I have an affinity for a good Boston cream, and check out any original donut place on the east coast selling them. The venue was nice, clean, had many donut varieties and had some other non donut options and shakes. I have to say, I've been to a few of their locations, and each place sells nice dressed up donuts and their price reflects that. Except I have come to find out their Boston cream is sub par, unacceptable for the price they charge, as 6 donuts came out to nearly 10 bucks. I expected more.... The donut tasted stale, and the filling was ok, and kind of sparse... I have found it on par with a Wawa Boston cream, and it happened on more than 3 visits. I usually travel out of state for my favorite Boston cream, and you should too to get an idea of a good donut. I'm sure you will have better luck trying their pretty donuts or glazed.

This place is by far the most amazing place we visited on our trip. Amazing coffee and coming from Spain that was hard to beat.. wonderful staff smiley happy even laughed at our poor jokes but so attentive. If i was to write anoit the amazing selection of donuts 🍩 I could be here all day. They had a donut for shark week it was amazing. We came to have a take away snack we stayed and enjoyed the wonderful experience.

Donuts are definitely a cut above the bigger chains; I found the staff friendly and it looked like business was good; next I plan to try their coffee offerings, as we have no other nearby coffee shops

I love to give great reviews ! Wish I could give a totally great one about the Sugar Shack . The service was 5 star , very nice people . It was my first time there and had been meaning to check it out . My husband wanted me to pick him up something for a breakfast pastry and I remembered this place . He said his Apple Fritter was ok . He normally raves about any apple fritter he gets near . I got a huge cinnamon roll. It looked good . It was not . Tasted odd and very " Doughy" and difficult to eat . Not good at all and both were expensive . I have never complained about a cinnamon roll that I can recall and I have had lots of them . The ones you buy in a package in the grocery store are much better than this one . The other thing is they make you choose a tip amount before your card will work . I chose the lowest , 16%. I think the choices went up to 25%. The person is standing there watching you so you feel obligated to choose to tip. Tip for putting the pastries in the bag.

We want to like this place but... This was our second go. The chocolate covered is dark chocolate (not sweet at all), the plain glazed was just not right and the rest (a mix up) were pretty stale. Ordering online was very easy though. Liked that part a lot.

I got three donuts and a coffee. I got an oreo donut that was ok. A maple bacon donut that the bacon was way over cooked on but I got a caramel salted donut that was amazing. I should have got three of those caramel salted donuts. The coffee was great too. The young lady was right on time as she got me served and on the road very quickly.Nice place. Those salted caramel donuts and the coffee are bank.outstanding .

Was able to place my order quickly. A little overwhelming with all the burgers, coffees, shakes, and donuts available to choose from! We decided to keep it simple this time and got the red velvet donut, which was an excellent choice! Delicious and moist! Will definitely be back to try more of what they offer!

Amazing burgers! Make sure to ask for them "Luther style!" That means that they put your smash burger between two freshly glazed donuts. This place has several dessert options as well a few smash burger options. They have milkshakes and ice cream, too. There is adequate seating and some outside seats as well. There are two bathrooms available in the back to wash your hands from the sticky donuts.

I'm genuinely impressed by the exceptional staff and delectable cuisine at this establishment. While I'm out on delivery assignments, it's heartwarming to occasionally receive a delightful donut. Acts of generosity, kindness, and thoughtfulness like this are becoming increasingly rare in today's world. I'm grateful for the warmth shown by the staff and the thoughtful management of this place.

I'm not sure what I enjoyed most; watching the children's wide-eyed delight as they struggled to decide which magnificent artisan donut to select... and these donuts are AMAZING! The freshest ingredients- 🍓- Fabulous- the caramel.... the best caramel anything I've ever tasted. Seriously guys. Wow!

Honey lavender coffee is especially good, and the folks behind the counter are super friendly and fun. The burgers with donuts for buns are worth trying! Really good shakes. Creative flavors all around

3 stars because the employees were nice, and though the lattes were way too sweet, they were good. Now, the real criticism is about the donuts. They only ice the top half of the donut, and the donut dough is quite dry without icing. They get stale really fast, I'm assuming the half-iced status contributes to the stale-speed as icing would lock out air and lock in moisture. I can not tell if the donuts are baked or deep fried. Either way, I would prefer a dunkin double chocolate or a Krispy Kreme glazed over the sugar shack options any day. I guess enough people like their donuts to keep them in business, but I have also noticed that these sugar shacks are in locations where it seems to be a Starbucks and Dunkin ghost zone, so it may be that the locals have no better options.

I noticed my receipt after I paid for my purchase; noticed I was charged for a service fee and extra fees that the cashier could not explain. Requested mgr fir explanation no one ever came. Be cautious of the extra fees that no one could explain. I also used cash. I 20 people visited this location in a day imagine the extra money they make. Interesting
