The station where The Railway Children was filmed. Quaint, with refreshments available from converted rail trucks. A fascinating station master's office. All beautifully maintained and very photogenic. We travelled on the train used in the film and visited several lovely stations.

A great place and a beautiful station as used in the film The Railway Children. The ride on the steam train was great too then into historical Brontë country Haworth

Although when we arrived it was closed for a private event but the lovely gentleman let us have a little look and explained its history so thank you so much when we came such a long way...

Absolutely magical place. Just like both railway children films. I highly recommend you go. Lovely staff, too. Visit the 3 chimneys cottage and Haworth village. Lots of film locations to see.

I visited during the Ride the Legend Flying Scotsman event. There is lots of space to sit and they sell an amazing ice cream!

I returned to Oakworth to enjoy the period feel of this wonderful station. A "Star" in the very real sense, Oakworth's authenticity as railway structure untouched by the progress of time remains a draw card. Appearances in movies and television programs with a good deal of historical themes make this a dream for creators and audiences alike. Well, mere visitors can experience the magic of Oakworth. I highly recommend a visit and become absorbed with the heritage of a long lost era.

Staff were so approachable and very good ambassadors for your organisation. My disabled mum accompanied me in her wheelchair and the process of getting on and off trains was made so much easier by your friendly very helpful staff taking the anxiety and trauma out of the situation. We had a fab time.a big thank you to all the staff .

Beautiful station. It was like going back in time. The staff were friendly and you can see the care that goes in to maintaining this special place. We enjoyed a coffee whilst watching the trains and taking in the beautiful setting.

Wasn't sure if my autistic granddaughter would appreciate this short trip, but she really did! We had a cooked breakfast in the Parcel Room, and I hope she learnt a few things from the exhibits that hey had.

Reminiscing about the making of The Railway Children, and joining a circular walk out to Haworth and back to rejoin the train

Beautifully kept little station with period features. You can really imagine the Railway Children being here with Mr Perks in attendance! Still a functioning railway station.

Total gem of a place - it's tiny but so worth seeing! We were lucky to have had a long chat with a lovely guy who works there over the weekend and we were the only visitors there at that point so we were able to spend time taking in the lovely atmosphere of the station master's office etc. One of the highlights of our weekend.
