My Husband and I stayed at the Genting Hotel at Resort World In Birmingham on 15th October. We absolutely loved it. The shops, bars, restaurants and the night life was buzzing. It had a very good atmosphere. The hotel was beautiful and the staff were amazing, highly recommended. We had dinner at the rooftop bar and it was lovely, a bit of a wait for food but because of this the manager bought over free drinks for us....and no, I didn't complain to get them!! All in all a brilliant weekend 🙌

A great family day out. A varied selection of retailers and restaurants. Great tip: if you spend £20 at certain retailers/restaurants, get them to validate your parking ticket and your parking cost will not go above £2.50 for the day.

This is a great place for a day out, whether you’re with kids as a family or just adults, there’s plenty of shops, restaurants and activities to keep you occupied!! We’ve been here a few times now, tried different restaurants, gone in the shops, played in the arcade, seen a few concerts! The lake is nice to have a walk round as well. Lots of car parking, just watch the prices depending on how long you stay! The train station is about a 15 min walk away with a good regular service.

Decent spot to get your kids into gambling early. Then there is a real casino too where they can properly get into it when older. Spot on.

Me and my friend were visiting the NEC for an event on throughout the week, and as we finished the event quicker than expected we wondered what we could do when we noticed the Resort World next door. I'm glad we went to the Resort World as we had a great time looking round and we even had a game of bowling to pass the time. We stopped off at this Japanese style restaurant and the food was lovely! The cocktails were quite strong but that's no complaint. All in all the visit made the trip worth while.

We've been in Birmingham resorts World for an event this week, we've found it to be absolutely fantastic. A really lovely location, with few eating places, and shops if the desire takes. The arena is really good, not whopping big but just right to feel close enough to the entertainment in any seat ... definitely would return here. Will check out future events so can come back for sure!!

This place was massive. It has a good variation of bars and restaurants to have a great time in. Though I will say book a table where ever you want to eat early or you will be waiting for an hour plus for food. Pizza express recommended for good quick reasonable service. Go early for your day and find your way around. Always use the experience and knowledge of the staff around, its invaluable for time saving. Most if all, enjoy yourself

Great building, clean and it's also got basically everything you would need before going to a concert. HOWEVER!! If you're planning on going to a restaurant before please book!! It's very busy and the only place you can really get into without booking when it's busy is Five Guys.

Really good venue for concerts, not too far for me to travel to. Staff were really helpful and friendly. The only negative for me was the price of drinks. I was feeling a little faint and grabbed a small bottle of Pepsi for myself and my son.... my jaw nearly hit the floor when she said £8.10!!! Lesson learned, take my own drinks in future 🙄

Nice place for day out, shopping, food and kids gaming. If you don't like crowded place than you might like it more as it's quite. There is a small pond for beautiful photos. No free Parking!

What a lovely experience, I really enjoyed being there, and with friends I haven't been with since before the pandemic, the security staff were very nice, polite and friendly, they deserve a big mention. The staff worked tirelessly hard serving upto 8000 plus over the weekend. They were bus shuttles on from the carpark to arena and back.

The 1975's performance in Birmingham was nothing short of spectacular. From their electrifying stage presence to the seamless integration of visuals, each moment was a sensory delight. The band's energy resonated with the crowd, creating an unforgettable night of music and connection. The setlist was a perfect mix of their hits and deep cuts, showcasing their musical prowess. A truly great show that left the audience craving for more.

Limited amount of stores, but for me they had what I wanted. I was shopping for new balance trainers and was not disappointed in range of stock and price. Nike outlet is also very good and with restaurants and Costa coffee you can't go wrong. Cinema is amazing too.

We had high hopes for this place when it opened a couple of years ago. Unfortunately it already feels outdated and unrelevant. There are quite a few empty shop units where businesses have left and no new tenant has been found. There are a few decent places to eat here, my favourite being the Vietnamese Street kitchen. Hopefully this place will pick up again when we get over Covid and the arena and cinema can reopen.

Had a great night watching War of the World's, seated in the disabled area we were very close to the screen, good disabled access and toilets, disabled parking is available but is limited, I had a taxi and he wasn't aloud back into disabled to help me so I had to get staff assistance to help, staff are very helpful and plenty about to assist

Love this building, decor and the atmosphere. It's proximity to the NEC and the arean. Fair amount of food options and good shopping expenses. Can get a bit crowded on some weekends, but it is a prime location for travelers and locals for shopping, dining and entertainment.

I wish Resort World was closer to Birmingham as we had to travel 30 mins to get there but was it worth it? The answer is YESSS!! Wow this place has a lot to do, you can definitely spend a full day and not get bored. Of course everything comes with its price so expect to spend £££. I went to the arcades and cinema. Arabic movies are always shown there so gives us a reason to visit from time to time. There are a lot of restaurants to choose from especially my best restaurants Vietnamese Kitchen YUM. Parking is £3 if you spend over £20 so make sure to validate your car park before you go.

Visited here while I was in Birmingham for Insomnia 71 and was able to get these beautiful photos from the balcony of the Sky Bar Restaurant. Sadly didn’t get any photos inside Resorts World besides this Restaurant (refer to other review), but in general it’s a very lovely place with plenty of stuff to do.

Nicely set out, easy to park, but there's just nothing there worth going for. We went for kids trainers and we had the choice of 2 pairs from the nike shop! Maybe it's a sign of the covid situation but really disappointing, it could be so much more

Out of the way location a a great selection of outlet stores, Nike, Gap and Next are the best ones but all are decent. Miller and cater is a great place for a bite to eat. When the sky lounge is open it's a plesent place for a drink. Never used the cinema but have visited the casino once, It's fine if you enjoy those things.

Parking is only £2.50 normally if you spend £20 in the shops or restaurant, but currently it's £2.50 for everyone. Very clean with markings to follow the one way system. Hand sanitiser available at the entrance to most shops and a queue system to keep everyone safe. Great deals inside as well. Will definitely be returning soon

I came here for a birthday meal in September. Everything was perfect; great view, great food and great service. We went around lunch time which meant the restaurant was not very busy. I ordered baked cheesy mushrooms to start which was very tasty. For main I ordered the 8oz Rump cooked medium. The steak was cooked perfectly. I had the beef dripping sauce with my steak, it was the beefiest thing I had ever tasted; highly recommended and a great accompaniment to the steak and chips.

I genuinely think Resorts World is so underrated. A cluster of great outlet shops, some really nice restaurants in an insanely clean centre. The lake view is great too for a little walk around. Will definitely be back.

  • 2/5 Paul T. 3 years ago on Google
Not what I was expecting, shops lacked variety nothing to take away to eat while we were there. Toilets were clean. Pay to park was too much for the attraction in the present climate. May try again but there are much better shopping options out there. eg. Bicester Village. The Fort shopping centre is just up the road.

Great shopping centre. Need to put more maps around the place so that new visitors can get around more easily. Special mention for the guy who was in the gate house on Tuesday 6th October at 8.00pm, what a great, helpful and friendly person. I was a bit lost coming in and he went the extra mile to help. Thanks. Sorry I did not get your name.

Lindt shop was very good. Very pleasant staff, and the chocolate is great. The Gift Company shop was very nice. Very pleasant staff, and some very nice pieces in there. Resorts World place itself is poor. Closed in and bad lighting. There are much better places to shop.

Few shops have now closed for good but there is still great shops to shop in like Levis, north face and Nike also have a casino and arcade. Restaurants are very good. At the minute with covid car parking is at a standard rate £2.50 all day.

  • 4/5 John W. 4 years ago on Google
Lovely vibrant shopping centre. Lots of shops with some good prices if you look for them. Mostly well known high street brands are available. It does get busy and very busy as it has the arena next door so when there are shows on you get the extra footfall so getting food can be very difficult if you have not booked. But overall a good shopping experience with a nice lake outside to walk around or sit and watch the world go by in one of the restaurants outside seating areas.

  • 4/5 Peter R. 3 years ago on Google
Only went in to Costa, which had really friendly and helpful staff, but enjoyed a quick mooch around while we there. People were generally socially distancing (apart from in the Nike store queue). Maybe its just me, but I struggled to find my way out of the car park from where I was parked as the exit sign was up high and obscured by a pillar plus there were no exit markings on the road. I'll know for next time:)

Attended a concert. Very poorly signposted indoors for event and outdoors for concert location and car parks. Had to constantly ask attendants where we were going etc. Poor info re car parking payment which resulted in most people paying attendant on hand held device as they exited. Obviously they encounter this all the time why this measure is in place

I really like this place, there are quite a few outlet shops, my favourites are gap, sketchers and next, there are lots of one off items. There used to be a Denby shop and I'm very sad its not there anymore. The lake is well worth a walk around too. I understand there is a cinema here too and a spa.

Really enjoyed visiting, first time visit. Unfortunately Google maps tried to take us through a service road so I'll be sure to check route next time web visit. Parking was easy, just watch out for charges. If you spend in any of the restaurants or entertainment complexes, make sure to get your parking pass validated. Otherwise if you spend over two hours there you could end up with a parking fee of £16.50. Some great shops and outlets store, will definitely visit again.

Attended a conference at the Vox center. Good venue, very easy address from the international station with most of the work inside. Generally good levels of access for me (wheelchair user). Small shopping center with restaurants on the floors below the conference facility. Photo is of the view outside the building.

Resort world is clean and has many different outlets and restaurants. They have arcade games and Hollywood bowling alley and Vue cinemas as well. The scenery looks beautiful and at night the building lights up. The view from sky by the water makes it look like I’m on holiday. A fancy treat to celebrate my mums birthday! ✨🌈

Nice mix of good shops and eateries. We went for a child's birthday party at Hollywood Bowl and it was all good. Be mindful of the parking - it's £3 for up to 2 hours but it jumps to £17 for 2 to 12 hours unless you hit a minimum spend of £20 (in which case it drops back down to £3). I assume it's to deter NEC and train commuters using all the parking up.

We ate at Zizzi's and watched a movie at the cinema. The food was outstanding, the service was great. It was my first time using this cinema, it will be my go to place for movies. Service was good and you can buy a beer in there. Game changer. Loved the whole evening

This is a clean and tidy place with great places to eat but there aren't loads of shops to look around while you're waiting for your gig to start.
