This is one of the older churches in Negros situated in Silay. It was established in 1776 as a light structure and was built as a grand structure in 1925. It is a nice place to attend mass

Solemn place to pray Attended Sunday mass during the Feast of Christ the King at the 9:30am English Mass People have high respect to the mass as well as the church as you can barely hear them speak loudly, dressed modestly to say the least.

the pro-cathedral is now adorned with bigger than life-size statue of saints and the famous replica of the La Pieta at the right side of the 2nd gate to the rectory.

A holy place for prayer welcoming everyone who would like to nourish their relationship with God. My first time to visit this Catholic church because I was invited to attend a wedding. Serene and cool inside. The dome is interesting both inside and out. For potential visitors -- please avoid going in groups, taking pics with flash enabled and talking in general inside as it is quite rude for others inside doing religious activities. Please time your visit when there is no mass being conducted so as not to disract people.
