First visit with family, waiting five minutes for table to be set up. Service was quick and easy, staff were polite and friendly. Ordered three dishes and two starters. *Curried fish balls *Siu Mai *Won Ton soup *Char Sui rice *Five spice duck, chicken, char sui noodles *lemon and honey teas Came to £41 All very tasty, we loved the starters, good sized portions too. Will definitely visit again.

Very good, authentic Chinese food available here at Big Bowl Noodle Bar. The dishes are quickly prepared and always delicious. Each time I have eaten here, the staff have been friendly and both the restaurant and its facilities are clean. The atmosphere can feel a little sterile due to the bright lights, but having only eaten here for lunch, this is not an issue at all. The inclusion of other peoples' dining experiences as a part of the decor is a very cute addition. The only issue ever faced here was on one instance where the kitchen seemed to forget about our order, but we received a free round of drinks and huge apologies once we pointed this out. They seemed embarrassed but it was a sincere mistake. The cost of the food is very reasonable, considering what you receive. I will eat here again.

Went there with low expectations as it was only one of the few Chinese restaurants open around Chinese quarters at 1600 Wednesday. The authenticity of the dishes surprised us greatly (had low expectations as it had more non-asian customers in at the time). Also, the fact that each dish would include a rice bowl surprised us greatly as normally the bowls of rice had to be bought separately and wouldn't be included per dish (very non-chinese tradition) . The portions were also huge and plentiful with big slices of meat! very good value for money!!It feels very family oriented and genuine! Food came quickly and service was great! We had 3 dishes with 3 included rice bowls, a big bowl of noodle and fried rice!

Best Chinese in central Liverpool! Simple, tasty, full of flavours, good quantity, quick service , humble staff and good price. What else do you need! It was busy as it’s a popular choice in central Liverpool. Everyone seemed happy and content. The tables have nice little drawing from kids and people who came to eat. I loved that. Such nice memories. Highly recommend, and if you happen to visit Liverpool, go here! Try the chrysanthemum tea 🍵

So first time for me to visit this place and what a little gold mine, the food was absolutely great, big portions, everything cooked fresh and so much value for money. I couldn't eat all my main course sovi asked for a box to take it away. Out meal cost us £14.50 each and we got a starter, appetizer and a really big main. We got the banquet for two which is B. I took photos of the menu so you can see for yourself what they offer and the prices won't be beaten for sure. The service I gave it 3 stars because when we arrived we ordered after 5 mins and it took the NEW WAITER 20 mins to come and tell me he lost my order I was fuming as well as starving, but once he got it again the food come so quickly and the service, to be honest, was great really.

Propper Chinese restaurant. Some fantastically different choices on menu. Five of us ate here every dish was superb. Lots of Chinese people eating here which proves how good food is. Looking at other peoples meals all of which looked amazing, difficult to know what to choose. Thankfully this will mean several more visits to make sure. Finally great prices

Order our food tonight, set meal soup came and we had side plates for the next part had a big black hair on it, kindly said sorry won't be using these, he took them away and replaced them immediately, then we had our soup was lovely, as we finished I was helping the staff move the plates, my bottle of tiger fell on the floor and was all over my arm of my top, ask another member of staff if they had a hand dryer after using napkins to dry my arm, to his reply what do you want me to do shouting across the restaurant, very rude wouldn't get a manager, made a show of me my husband and himself, terrible customer service, only coming out for a meal and relaxing far from it, it's so unprofessional and shouldn't be in this line of work I am absolutely speechless, and no one was bothered the way he was speaking to us i was fuming. Very upset just couldn't believe we was treated this way. Ask for the bill and payed and left in total shock 😲

Lovely food, nice staff and not too expensive. I would say felt like staff were literally stood behind you so once you were done they take the plate back ahaha. The portion size is incredible so no way you will leave hungry.

Nice service, great food and portions. Very well priced. The atmosphere is a bit outdated and lacking.

Love this place. Haiwanese chicken was special with a delicious rich broth to go alongside. The crispy prawn noodles were fresh and really hit the spot.

Amazing food! Especially chicken chops, and everything with the satay sauce! Nice selection of hot beverages - I love their chrysanthemum tea (+ free refill), and bubble tea for only £2,8, which is almost twice as cheap as at the bubble tea places. It’s so concentrated, the taste is very rich. Waiters are also very friendly. Service is fast. Recommend the place!

This is proper Chinese food territory, no nonsense stuff here. We've been a couple of times now and the food is exceptional, for price, quality and quantity. Another plus side is that while China Town seems not to really open at lunchtime this place does. Please try one of the noodle soups but make sure you're hungry because they're massive.

Perfect chinese restaurant. Huge portions, decent price. When you come here, the atmosphere feels like you’re in China. Authentic foods and drinks!!! Don’t forget the drinks!!! Their bubble tea is to die for! It’s the real bubble tea. Period. Also, the iced coconut shake, yummmmm, thank me later!!! I saw other tables ordered cola and even wine, what a disaster! 😂🤣 I ordered duck rice and it came with a broth, yum yum yum.. Duck was so tender and juicy.. Recommend menu: Iced pearl milk tea & iced coconut shake

Good food and massive portions. The sweet and sour sauce was nice but not like the usually sweet and sour you usually get. Good place and recommended.

So big portion of chow mein! We didn’t expect it to be that and we really loved it! Will definitely come back again!

Wide menu range, reasonable prices, fast and friendly service and absolutely delicious dishes. We ordered prawn toast and salt and pepper chicken, and shared a special chow mein. I would definitely recommend all three of these. You can pay with card over £15.

Good authentic food. Reasonable price. Large portions. Good service. If you can’t find it, it moved closer to the church.

Popped in today for the set banquet. £11.50. Had vegetables spring rolls, prawn crackers, sweetcorn soup then sweet and sour king prawns with fried rice. The quality of the food was superb and the staff are super friendly. Possibly the nicest sweet and sour king prawns I have ever had and the soup spring rolls prawn crackers and fried rice were fab as well. Highly recommend this little gem. First time visit but it will be a regular from now on

I ordered a large rice bowl that came with 2 types of pork , duck and fried chicken . The crispy pork was excellent and all the meat was soft , tender and very tasteful . Anything with a perfectly fried egg on top of a delicious feast deserves some praise . I also ordered the coconut shake which was so fresh and equal to the ones in Asia . The staff were great , very down to earth , polite and engaging . The price for the quality of food is definitely a win . The portion was excellent . If I lived closer I would likely eat here everyday .

Would NOT recommend…. The lemon iced tea was so sweet it was undrinkable. We ordered hot & sour noodle soup, but it was very salty and sweet at the same time, the udon noodles were not tasty and the vegetables tasted like water. Surprised there are so many good reviews here!

Order a set meal for two, Chicken soup was tasty, starters were delicious but i did not enjoy my salt and pepper chicken. Husband enjoyed his chicken Kong po with fried rice. Two cans of soda. Would not visit again as there are plenty of other places to eat in and around the area.
