I
chose
to
park
here
as
I
was
looking
for
secure
parking
for
a
24h
stay
and
had
previously
used
Park
Bee
(a
couple
of
years
ago),
which
was
a
bit
closer
to
our
hotel,
but
it
seems
that
it's
now
changed
hands
and
doesn't
offer
secure
parking
anymore
(also
the
recent
reviews
didn't
seem
good),
but
I
remembered
walking
past
the
automatic
shutters
on
this
carpark
the
last
time
we
were
in
Liverpool
and
so
I
pre-booked
a
24h
ticket
which
cost
Β£19
(not
cheap),
but
I
wanted
security
over
cost
so
I
went
ahead
and
bought
it.
Although
on
the
website
you
have
to
pick
arrival
and
departure
days/times,
that's
just
to
price
your
ticket.
If
you're
staying
up
to
24h
you
can
arrive
and
depart
at
any
time
so
long
as
it's
not
longer
than
24hrs
(if
you
stay
longer
you'll
get
charged
an
additional
fee).
Upon
arrival
you
just
drive
up
to
the
shutter
and
into
the
carpark
and
take
a
ticket.
The
barcode
on
the
ticket
gets
you
access
to
the
pedestrian
doors
to
re-enter
the
carpark
when
you
return,
and
also
at
the
payment
machines.
If
you
have
prepaid
for
a
ticket
you'll
have
an
email
with
a
barcode
in
it
which
you
scan
at
the
payment
machine
after
putting
in
the
ticket
you
took
when
you
drove
in
and
it
basically
validates
your
ticket,
zeroing
the
balance
to
pay.
The
carpark
itself
is
very
clean
and
well
lit
and
reminded
me
of
some
of
the
airport
parking
structures
I've
used.
It
was
easy
to
find
a
space
and
there
was
plenty
of
room
to
park
a
larger
family
car.
The
true
test
of
a
secure
car
park
is
if
your
car
is
still
there
in
the
morning
and
I'm
happy
to
report
that
mine
hadn't
been
set
on
fire,
didn't
have
any
graffiti
on
it,
and
still
had
all
it's
wheels,
windows,
and
contents
(not
that
I
left
any
valuables
in
it).
So
even
though
it
cost
me
Β£19
for
an
overnight
stay
I
would
park
here
again.
