There is only one kalibari Mandir known as Kali Mata Mandir. The temple is so beautiful and well maintained. People come for worship their lord. Durga Puja is very famous in Kali badi during Navratri. They celebrate Kali puja during Diwali. People come here to buy their idols for worship. Stempel provide a room to people come for the out of station for few days. That is chargeable. This Temple has a used space.

It's a magnificent site for art, culture, and the sublime. Because of the Bengali Durga Puja, you'll enjoy this place and how they construct giant sculptures with mud. Should be visited during Durga Puja. It was a really clean and quiet location. Perfecly suited for devotional and prayer exercises. Bengali community centre in Chandigarh This establishment has a cosy atmosphere. From 7am until 8pm, you can pray. Renting a guest room is a great way to spend a few days in peace and quiet. There is a large area where you may walk about.

A scaled down version of the Dakshineswar Mahakali Mandir in West Bengal, Kalibari Chandigarh is a hotspot for Bengali culture. It is a home away from home for many Pravasi Bangalis

It is a good place to visit in Chandigarh. There are many facilities available. During Durga Mata Pooja time (navratri) there is small fare organised here and many programs played here.

Temple of Kali Mata. A temple where all festivals are celebrated. Durga Puja is the one that is celebrated largely. Apart from that Kali Puja, Lakshmi Puja, Saraswati Puja, Ganesh Chaturthi Puja, Jagadhatri Puja and many other festivals.

Rarely I have come across a more beautiful, clean and peaceful temple. Pristine premises, helpful staff and mostly beautiful temple with the deity. Also the best part is that on prior booking one can stay at small guest rooms at the premises at nominal rate. The guests are are neat and clean with geyser, ac and a small utility unit attached to it. Overall kudos to the oragnisers for maintaining the place so beautifully.

Kalibari Chandigarh, a premier socio-religious, cultural and charitable organization came into existence in 1970 when a handful of energetic people comprising mainly of defence personnel, eminent doctors of PGI Chandigarh and other civilians of Chandigarh, transformed their dreams of having a Goddess Kali Temple in Chandigarh, into reality. It's very devotional & peaceful Temple. Jai maa kali 🙏🏻

The Kalibari Temple is indeed a beautiful place of worship, where devotees chant "Jai Maa Kaali" to honor the mighty goddess. It serves as a good worship place, attracting heavy crowds during the auspicious festival of Durga Puja. Despite the influx of visitors, the temple maintains a nice and calm atmosphere, allowing worshippers to find solace in their prayers. Located just 2 km away from Tribune Chowk, it offers convenient accessibility to both locals and tourists. This wonderful temple is dedicated to the worship of Goddess Kali, who is revered by devotees. During festivals like Navratri, the temple takes on a vibrant aura, with devotees coming together to celebrate and seek blessings. The temple complex also houses a Shiv Mandir, adding to the spiritual significance of the place. Moreover, the temple grounds are adorned with greenery, with numerous trees and plants creating a serene and refreshing environment. The Kalibari Temple not only serves as a place of worship but also provides ample space for religious gatherings and cultural events. Its spacious premises make it suitable for hosting festivals and other social functions. Additionally, its convenient location on the main road ensures easy accessibility for visitors. To cater to the needs of devotees, a small canteen is available, offering vegetarian food and snacks. This famous temple of Maa Kaali goes beyond religious practices, providing additional facilities such as a library, a charitable homeopathic dispensary, and a physiotherapy center. These offerings demonstrate the temple's commitment to the welfare of its devotees and the broader community. Rarely does one come across a temple as beautiful, clean, and peaceful as the Kalibari Temple. The premises are kept pristine, and the staff is helpful and accommodating. The main temple itself is a sight to behold, with its exquisite deity and divine aura. Moreover, for those wishing to extend their stay, the temple offers small guest rooms at a nominal rate. These rooms are well-maintained, equipped with modern amenities like geysers, AC, and utility units. It is commendable how the organizers have managed to maintain such a beautiful space for devotees and guests. For individuals originally from Bengal and residing in Chandigarh, visiting the Kalibari Temple is a wonderful experience. On auspicious occasions like Durga Puja or Kali Puja, the entire Bengali community from Chandigarh and nearby areas come together to celebrate. The efforts of the Kali Bari community members deserve special recognition for their excellent work in organizing these gatherings and upholding the spirit of the festivals. In conclusion, the Kalibari Temple in Sector 47, Chandigarh, is not only a place of devotion but also a cultural hub that offers a fulfilling spiritual experience. Its beauty, serene atmosphere, and community-focused initiatives make it a cherished destination for worshippers and visitors alike.

A very good place specially if you are a Bengali. The priests are friendly. You need to order one day in advance if you want to offer "bhog" to the goddess. You can go there to see it anytime.

In and around Chandigarh, this is the one and only authentic bengali kali mandir. You can shop little things required for puja then and there from the shop inside. Carry sweets from outside if you want the prasad to be of your choice, like most of us do in bengal. The place is very calm and soothing, you can seat in front of the Idol and concentrate to connect with your innerself and pray. Everyone coming to the place is sensible enough not to disturb you. Downside is only their prefixed rates for different types of puja, which are a little on the higher side, but as I already said this is the only traditional option available here in tricity. The place also carries an important role in giving cultural education like they have music and dance classes going on with good teachers. You can contact them for purohit, murti and any puja at home. If you have guests, you can book rooms there too in affordable rates.
