

    Would give zero stars if I could. Manager has no customer service skills. Refused a full credit on a $30 walking shoe towards a $250 boot. Called it “dirty” despite never being worn. Shop elsewhere.

    I've had nothing but exceptional service from the Royal Oak Binsons. Had to switch over once MedEquip went under - and am very pleased with the friendly customer service Kelly provided. She gave me her email address when I picked up my CPAP and each time I've emailed she has responded super quick.

    Were to begin... I originally went to Binsons Royal Oak as I was in need of orthotics and they were referred to by my foot doctor. After being fitted for custom insoles I was told by their receptionist that my orthotics would be delivered to their store after 2-3 week. Well 2.5 weeks went by and I received a phone call from Binsons RO stating I needed to call them back. I assumed my custom order was in. I tried numerous times to talk with someone from the Royal Oak store but I was either hung up on or passed from one store to another (or possibly their corporate as well). The entire phone system is completely chaotic and in need of updating. After two days of trying to get ahold of someone by phone I came into the store in person after work. Not only were my orthotics not in...but they were never ordered!!! It took Binsons RO 2.5 weeks to call me and tell me that my insurance did not cover the orthotics and I would have to put half down. Against my better judgement I decided to put half down as I was in a great deal of pain and just wanted my order. This was a mistake. Another 2.5 weeks go by and I try again to call and get an update on my order but absolutely no one can help me or get me answers. Once again I am tossed around to leave messages for people to never call me back or I am hung up on or I wait 15 minutes to speak with someone and cant wait any longer and hang up. Finally I cannot take it any more and I request the store manager to contact me. I am assured that I would receive a phone call. 3 days go by and no one bothers to call me. No one at all. I finally had to go to the store in person to complain to get a manager to contact me. I am assured by the manager that it was ordered but just late. Finally 52 days after I was originally fitted for the orthotics I showed up to pick them up. So far I have no issue with the product itself, its just sad that Betterform has partnered with a company like Binsons. But of course it does not stop there. I end up being billed the full price of the orthotics even though I already put half down and was assured that I would only be billed the half I owe. And of course this overdrew my account and I was charged a fee by my bank. I don't know if this was targeted against me for possibly wanting to speak to a manager or just the ineptness or apathy of the employees at Binsons, but from the manager, sales, customer services and billing every department has failed me. In my 40 years on this planet I have never experienced such poor customer service. I advise anyone in need of home medical supplies, do not give Binsons your business.

    Garbage experience. Show up to pick up a piece of equipment, and it's out of stock. Understandable, it happens. They tell me to swing by tomorrow when their driver delivers more stock. Check in before driving over, and "our driver didn't show up, which never happens!" and they're not sure when they'll get a fresh supply. Beaumont Medical is up the road. Much smoother experience. Highly recommend.

    I only put 1 star to leave a review. Walked no greetings, even though there were 2 ladies there to at least acknowledge me as i walked in. I basically had to approach the counter to get any assistance. I was left to pretty much assist myself, even though ....you know what, I should have just went to Walmart and grabbed something off their shelf.

    Vincent the manager was wonderful in getting everything squared away with my father's Sleep Apnea Machine. The upgraded machine is a lot better than the previous. Will definitely come back to this location for more needed medical supplies & products!

    Each time I try to get service, I’ve been prolonged nearly a year each time! And told I’m difficult to contact . While I’m on the call they made to me. No previous calls, made to resolve constant issues and trumped up excuses. I was told there is a lot of issues with the insurance requirements 🤕😏

    I’ve been coming here for CPAP machine items and I’ve got no complaints. Wait times have been reasonable and the staff are friendly enough. Those of you expecting great phone service… these days you need to reset your expectations. Businesses don’t consistently answer the phone, except doctor’s offices. At my work they literally took the land line phones away because nobody was using them.

    I called a different location to see if they accept my insurance and gave them the information and they said yes. I went to this location to pick up a leg scooter and they told me my insurance did not cover it basically without even looking at my card just asking the name of the insurance. The lady was not helpful at all and really act like she really did not want to help. I called my insurance company to confirm and they told me they are in network and it's covered at 100%. Recommended by my doctor to have no weight bearing on my foot so she caused me more unnecessary walking and stress. Good customer service is so hard to find these days.

    I waited a wrights and Philips receiving hospital location for two weeks customer service was sad call Binson’s got their right before closing excellent customer service. Recently received a notification. I could help with a question. The question was in reference to product availability. I called over to Binson’s and they do have a tub transfer kit in store. The price started at $80 dollars . Hope this helps .

    Bad customer care. I returned some oxygen equipment like I was told I had to do only to be called a week after to schedule a pick for equipment I returned as I was told by them @ then when I told person on phone I returned the equipment and the guy who checked it in said it was taken out of my responsibility at that time she asks me what location I took it to when I took it there and what I took back this is after a week had gone by @ then I call billing to find out if I owe anything and I'm told I'm still bing charged for it and this is like 2 weeks after I returned it @ poor business ethics if u ask me.

    The staff does the very best they can for the customer. Unfortunately, I would assume management doesn't make sure there is adequate staffing to handle the business they have within some departments. If you need to call with equipment problems, plan on waiting on hold for minimum of 30 minutes, that has been my experience.

    Hope to never have to return again. For months I had purchased supplies needed for a family member with a doctor's order that included a diagnoses code. Was told last week when I went in for a refill that the diagnoses code was not correct and supplies would not be covered. Apparently staff are not knowledgeable about appropriate insurance billing.

    I absolutely LOVE Binsons in Royal Oak. I am helping to take care of my sister who recently had to have a colostomy. We have been struggling with getting the proper supplies and a myriad of other issues. When I went it to Binsons to purchase more supplies, a woman named DEBBIE assisted me. I was very emotional and sort of crying and she was very kind at talking me through what was needed, and tried to help me the best she could. She even gave me some samples. I felt so much better after leaving there. Customer Service at its finest...and I should know...I run a lab! Thank you!!! Just wanted to add that we are using Binsons, Royal Oak, monthly for my sister's colostomy needs. They have our order ready and I'm out the door in just a few minutes. Every staff member I have dealt with, have been wonderful! Thank you again!!!!

    It's been weeks now waiting on a hospital bed for someone that's not mobile. When I called they said they received the order on the 25th of November. They said that day (10 days later) they needed to fax a paper to the doctor for Insurance. At that point they faxed it but really... It's still not here and took us calling over and over for them to even get to that step. It's a joke. Then they say her insurance don't cover diapers. So after looking in her benefits book from insurance it says they are 100% covered. They don't care to find out. They deliver a broken potty to this same lady that she can't even use yet. 🤦 This place is not trying to do anything and don't really care that she really needs this hospital bed like weeks ago now.

    I called Binsons respiratory Department on 01/25/2021 and spoke to Robert at the Royal Oak, MI location. I informed him that I have a travel Cpap that was giving me an error message. I had already contacted the manufacturer as this is not an insurance covered item. In speaking to the manufacturer customer relations they informed me my equipment was under the 3 year warranty and that all the store had to do was a warranty exchange. In speaking to Robert, he was first very abrasive and derogatory in attitude and tone. I informed him of what was shared with me by the manufacturer he stated he never heard of that and he "was not going to give me anything" . He also stated the my warrany had expired which was not true. I then contacted Binson Corporate office to report Roberts' disrespectful tone and his lack of professionalism displayed within this call. I was assured that my concerns would be addressed. I then received a follow up call from Robert and asked if I an come in 01/28/2021 for an appointment to do my manufacturer warranty exchange. I confirmed the appoitment when arriving there was a podium with a sign to sign in. After 10 min and not being approached, I went to another department and they said he may be in with another customer. He was not ,he and his co-worker were having a personal conversation as I could hear them due to proximity. The receptionist went to tell him I was there ,his response was," who is it and what do they want?" His collegue came to tell me that I can come back to his office. I was presented with a open box with all items listed on the box as contents not present in the box . As I addressed him regarding my concerns about missing items, he said that this is a swap he is not obligated to give me everything packaged in the box. As he raised his voice and huffed and puffed he grabbed an item that should have been included in the box out of his desk and tossed it to me. I brought to his attention again two other items that were not present. He reminded me again that I was not entilted to the items but he will do me a favor and proceeded to go to inventory and bring me 2 more items and toss them across the desk to me. I am apauled that he is allowed to represent the Binsons brand and customer service. Im fully disappointed on the level of service received and resolve that I can no longer utilize the company if this is the representation of expected culture of service that is allowed to be dispalyed.

    They definitely can use more staff so that you can get in and out a little bit quicker because at times it takes quite a while just to get hospital supplies or wound care items. Other than that, they do a good job! 😷

    Staff is rude on the phone and they do not even know which products they carry, just give you brand names but not the actual models or types of product. Then they hang up on you. Definitely won't be buying from here.

    Worst experience I have ever had. I went in to ask a simple question about a Nasal gel for use with CPAP machine and no one can apparently help me. I was told to sign in and and then employees just stared at me. Younger blonde women behind the orthotics & prosthetics desk was super rude when questions were asked. I’m sorry that I’m unfamiliar with how your store works, excuse me for asking for help. If you want a HORRIBLE experience then please go to Binson's on Woodward in Royal Oak. I’d rather drive miles out of my way to go elsewhere.

    I am not sure why I put off getting my CPAP. Well, looking back at when I took the sleep test, it was almost a year before I said, ok, I am getting it. Not really sure why I drug my feet on getting it. But here we are. I am giving only three stars, and here is why. When I called to set up the appointment to get it, I would talk to the operator, and she would transfer me to the store. Unfortunately, it would ring and ring and ring and then hang up on you. Super annoying. I then had to call back, and it happened two more times. Finally, the fourth time the receptionist said she was going to transfer me to a different place. She said they could set up the appointment for the Royal Oak location. I got my appointment set up. So the lady who helped me out, and I am sorry I forgot her name, I tried looking at all the paperwork that I got. The person name who generated my paperwork is not the same person that helped me. She was accommodating in explaining everything to me. Answered all my questions and recommended getting baby wipes to wipe down the mask every morning. she also pointed out that I needed to get distilled water. Other than the phone issue trying to set up everything. My actual appointment was a very positive experience.

    I rarely review but our experience with this business was absolutely horrible. Terrible customer service, poor communication and unbelievable upcharging for products. I found the identical wheelchair online for several hundred dollars less than they wanted to absurdly charge. The best decision I made was finally walking out of the store before agreeing to purchase anything.

    I never write reviews so this must had to be bad. Horrible just horrible customer service. The women that work inside the boutique do not know how to do their job. How did they get even a job there 🤦🏽‍♀️ the manager Davina ordered me the wrong size support hose. I had to wait like 5 months to get the correct size. Idk how she does that. When I've been ordering from them the correct size for years. They never answer the phone nor return voicemail calls. Or they call back days or so later. I had to call corporate to reach them. This will be the last year I deal with them.

    The only reason they do not get 5 stars is because they are not great at getting back to you in a timely manner. You kind of have to keep calling them - which is absolutely annoying. However, whenever I have called with a question or gone in, the staff has been more than helpful. They take their time with you so that the purchase you make is the right one. I was stopped from buying the wrong product and measured for accurate sizing for a knee brace just yesterday. Overall a good experience both yesterday and the other 3 times I have been in over the last month.
