The Livery Rooms - JD Wetherspoon

Restaurant Bar Breakfast restaurant Pub

😐 This may be the best Wetherspoon establishment in England. Especially the breakfast and the staff. This place always seems relatively busy, yet the service is prompt and polite. It always seems clean enough, not too loud or crowded. The breakfast here may solve everything. Sad? Full English Breakfas... People often mention good, service, staff, Wetherspoons,

This may be the best Wetherspoon establishment in England. Especially the breakfast and the staff. This place always seems relatively busy, yet the service is prompt and polite. It always seems clean enough, not too loud or crowded. The breakfast here may solve everything. Sad? Full English Breakfast. Lonely? Full English Breakfast! Hungry, sad and lonely? The only answer is a Spoon's Full English Breakfast! The food was all perfectly cooked and it arrived in what felt like a few minutes. The coffee is ok too! And free refills! For a long time I was put off going to Wetherspoons Pubs, because of the low quality food & drinks and the general lack of atmosphere. Yet I had found a diamond in the rough. This is the exception to the rule. Edit: see my most recent photo, the second one, and you'll see why I changed the rating to be lower. It may be the saddest looking ham & egg & chips I've ever seen.

Popped into Keighley from Skipton by train. Disaster. Were not expecting much but both CAMRA Good Beer Guide pubs were shut til 4.00 as was one Micro bar. The second micro had no beer. Thankfully Spoons came to the rescue. I had an excellent Brown Cow by Bradfield brewery. Lovely building with typical Spoons layout. Very busy for midday. Lots of food. Annoying habit of queuing snake like for service but fair I guess.

Enjoyable Wetherspoons, decent, honest and fair priced! The pub was clean and comfortable, and fairly quick service. Enjoyed my visit. The food was really good.... No complaints.

Ruddy good pub. Fantastic full English breakfast: bacon – ten out of ten, button mushrooms – bingo, black pudding – snap. Minor criticism, more distance between eggs and beans. Maybe I want to mix them up, but I want it to be my decision. Use a sausage as a breakwater. But I peck, overall a very good effort, seven against ten. Even managed to finish off some of a mate’s spare hash browns because I’m a bloody bloke. Bye.

Really nice place, now with a great beer garden and smoking area. Staff were very helpful. Very clean place. It's a real hike up the stairs to the toilets though. The food is nicely done. It can get a bit noisy at times.

I had every good reason to question the young blond girl why she was refusing to serve at 23:45 when I was served on the previous visit time of 23:50 and I agreed with the young man that I would drink up by midnight and I was verbally abused by the young blond girl who accused me of abusing her which is a complete pack of lies and I hope this Wetherspoons is put up for sale along with many other Wetherspoons because the customer service is very poor and the staff are very rude and the food and drink is very poor. I welcome anyone to message me in my email because I will honestly tell you how bad Keighley Wetherspoons really is!

Lovely Wetherspoons with a massive outside area to catch the sun.Meal was great and pint was cold, what's not to like!!! Ramp area in this place makes it easier to access different floor levels for wheelchairs and pushchairs. Pay as stay car park at the rear so no problems with parking.Well worth a visit if your in Keighley or the surrounding area!!!!!

Manager working behind the bar was a proper jobsworth, me and two other girls (all 21) IDed when we sat down, we weren’t planning on drinking anyway and since it’s challenge 25 it wasn’t a problem but you could tell he absolutely LOVED throwing his authority around. However, two gentleman who were both obviously over 25 had sat down next to us, had a drink each with their meal. Halfway through their meals the jobsworth came over, asked for ID (both already halfway through their beverages might I add) and when one of them couldn’t provide ID (because what 25 year old has to carry ID with them to a bloody Wetherspoons?), the jobsworth swiftly took the beverage off of the table and told them to leave because it’s past 9pm. No offer of a refund for the taken drink or anything. Just a typical manager on a power drive. Absolutely disgusting.

It is what it is you know what to expect and that is what you get, a reasonable meal at a reasonable price. The place is always busy. It was a bit messy with tables left uncleared and to be honest it looks a bit tired, but it serves a purpose and the food is good and of a standard.

The app didn't work so I couldn't order. They did not charge me right with the 3 dishes for 14£. Tomato soup was not good.

Great staff as always, it's spoons so the food won't blow your mind but it'll fill a corner while you have a few (cheapest in town ) beers .

First time in there. Very busy. Good atmosphere. Prices good. Staff on the go all the time. Tables cleared in reasonable time. The whole building looks very impressive

The service was good and the staff were polite but the food is bland, the mixed grill was dry and doesn't warrant the cost, the missus pizza was also bland, extremely crispy on the edges and watery in the middle

Great range of different beers. Food good pub standard. Quick service and polite staff. I would have taken photos of the food but it's all gone.

My food was OK. Partners' food was OK until she found a black hair in her salad nasty. Noticed also the portion size has got smaller and seem to cost more

Good choice of beers and great service as always. We sat out in the beer garden on a very sunny day. it was a lovely bright atmosphere and we enjoyed a couple of different ales

Had brunch everything fine apart from some of food a bit on the cold side. But price and drink 5.30 can't go wrong when you're a pensioner. Building as always with Spoons and excellent restoration.

A large example of a pub in this famous chain. It is well located and normally busy. The staff seem to be efficient and I've eaten there many times and found the food well priced and decent quality. The pub is airy and quite ornate and well populated by the locals.

Dining on the leather seating here was very comfortable, where I ate a well-cooked BBQ Chicken Pizza and drank a glass of Pepsi. The table and floors were clean, from which I went up the slick-designed staircase to go to toilets. I could not wash my hands in there because hot water was not coming from the taps and the replacement basin unfortunately did not work for some reason, so I had to use sanitiser to clean my hands.
