😠 I just left from this urgent care. The nurse and the doctor named Brad V were both so mean. The nurse didn’t want to show any kind of empathy because I told her that I am too scared to get the covid test swab. She said, “I am not gonna do it” with a very mean attitude. Then she did it and left slapp... People often mention care, staff, time, urgent, minutes, appointment, great, visit, Beaumont, desk,

The two young ladies at the front desk were amazing and very friendly. The nurse that did my Covid test was really nice and the physician assistant was down to earth. I really enjoyed how fast the service was. I was in and out within 25 minutes I definitely would urge anyone who needs quick care to visit this urgent care, the staff is amazing if no one has told them today .

Made appointment 15 minutes before going and had 6 available time slots. Showed up on time Waited 40 minutes. Why have reservations if they are not any where close to reality. Appeared to me you only had one clinician working so you knew the reservation was bogus Confused why I had to complete substantial information that was already in my Epic Chart Why wasn’t that information used? Looked to be a lot of it was about making sure you got paid and not patient information. Clinician was great. I would give her 5 stars.

The covid tests are better because they no longer stick it like half the way up your nose. Now they don't and the staff and services they provide are awesome. We just left, but urgent care- you guys rock. Written by Alex, age 11.

Updated per a second recent visit; overall helpful staff and nice facility. Doctor/Nurse folks were polite and respectful. On my first visit some months back there were a bunch of shenanigans I wasn't thrilled about (including a 40 minute wait to see someone despite no other patients being in the building at the time), so I'm docking a couple stars.

The staff here are the best of all the Beaumont Urgent Care by WellStreet locations we have visited. They were very busy during the height of each COVID peak, especially during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays in 2021. They still greeted my family with a smile and turned test results around quickly. With the new online reservations system it was easy to make appointments for the same day or next day and we were in and out in 5 minutes. Results were available in less than 30 minutes. They were also happy to print the results for us for travel.

I had a great experience at this urgent care. It is really clean and they provide excellent customer service. The doctor was through and listened to my concerns. I would definitely recommend this business.

Came here today for the standard tests for covid, strep and flu. This was the best experience I have had so far. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff with great personalities. Pam at the front desk helped get my appt switched (I registered for W Bloomfield by accident). The woman (whose name escapes me, smaller woman with lots of energy!) was super helpful to get all my tests right away. I’m thankful this is so close to my home. Definite improvement since the last time I was here.

My 97 year old mom had an ear ache at 7:30 pm Sunday night. They got us in and registered quickly. We saw the Doctor. She had an ear infection and we went to the drugstore and got antibiotics. The staff was kind and helpful. The doctor had a friendly and professional demeanor. I would recommend this urgent care. Don Petersen

This is my one and only review (I don't review typically), but I felt so strongly about the substandard level of care, I had to post. After an hour-long wait to be seen, no manual blood pressure was performed even once I requested it. BP machines are notoriously inaccurate. The PA was concerned about a low heart rate, so much so she checked with the doctor and I was referred to the ER, but noone performed a manual BP. The reason given was the right cuff wasn't available and they were closing. This is beyond unbelievable. I have two MD's in my immediate family and each agreed this is well below standard care. Being ill-equipped to take accurate vitals, like performing a manual BP means they're likely not equipped to care for patients. Also, it's not a diner. Calling people terms of endearment is not professional in any circumstance, but very inappropriate here. I'm so confused about why someone with any level of education would use terms like hun, babe etc to refer to perfect strangers who are your patients. The PA also interrupted repeatedly, but I don't think she meant to be rude. A little training could fix that. If you just need a standard test (flu, covid) fine. Beyond that, I'd try a different urgent care.

This was my first time visit on recommendation of a neighbor. The nurses and doctors cleaned and dressed an abrasion. They looked at by Beaumont chart and saw that I was due for a tetanus shot, which they administered and updated my chart. Being able to visit multiple facilities and keep one chart is a great benefit of this urgent care facility. The facility was new, clean and the everyone was cheerful and helpful. I would use this facility again and recommend it to others.

Usually I see an after visit summary on mychart. This time only technical lab results with no diagnosis appeared. I called to get clarification if there was an infection and after talking with someone who was checking, was disconnected. I tried calling back and could not reach a live person, nor did they call back. Not a great experience this time. I have gone in the past and had a good experience. Just depends on who is working at the time I suppose. Please put after visit summary in layman’s terms on mychart.

Process was very smooth when I did the appointment and paperwork online. I did have to wait about 40 minutes despite having an appointment. But the staff were great and efficient once I got back to the exam room.

I made my appointment and filled out all the paper work on time. I got I quickly. The office and medical staff were excellent. The electronically submitted my prescriptions so by the time I got to the pharmacy, they were ready. I was home in less than an hour. I am grateful for center's like Beaumont. I know it would have been impossible to get into my primary care physician in such a timely basis.

Had a nail puncture in my head from an attic ceiling nail it was Sunday. Was treated pretty quickly and given a tetanus shot Grateful to have BUC in our neighborhood. I would have been hours in an emergency room. Very satisfied with treatment.

Too long I was there on a busy day. I was there at the request of a Beaumont employee, the PA from Beaumont Urgent Care in Bloomfield. He urged me to come. It was not necessary but since he was so adamant I went. I fell on the curb and hurt my knee. My blood pressure soared. I was happy that the staff realized by my general state of health that I did not need to be admitted. The staff at the hospital is outstanding but I am not happy that I got there on a busy day.

Walk in patient and I was given a time slot for 15 minutes later which was great but I was not seen until 45 minutes after my appointment slot. Office was not busy enough to be this delayed. They could have offered me a later appointment instead of waiting this long. After waiting I was sent an email saying my appointment was moved 30 minutes later. The receptionist could not even tell me that and still waiting

Quite honestly I was über surprised at how fast and efficient this Urgent Care is. I needed a pre-surgical covid test, and was immediately taken in for the consult and testing, two afters after which the results were posted on my Beaumont Record site. VERY Impressed! Five Stars!!

Presented with what I thought was a bad cold, turned out to be pneumonia; chest x-ray confirmed. Visit was long because of x-ray process and confirmation, ordering Rx’s, etc. but everyone involved from reception to Physician’s Assistant was competent, courteous and professional. Medical care has become a luxury today because there are too few practitioners versus high patient demand. I was fortunate to have been given great care last Saturday which may have actually saved my life.

We had a wonderful experience with our sick kiddo. The staff was very friendly and took very good care of us. We were in and out within 15 minutes. It was nice we could schedule an appointment ahead of time . Thank you so much!

Went in for stomach pains and registered for a time slot 30 mins out. Front desk staff entered name wrong in the system despite providing printed details in writing. After 45 mins of waiting still had two patients waiting to be seen before me. The person at the front desk had no idea of how long it would take. Evidently one doctor on call but no other staff in sight. Why give an appointment when there is no accountability for time? Complete waste of time!

This urgent care was beyond fantastic! Kind, professional, helpful, thorough- they got me my COVID results in under an hour. Most especially I want to shout out the medical assistant Renita, because she really made my experience so pleasant and comfortable! Thanks again Renita!!

Friendly, professional staff provide 2-hour PCR COVID testing. This time we did not have an appointment, but we were still able to get tested within 15 minutes. Highly recommend this Beaumont urgent care location.

The urgent care needs to get a better check in system. Unorganized at its best. The portal was working and it’s clean and the docs are good but they need to polish up on front desk… very nice staff but needs organizing

The entire team was attentive and professional. The provider Eileen handled my injury with great care. She was gentle and informative. Her assistant Paris and Tya at the front desk we great too. If I ever need urgent care again this location will be my choice.

I just left from this urgent care. The nurse and the doctor named Brad V were both so mean. The nurse didn’t want to show any kind of empathy because I told her that I am too scared to get the covid test swab. She said, “I am not gonna do it” with a very mean attitude. Then she did it and left slapping the door. I'm not sure about this doctor or PA because he didn't introduce himself. He was very quick and wanted to get done as soon as possible. He only asked me what my worst symptom was, ignoring the other symptoms. After they were done testing, I wanted to know what the best course of action was when I fainted approximately a week ago, so I asked him this question. He arrogantly answered, "Are you here for the sore throat or fainting?" I said "I am just asking you a question?" He did not ask me if I had any questions, nor did he allow me to explain all of my symptoms. Since he wanted to be done, I did not tell him that I had congestion and was having trouble breathing. He said, “take Motrin for pain”. I told him it didn’t work with me. Then he argued about steroids and pregnancy, and he didn’t prescribe anything for pain after all!! Then I asked him if he can prescribe me an antiviral, he said I gave you antibiotic. I am wondering if that doctor knows the difference between the antibiotic and the antiviral! I felt uncomfortable and got shut down many times and I just left the place with a lot of frustration and without a treatment.

Super easy check in-I came in as a walk in because my general practitioner didn’t have any openings. They were thorough and I walked out with a summary of the visit and everything in under an hour! Super impressed! My prescriptions were ready for pickup by the time I got to my pharmacy following my appointment. I definitely recommend this urgent care!
