My upcoming stay with Hayley at Spitzer House will be my 3rd in less than a year. That should say enough about the quality of the accommodations but I'll elaborate. The house is charming and immaculate, the beds are comfortable, and Hayley's breakfasts are outstanding. She has been the consummate host, even to the point of fulfilling a special request at her own expense. For exploring downtown the location is perfect and there are several outstanding restaurants within a couple of blocks. You could stay out at the interstate in that nasty construction mess and eat at Bob Evans or treat yourself to a lovely room at a competitive rate. Thanks, Hayley for everything you've done for me my family.

Absolute bed and breakfast perfection! My husband and I stayed two nights in Ceilan’s room and had the best time, the claw foot tub was perfect for the most relaxing bath I’ve taken in ages! Hayley was wonderful and attentive and made the most amazing breakfasts! The bed was also soooo very comfortable! Within walking distance of Medina’s historical square where you can find the sweetest little shops and the most amazing food! We will definitely be back to try a different room.

Booked the Spitzer House on a whim as a halfway point between Chicago and Baltomire and will find a way to return and stay for more than one night. Innkeeper and Hostess Hayley was fantastic- warm, friendly, quickly responsive and incredibly busy. My room (Anna's Room) was lovely, the breakfast was incredible and unique. I walked into the town square - out of another time, charming ..full of quaint shops, great restaurants and more friendly people. If you are looking for a stop over or a getaway consider the Spitzer House.

This is the nicest b&b you could want. Lovely rooms (done have bathrooms outside the rooms, done have the bathroom in it), comfy beds, somehow, even though it's a nice old house, it's very quiet, even when all the rooms are full. The only thing we ever heard was footsteps and they were not loud. The proprietor is amazing! So kind and a great cook. I cannot say enough about breakfast.

The Spitz House is a beautiful structure, well mantained and furnished with bgreat antiques. The room was comfortable, the bathroom so-so. The breakgast was very nice. Everything physical was nice; the attitude of the girl who received us was offensive. She was slow in answering the door and admonished us because we were early. When I claimed that I had informed by email we needed to be there 1 hour earlier, she ansepwred , " Iam she and I don't think so". She said we could seat and left us waiting for 40 minutes. I could hear she was cleaning. Afterwards she came to the room to adk when wpuld we like to have breakfast the next day and adknowledged she had received the email and left a message on my phone saying there would not be any problems if we arrived 1 hour earlier. From there on, she was nice but the sour taste of that undeserved reprimand and the 40 minutes wait that made us late for the engament we had at 5:00pm ruined the day for us.

This was our first time staying at a bed and breakfast and it was an amazing experience. Hayley was an incredible host and had everything ready for us upon arrival. Her breakfast was fantastic as well! We stayed in Evalyn's Room which was the king suite with whirlpool bath. The room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. The whirlpool bath was great as well. The house is located just a stone's throw away from the town square and a lot of neat little shops. Will stay again in the future!

We stayed in the Evalyn Room. We loved the entire house! It had so much character. We enjoyed Medina too. Hayley's breakfast was amazing! Overall, it was a relaxing experience! Thank you!

Absolutely beautiful home! This was our first Bed and breakfast experience, so I wasn't sure exactly how everything worked. My booking, arrival, stay, and departure went very smoothly, and we experienced fast and easy communication with the owner. I definitely plan on returning during warmer weather to walk around the cute little town and check everything out.

This house is like stepping back in time. The rooms were incredibly comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and offered a wide variety of food. Definitely a great place to stay in the area.

Such a neat house to stay, great getaway for a pleasant date night! The craftsmanship of the house is stunning, very clean rooms with comfy beds! Hailey the host was such a nice person to deal with booking the room. The one mishap that we had wasn't the fault of the house, room, or Hailey however she did handle that mishap right away if I could I would rate this place with 10 star rating, very pleased with our stay!

Enjoyed a fantastic girls' weekend in Medina and booked four rooms. Hayley was more-than-accomodating and responsive and made sure our celebration was one to remember. The beds were comfortable and the rooms well-appointed for a B&B. It was such a charming and personalized experience - far better than staying in a box room in a chain hotel! The location is perfect; we were walking distance to all of our activties in Medina Square. I can't wait to stay here again!

100/10! Breakfast was flexible, classy, delicious and filling! I got a room upgrade which was SO nice for my fiancé and I (we especially appreciated the two person tub). I plan to stay here every time I come to visit family😁

😐 Its not to bad, there is free WiFi, but no smoking, its a 20 flat deposit on top of the 70 dollar nightly charge, they also kick you out of your room so they can clean it you don't have a choice, also there is no phone in the room, and the heaters don't work
