Pay attention to Tim and his team. They are quickly becoming the new standard in Public Safety Diving and Instruction. I Started my journey taking ERDI 1 with Tim and his team .I was a little skeptical at first due the travel and expense involved . Several conversations and emails back and forth I decided to take the plunge ( so to speak ) and trust these guys. Five minutes into the lecture I knew I made the right investment. Tim lectures with such energy and love for this calling , it's infectious. Tim and his team all speak from experience and aren't affraid to let you learn from their mistakes. After all, isn't that what experience truly is? I just finnished my second course with the team at Northeast Public Safety Divers-Ice Rescue Technician . This class took me way out of my comfort zone both mental and physically. Once again the education combined with real life experience was phenomenal. The instructors pushed the entire class to be their best, all the while making sure everyone was physically safe and mentally in the game. The instructor to student ratio was amazing. No one was lost in the crowd or overlooked. I left with knowledge , pride and an amazing sense of acomplishment. One last thing, when they tell you, as their student you are now part of a larger family the mean it 100%. I always felt they looked after my safety as if I was a family member. I know from here out if I ever have a question or concern they will be there for me. I look forward to ERDI 2, contaminated water and CSI with the team.

Had a great experience with Tim and his staff. What a great group of passionate, knowledgeable divers. If you're thinking about training with them, do yourself the favor and pull the trigger on this younwont regret it.

The dedicated staff at North East Public Safety Divers (NEPSD) bring many things to the table for all of your public safety diving needs. First and foremost, the experience levels of the instruction staff at NEPSD is apparent from the minute you walk through the door. These men and women are the best in the business, which for a student, is an assuring feeling as you learn the tradecraft of this inherently dangerous and highly specialized field. Offering extensive classroom and hands on learning sessions with a “crawl before you walk, walk before you run” method, NEPSD makes sure they are teaching divers a versatile skill set to get the job done, to do it with utmost professionalism, and to come home alive. Having taken training all over the United States, I can assure you that when you come to NEPSD, you are getting something more than your bare mimimim competency training; you are getting the knowledge of over 100 years of combined diving experience, you are getting specialist and experts in their chosen field who take the time to give you 1:1 instruction, and you are gaining lifelong friends who by the end of the course, become your new public safety diving family. I am both honored and privileged to have been trained by this incredible group, and would recommend NEPSD to both novice PSD’s and the seasoned veterans, as there is something to be taken away from this training no matter how long you’ve been diving. NEPSD has the tools, knowledge, and commitment to improve your current dive team, enable you to start one from scratch, and everything in between. I am optimistic that with the level of training and the skill set I received in this course (Tender Technician, Full Face Mask, Dry Suit, Dive Technician), that I am both confident and competent to handle anything that may be thrown at me in the field. Tim, Alexis, John, Andrew, and the many other staff members who make this training possible, work like a well oiled machine, and deserve to be commended for their excellence. Thank you NEPSD, this class is something I will remember for many many years to come. “Loyal to our duty” Best regards, Investigator Kyle R. Lynch, D-ABMDI

Tim and the crew were called in to tweak our team and get us back on track. They did all of that and more. Tim was great to work with on billing, specifically adding and dropping diverS from the class last minute. Not only were they fantastic instructors but by the end of the weekend they fit right in with our team dynamic. Look forward to working with them again. BURGER!!!

Tim Andro and his instructors are this generation's new standard bearers for the practice, and instruction of Public Safety Diving. Tim along with his staff including James (F. and W.), Eric, Nick, and John have been providing me personally and the Dive Team that I lead in Pennsylvania with ERDI instruction for the last year. In that time we have pushed 8 divers through his program and have received invaluable instruction that has built experience, capability, and fostered a passion and dedication for public safety diving on our team. Above everything else I want to protect the members of my team and ensure their safety - the best way to do that is to ensure that they have the tools and knowledge to operate professionally, and ensure their personal safety and the safety of their fellow team members. Tim's training builds SAFE, effective teams. Until Tim retires you can trust that every single one of the divers on my team will receive instruction from and certify with him and his staff before they are a fully rated Public Safety Diver.

In my 18 years of being a public safety diver Tim and his crew are the by far the best group of instructors I've had the privilege to learn. Top tier professionals who know what they are doing and how to teach it.

The staff at NEPSD’rs are absolutely top notch. We met them at the Boston Sea Rovers convention years ago and hooked in for training shortly after. Our public safety dive team was fundamentally rebuilt and since then we never looked back. At this time we’ve had them up for multiple public safety diving certifications. Andros and his gang are not only tough as a frozen sack of hammers in a bilge full of experience but they work with every person in the group and NEVER put anybody down for a less experienced question or two. Thin Ice Ops was the last class I attended and although it was only 5 degrees at go-time we ended the day with a 100% success rate on a multi tasking sub ice operation. It doesn’t get any better, or more fun than this…. but dress well friends or you’re going to chip a nipple or two down there! J Whitehair - Hanover, NH PSDT
