What a beautiful way to memorialize a true American hero. My hats off to the city of Monroe for maintaining this truly iconic statue in such a glorious fashion.

I had a great time here, beautiful scenery and monument to a great leader in American military history. And the Army goes rolling along!

The park here is beautiful, the river is amazing to watch. Monroe as a town is quaint and the people are nice. The people at the hospital care about people, the oil change place in Monroe st is awesome! The Krogers is ..meh. Meijers was just remodeled. Good Places to eat. Independent Diary- YUM. They have like every fast food places you can ask for. However the chicken place on Monroe st. Eureka eatery, high price but delicious- shakes rock too!

Beautiful morning in Monroe, MI to take pictures of the George Armstrong Custer Equestrian Monument, this is an outstanding Monument to view.

Having only been to Michigan twice, I was surprised by this great monument. I love the El Cid equestrian monument in San Diego, and this sculpture is equal to that.

Nice place to park and walk the river, lots of near by shops and bars . Live events at the park all the time
