Best coffee shop around I've been using them since pre 1995 when I used to go in with my dad. Great coffee all the syrups and other coffe paraphernalia. Best of all glass bottle coke and cakes.

Food homemade, excellent choice, just had ham broth with dumplings and 2 slices of the most delicious bread, we ordered small.... Seriously 1 portion would have done for 2 people but we ate it all 😂

Called here this morning for a takeaway cappuccino. This is still the best cappuccino for miles, and service with a smile. Highly recommended.

Welcoming and great specials for lunch all at very reasonable prices. Plethora of specialty teas and coffees to try and buy. Peaceful on a Wednesday lunchtime but I can imagine it being very busy at weekends.

Super great atmospheric coffee / tea cafe in centre of Clitheroe - service was fantastic and food and drink brilliant and well worth a visit again alone for that. The only thing that could be sorted is the cleanliness in the not-so-visible areas like behind sofas - resulting in sticky hands not pleasant! Don't let that put you off however it is fantastic and unique, tea was so good I ended up buying some to take home with me.

A great coffee shop and café. Plenty of character, not your run of the mill grab and go type of place. Retailer of teas and coffees, and great home made food with friendly service. We have always had good food served with a smile.

Great coffee, delicious homemade slices and a delightful atmosphere! We have been travelling through the UK for two weeks and this was one of the nicest coffees we’ve had by a long shot.

A great selection of coffee beans, sold whole or ground to your preference. Also serves coffee to go or to drink in as well a a good menu selection of light snacks, breakfasts and lunches.

Just popped in after making a delivery to this coffee shop over a year ago and falling in love with the smells I finnaly made it in whilst in the area for another local shop. The chap who served me was fantastic, extremely knowledgeable and helped me navigate the world of proper coffee, made recommendations bassed on my very limited description and helped me to purchase some other items in order to brew the coffee properly. I'm genuinely thrilled with my purchases and the help that was offered. Me and my partner then decided to pop in back to the cafe and have a sandwich and a coffee and once again the staff was patient and knowledgeable helping me decided on what type of coffee to have with my sandwich which was also fantastic! Me and my partner both thoroughly enjoyed out lunch and the cinnamon bun my partner got to take out was fantastic! I will never be buying supermarket coffee again! Thanks so much guys! Big thanks from the customer who wanted coffee that is the opposite to him "strong and rich".

When in Clitheroe we always call for a coffee. Lovely selection, beautiful home cooked cakes and a nice choice of meals.

Just had lunch. Ham and cheese toastie came on brown bread not white as ordered and the milk for the coffee was cold and not hot as requested. When orders are taken incorrectly like mine was, the very least I would expect is a sincere apology, not a begrudged, "Well I can do it again for you if you want." Customer service matters. Even more so, when the establishment clearly gets it wrong, like today. 😢

Been here a few times when in Clitheroe. Charming cafe with lots of period features of the old building interior. Cafe is split over three floors and each floor is cosy The coffee selection is very good and a variety of beans can be bought. The cafe roasts beans also. The food menu is ok with decent home cooking. The cakes are also very good The entrance of the cafe is the shop which has plenty of coffee equipment and paraphernalia on sale as well as interesting confectionery and chocolate If you're ever in Clitheroe and like coffee this place is a must

Disappointed as the menu has sandwiches and wraps ordered a wrap and a tea .tea arrived then was told no wraps ,it was 12 noon and no wraps I had my own place years ago and the first thing was to check everything was available on the menu if not it was covered up but the fact there is a supermarket 1min walk away so no excuse for not nipping out to get some for lunch time trade but I suppose it shows the lack of customer service nowadays still love the shop though

I gave this an extra star because the coffee beans are very nice but the cafe was terrible. I bought a full English and the sausage was hard in the outside and crispy on the inside, it had no flavor, the bacon.was just as bad. It's almost as if they were pre cooked and reheated. Not worth the price that I paid. The coffee is nice though

Lovely coffee shop, great range of coffee and snacks. Interesting shop attached. Well worth a visit but note that it's a bit cramped so pushchairs or wheelchairs will struggle

A brilliant coffee shop . The coffee I had was the hottest I have ever been served. It was nice to enjoy it sat outside watching the world go by. The range of beans to buy was brilliant a great selection.

Absolutely the BEST coffee house in town. Extensive menu of both teas and coffee from around the world. Freshly ground in store and available to purchase to take home. Seating over three floors, all beautifully decorated in Sanderson and William Morris. Lovely food & a nice selection of cakes. We had a huge full English breakfast on our visit, couldn't fault any of it. Superb!!

Amazing little gem of a place off the high street with quite a traditional feel to the cafe. I was looking for somewhere for (dairy free/vegetarian) lunch and the sandwich provided was delicious. Staff were friendly and mostly attentive and the little shop at the front is packed full of everything you could want for your tea or coffee experience at home.

Superior quality fresh coffee. Just a shame about the online service. I originally wanted to head down to my The clitheroe store to stock up but just didn’t have the time as I work very long hours. I decided to do an online order instead as I had previously and had no issues. I ordered on Saturday night and hoped to have the coffee around Tuesday. The Dpd tracking placed the coffee in Preston then Birmingham and then Liverpool before returning the parcel back to exchange coffee with no attempts to deliver it. I’m a little frustrated at the delivery options and the fact it took a week to get to me. I feel alternative delivery options would be a great addition to the online service allowing people to use more reputable delivery services. In the future if I’m in a rush for coffee I will probably be considering other options.

Excellent selection of coffees and teas, good homemade meals served by pleasant staff. Also has a nice shop with plenty of brewing equipment and gift ideas.

Brilliant place. At one level, it is just an ordinary cafe but simple food is of good quality and most importantly, freshly brewed tea and coffee is always excellent. There is a wide choice of tea and coffee available. Have a tasting in the cafe and buy the tea/coffee from the shop. Never been disappointed.

I'm blown away by this little shop which can be found at the bottom of Clitheroe town centre, I called in for some fresh coffee for a Christmas gift and was served bt a lovey young lady who really knew her stuff, there was no pressure or rushing and she explained the coffee as she went along. The bags were all heat sealed and each one had a label hand written with what was inside, also I was given a list to describe the coffees and website details for if the person I was buying for wanted to buy his own. Very friendly but not in your face and a beautiful little cafe in the back area too. They also sell a huge selection of mugs that are beautiful and every size, shape and colour you will ever need. We'll worth a visit.
