Sur beach one of the most preferred place in Sur to hangout in evening. Age is just a number here, one can find Kids, juvenile, adults, sr citizens of all genders. Take a walk, ro yoga, play volley ball or football, exercise to get fit, swim, boat ride many options. One can have enough food options from vegetarian and nonveg, small snacks like pakoda, chai, near bridge are good. Also one can try joma cafe and store near to it. Be you are alone or with someone this place won't disappoint you. PM for more details.

The Sur corniche is approx. 5-km oceanfront walkway around the oldest part of the city. Along the main stretch that runs along the sea, you can take in views of the beautiful wooden dhow in the harbor and the ancient watchtower across the bay in the village of Al Ayjah, while the inlet side offers views of the mosque-dominated skyline of the newer part of the city across the water. Along the route is a stretch of sandy beach, the dhow factory, and the maritime museum. It is the perfect place to walk in the evening, just before sunset when the weather is cool and the light is starting to wane. At night, it is a favorite hangout of local residents, who set up their folding chairs and enjoy the wonderful views.

It is a large and nice beach, but there is a bit too much trash around. The water seems inviting enough, however, there are some waves that could be considered like strong ones. For a stroll down the sand yes, for something more, not so sure.

Wonderful views of the ocea. Not only Omani people but also foreigners are visiting and sunbathing. There is a small section for kids to play in. Speed boats are also available here. I'd love to see both day and night views. You can also find some hotels nearby to stay in if necessary.

The beach is nice but sadly there is too much waste on it, it doesn't seem to be taken care of properly. Five star reviews cannot be objective.
