Had an appointment which I was running late for. I called in and confirmed that I was running late they said it was ok. Drove all the way to Runcorn to Birkenhead because there was no nearer time slot in any store. Arrived to the store only for the lady to tell me that I missed my appointment and have to book a new one! Mind you the store was empty! No one there...they just chose to let a paying customer walk out the door!

I went to Vision express yesterday having been slightly disappointed in the service of my previous opticians. From the moment I stepped through the door I felt as though I was really being listened to & couldn’t have found the staff more friendly or helpful. I would definitely recommend them for anyone who is nervous about changing providers.

Brilliant service from start to finish with Kelly, who explained everything perfectly, then being kept in touch when my glasses would be ready, to receiving a text to say my glasses were ready before the time I was told. Definitely use again

I am very disappointed with Vision Express, the only plus is a large selection of frames at good prices, the quality of workmanship - corrective lenses - a tragedy, I still haven't picked up my glasses( 1 Months waiting!!)I'm very disappointed.

After a mix up regarding a cataract post operative assessment which resulted in a five week delay, the Assistant Manager Mike, took personal control. He offered me the chance to have my eye strength for reading glasses assessed in the interim period and was very professional and friendly. I was then able to buy off the shelf readers at the right strength. I will certainly be going back for my full eye test and new readers once cataracts are removed from both eyes.

Fantastic helpful staff. Dan and Steve were wonderful with my ever so slightly picky daughter. They were patient and gave us great customer service. Much better than we've had in other opticians ... Vision Express for us now !

Arranging a double appointment for myself and my wife was very straight forward. VisionExpress were very accommodating in offering a convenient date and time.

Everyone was friendly and smiling. Vision Express was clean and relaxing, a nice atmosphere.

I had a very thorough eye test, and they worked around my disability with no problem. Over all a very good experience.

Cannot fault the service I received here. All the staff were absolutely amazing! I have to say it was the most helpful and informative eye test and fabulous customer service I’ve ever had, and I’ve been to several places over the years. I moved to the Wirral a year ago and this is definitely my go to place going forward. Just want to say a huge thank you to the staff here you were all brilliant. I will be back! 😊

Beyond helpful and wouldnt go anywhere else. My sons care is always exceptional and the team are always more than helpful,friendly and understanding. My son is adressed by name as soon as he walks into the shop which really makes him feel at ease. Thank you to you all

The staff are very attentive and is always a pleasant experience! They inform you of any offers on frames or lenses when my prescription has changed after an eye test. The new scanners to check the health of your eyes are cutting edge! Fully recommend their professional service and customer experience.

Nothing is every too much trouble for the team here. The manager Michael goes out of his way to make you feel welcome and valued as a customer. I’m mask exempt and during a period in time where many other opticians wouldn’t even see me, Vision Express were fabulous. Thanks again and I always recommend you to others.

Fast and efficient service very polite and pleasant staff

We have for many years gone to vision express, Birkenhead for eye test and new glasses/sunglasses. We don't really shop within Birkenhead any more but have continued traveling there for vision express. Well that is until our recent visit whereby my request for dark brown glasses arrived as grey and my husband's varifocals had to be returned too because of incorrect focus. On a positive note the response received to rectify the issues was very good and we hope when we pick the glasses up that they are what we originally ordered.

There aren't enough stars in the sky to tell you that this is a brilliant and amazing opticians the staff are amazing and nothing is to much trouble I'm autistic and find life hard especially since lockdown but they are caring and a credit to the profession.

I have a chronic condition which can affect my eyes, so the ophthalmologist did a thorough eye health check up on top of the usual eye test for prescription glasses. All the staff were so friendly, warm and helpful. All round brilliant service where staff go above and beyond, and I’m very grateful they provided such thorough eye care. No need to ever go anywhere else for eye care.

Professional and very easy to deal with. My Optician explained everything in an simple to understand way and was very patient with my many questions, taking his time answering each one in excellent detail. The gentleman in the shop also took his time explaining all my options, making me feel better about needing glasses for the first time in my 52 years. I would recommend Vision Express to everyone.

Booked appointment online waited 2 weeks for appointment day to get a phone call telling me the person they have doing the eye tests is qualified but haven't got there licence yet so will have to rearrange. Don't you think getting someone who is fully qualified and licenced would be a good idea? Will never be using this opticians again it's disgusting you have had months and months to hire someone appropriate yet you have probably chose a close friend to do half a job. Its ridiculous. I highly recommend going to the boots less than 100 yards away.

Brill experience, great time considering I had a baby with me, they were very accommodating. Got a great pair of glasses abd sunglasses too.

My first visit to Vision Express and I wish I'd gone years ago. Friendly, professional service provided in a comfortable environment.

Told I was 7 minutes late so the optician may not see me ! Had a voucher from my employer for test but test put through as NHS due to diabetes. Wanted VDU certificate for employer so as to obtain voucher towards cost of glasses but nobody seemed to understand what it was even though I had a covering letter from my employer explaining the requirement 🤔 So I left with just a copy of my prescription which had changed since my last test ! Confused is an understatement 😕

Excellent service from Vision Express Birkenhead Pyramids took my broken glasses to them on Friday 19th August and they were returned with a brand new frame Sunday 21st August excellent service thank you vision express went above & beyond to help .

Went in for emergency glasses and they seen me on the day late afternoon after work will always recommend all staff are lovely an go above an beyond thankyou
