    Every single experience I've had here was wonderful, they'd deserve a 5 star review but like every single pet store Ive been to that sells betas they torture and abuse those fish. They're stored in containers less than 1/10 the size they should be and most of them are so abused they won't even float, they just chill at the bottom of their jar until they eventually die.

    My dog has been going there for years with no problem until recently. I scheduled an appointment for her and my new puppy. Called today to confirm the time, they telling me I only scheduled one when I know that was a lie. Then when my daughter took the one dog that has been going for years, they tell her, someone cancelled my dogs appointment and said she wasn’t feeling well. A total lie. My daughter wasted gas and time. I dont know if they got new staff that don’t want to work or what but I’m done with Pet Smart.

    Wide, clean aisles. Clearly market product. Good service. Was asked if I needed help. Was there for a large bone. Got one. For this big chewer. It was gone in an hour. Easy in and out. Good parking.

    The worst! My grooming appointment was at 3:30, Pet Smart called me at 1:41 & said I could bring her early. I got there at 2:04 & it’s 7:38 and she’s still not done. They have had her for over 5 hours. This is not the first time this has happened at this Pet Smart.

    Today was my first PetSmart experience. WOW. The store was clean and inviting, I was very promptly and professionally greeted, and attended to through every step of the experience. I had countless questions answered and I left looking forward to my next visit! I can't recall my attendants name but she went above and beyond to make my experience awesome! Thank you PetSmart! FYI there are pictures of the aquarium and items I purchased this visit. Added updated picture at about two weeks, so far everything is great!

    I went in with my dog 🐕 for food and toys and Mariah was so helpful! She was friendly with me and my dog, gave me advice and showed me where everything I needed was. I will definitely be coming here more often for Mariahs help.

    My dog was cut too short and stress. Raven was late to our appointment but she was patient. It took 5 to 6 hours to bathe and cut him

    Great store and they are always busy..... Only down side is that they don't have enough staff with the amount of traffic that they have. I have gone in the store several times and was not able to get help because everyone was with a customer. ~~~UPDATE~~~ 05/01/2023 So I figured I would go back to the store to see if they had any new fish in their displays. Well they did they actually had about five fish I really wanted to buy. BUT JUST LIKE THE LAST TIME I WAS THERE NO ONE CAME TO HELP. I did however receive a greeting as I walked into the store. But While I was admiring the new fish a gentleman (STAFF) was getting crickets but he never returned after seeing me in that area. My oh my oh my I guess I will ring the bell for service...(RING BEEP RING BEEP) waiting and looking and waiting and looking and looking some more. Well I guess I will go to the PET SMART in Dearborn were they assist and not playing and texting on their phones when customers are around.

    They did so awesome with my little old man. He looks amazing! Staff was super friendly. I just have to remember to tell them about the shampoo next time. He had hives from it. Thank you!

    I have a new puppy and wanted suggestions for more natural pet food. The staff was very efficient in sending assistance and the clerk helping me was very knowledgeable, responding to questions, making suggestions, etc. Directed me towards the correct food for the age of my puppy and made additional diet recommendations! Full service!

    Went to have my American Bully's nails buffed. It went well, she's a pro. Lots of questions are asked , and you must show proof of rabies vax. Banfield and Petsmart, aren't connected so records don't transfer over, which kinda sucks. Make sure to pay the groomer directly , and avoid taking the invoice elsewhere (to the cashier) . The groomers all work hard and are pleasant, they deserve every penny and then some. Thanks Jay, Asia, the lady who trimmed my dogs nails (I can't remember her name right now) and the rest of the team! I love looking at the clearance area for markdowns for items I can use.

    I just left Petsmart on telegraph and 12 mile, I took my Chihuahua in to be bathed and have her nails trimmed.I had her vaccination record card with all of her vaccines and her rabies vaccines I took her to a Oak Park mobile clinic to get the remainder of her vaccines a month ago. she’s only a year old The ladies at the front desk at Petsmart said they could not give my Chihuahua a bath or clip her toenails because the mobile clinic I went to didn’t give me a print out sheet from a veterinarians office so they could not help me and they turned me away. So this Bussiness turns down money and then I have a small Chihuahua. Clearly I had her vaccination card and they said the little stickers that were put on her chart could have been fake! Yet the vaccination record chart stickers, had the veterinarians name and phone number and it was dated. don’t waste your time if you have just your dogs vaccination card and not a print out from a veterinarian. I did book my Chihuahua’s appointment today and it was a total inconvenience, the ladies were rude and unprofessional! Thank you! for nothing Petsmart..

    Very unprofessional cat groomer lamaria. I made appointment one month ago ,and she cancelled on me last minute. I rescheduled it for the following Sunday for 10 am!!! . I got there within 15 minutes she canceled on me ,without any communication or notifications after I got there with my cat. Very unprofessional service . No respect for people's time and schedule. They will lose business like mine if they are this bad at customer service . Absolutely stay away !!

    I took my purebred Maltese to the Southfield location for a full bath and cut with a deluxe package. When I picked him up his hair cut looked like someone picked up clippers for the FIRST time and was attempting to learn how to cut hair on my dog. He looked terrible. Parts of his body are naked! And he didn’t look bathed. I called the manager and was told the person cutting my dog was in fact new. I really wish they had alerted me to this before my dog was serviced. Management really needs to make sure their staff know what they are doing before they provide this type of care for paying customers. Rating: Zero stars!

    Christy was so helpful. I needed some recommendations for my dog who is blind due to aging. When I send him to his sitter, he has been peeing indoors which I believe that's him marking his spot so he knows where to sit at. Christy helped with some recommendations and I bought those things so thank you so much!!

    I’ve only been to this location twice (so far) and had a few phone conversations and they’ve been wonderful! The staff here is so helpful and friendly! They have exactly what I needed at a fair price. Would definitely recommend and will be going back! Thank you Southfield PetSmart staff for all you do, I appreciate you!!!

    They take very very care of your pet. When you leave you can make sure your pet is in very good hands. This is the only place I will ever leave my baby Chester. My baby my chihuahua. I score them 100 + 100

    I took my beagador to day camp at this location twice in the past week, and the service was truly excellent. They took great care of my dog, fed her on schedule, and were extremely prompt and helpful with getting her enrolled. We will absolutely return in the future!

    There's a reason I take my 4 legged child there for boarding, grooming and even classes. The staff. I've never walked in without being greeted, even before the registers open. Every staff member on the floor says hello and asks if they can help. The pet hotel crew is absolutely amazing. The dog always comes home happy and exhausted.

    Went to add some fish to my small aquarium. The guy helping me was very Informative and was able to ask questions and help me pick out fish and even a tiny shrimp. Good quality, friendly service.
