Had a spa experience day today, it was wondeful the best facial and massage I've ever had plus the sun shone so we could enjoy the heated outside pool and a little sun bathing. The light lunch we had as part of the experience was perfect, healthy, tasty and plentiful. Thank you to whole team please don't change a thing , we will be returning ❤ x

An attractive location and I enjoyed lunch there, quite limited menu selections but well cooked and tasty food and good service. There are 4 very vicious speed bumps along the unmade entrance driveway and even negotiating them at the lowest possible speed still scuffed the underside of my car. If you have a low riding car, this place is not car friendly. The signs say 10mph, not a chance.

My partner and I had an incredible stay at Thyme last weekend. From the moment we arrived, we felt looked after. The staff are super friendly, helpful and professional. The small details really made the stay such as wellies and umbrellas provided for rainy days, and a hot water bottle brought to our room in the evenings. Our room was beautifully decorated with a colourful, nature inspired design, and it was the comfiest bed I've ever slept in. The Bertioli bath products are also divine. Loved the food at the Ox barn, too. Can't wait to go back!!

The location is fantastic. The property is laid out beautifully with lush gardens and water features. The atmosphere makes you want to pause and reflect, which was the purpose of our few days off. The spa is beautiful and we were very well looked after. The pool was warm and inviting. I also appreciate the fact that there was no plastic anywhere in the room- admirable effort!

It's a beautiful place - airy and warmly decorated. But that's not made me want to write the review. The customer service was really lovely. On one day, we experienced a power cut across most of the village. But the staff were so helpful, especially in the (dog friendly) Baa bar. Thank you Thyme staff.

From now on when I think of paradise I will think of Thyme! Everything about our time here was perfect - from the beautiful Cotswold scenery to the impeccable hospitality provided by Milly and her staff. The food in the Ox barn was out of this world - topped off with a soothing trip to the spa. I will certainly be returning here as soon as I can!

Thyme is outstanding in every single way! An absolute haven of peace and restoration - my definite favourite when needing a relaxing weekend. The quality of the rooms is unmatched, food phenomenal and service attentive without being fussy. A gem!

Wonderful place to ground you and bring you back to nature. Food was delicious and the breathing balm has been with me everyday since I visited. Beautiful architectural, interiors and curated products.

Pros: - The rooms seem to vary greatly within categories so you can get a very nice room for a decent price if you’re lucky. - Beautiful grounds and surrounding area - Cosy bar area and a lovely hotel pub with good food - Great spa and treatments Cons: - The food in the hotel restaurant (the Ox Barn) was not up to scratch. When we had stayed at a similar category hotel earlier this year, we were given local, homemade food and the food at Thyme is pretty regular industrial food. Portions were stingy for the price, eg £7 cheese toasties with hardly any filling. Given the hotel has a kitchen garden, I would expect that to have been more clear in the menu. - As above, rooms vary a lot within categories so you can get unlucky. We were initially booked into a Cosy room which was tiny and very stuffy - nothing like the example photos online - so we asked to move to the category above (which we paid for). This room was much better with lots of space and a bath. - Patchy service. We had some great service but it wasn’t consistent, eg we sometimes struggled to find service in the bar and did not feel very warmly welcomed at check in

Beautiful estate and grounds. Staff so friendly, welcoming and chatty. We had lunch and a walk round the grounds. Next time we'll stay. Shop is heavenly too!

Quite simply, gorgeous and cosy luxury with a brilliant welcome by a dedicated member of the team. Really impressed with the provenance of the products used throughout including the beauty and skin care through to the choice of additional workshops and striking landscape gardening in the hotel. One to come back for!

We had a great spa-treatment. The whole area is very well designed and you have a private exclusive feeling. The staff knew how to did anything that we felt comfortable. The next time we visit we will stay at the hotel to enjoy this wonderful place even more.

Very nice atmosphere and surroundings. Staff pleasant and helpful. Food very nice a little expensive but what you'd expect for the location.

Loved our dinner but felt it could be a little tighter and the food a little better. Definitely still Michelin quality cooking but not as good as we experienced in the past. Would love to see more emphasis on the local produce and onsite grown meat and vegetables. Mains should be served with more seasonal vegetables.

My husband and I along with my mother my sister and her husband have just stayed at Thyme. What a joy and delight! You can clearly see the effort and love that goes into making this wonderful hideaway, a perfect destination of joy. We had a variety of accommodation between us. My mother a garden room, which chic and elegant and was perfectly designed for someone such as my mother who uses mobility aids. My sister had a Courtyard room which again was beautifully designed and perfectly situated for the Ox Barn restaurant, which was stunning. My hubby and I had Pear Tree cottage, which is located across the road from the main body of the hotel. Ideal for us as it was a dog friendly cottage. The attention to detail was wonderful. We were supplied two dogs bowls, a dog bed and a few more doggy bits and bobs. We had a perfect Thursday afternoon, with us and our dog, cuddled up in front of an open fire with a bottle of English sparkling Rose (which was delivered to the cottage). The staff were so friendly and welcoming they truly were. From the outset of collecting our luggage from the car, up until checkout. The BaaBar was super, we could take our dog in with us. The food in the Ox Barn was delicious. I could write more but this is a must place to visit. Cannot wait to book again. Thank you to everyone at Thyme for making our stay so enjoyable xx

Absolutely beautiful hotel and a lovely estate, every member of staff was next level professional and the grounds, rooms, communal areas etc were perfectly kept and very clean. Nice boutique and gorgeous restaurant... Wish I could of stayed there for a week! The whole estate is beautiful and I can't wait to go there again.

Went to Thyme for a massage in their beautiful spa. Lovely setting even on a wet afternoon. Very polite and attentive staff. The facilities are fabulous and the massage was wonderful.

In so many ways I am thankful to have found a place called Thyme; beautiful, welcoming, warm, slick and professional. Sophisticated and relaxed, elegant and yet humble - a brand that knows what it is and does it well, so well... No brash bragging required - it speaks to me; come take a look, spend some time with us, eat our food, use our glorious Bertioli products and be convinced! Yes, yes and yes - nuff said!!

Ate at the restaurant, top ingredients respectfully treated. Good wine list. Expensive but worth it.
