This is a nice place to walk and clear your mind. The hills are a nice change from the relatively flat terrain of the area. The paths are well laid and easy to walk upon. There are restrooms available at the park's entrance. There's a nice playground area for the kids and there's a big field next to the playground to have a picnic or to exercise your dog(s). Bear Creek is a nice spot.

What a pleasant surprise of a park, very nice. There is a covered cookout area with six benches, a charcoal grill, a clearing area for picnics and some restrooms (although these appear temporarily closed). The most pleasant part of the park is an extensive set of trails back in the forest, including a small pond with seating. The pond had turtles, frogs and was a good spot to look for birds. The trail system included several style trails, including bike path quality, mowed paths and rough walking paths. Overall this is a great park, which we plan to return to sometime soon. Nice park for a walk even in the early spring/late fall.

I have been coming here my whole life. This park is absolutely amazing and fun to walk. There are a few grass paths as well as gravel paths. Walk through the woods, hang out by the pond or the boardwalk by the swamp. There is a playground with swings, play structure, see-saw, and more. I got to see the control burn this time, pretty cool.

I almost don’t want to share this beautiful spot with others!!!! Such gorgeous and kid friendly hikes that give beautiful MI scenery in every season. Try to find the abundant wild blackberry bushes on one trail - they are delicious. Great playground, and 2 restrooms that are maintained like they’re in a nice hotel (not kidding!).

Bear Creek was wonderful as always. Love the wildflowers, meadows, and of course the pond with all the turtles! Regretted not bringing my good camera. Both sunny and shaded areas to walk. The winding paths through the rolling hills, meadows, and woods provide a serene environment to enjoy nature. For those with children, there is a nice playground in the front, as well as restrooms.

A great park in Rochester. A true gem. There is a nice playground and plenty of space for running around. There is a well kept nature trail entrance here too. They have bathrooms ( not just portajohns) and plenty of parking. The gazebo is nice and has great park benches and tables. They even have lights for at night. You can stop by the office at the Cider Mill nearby and reserve the gazebo. It's a really fantastic park.

Winter Fest 2019 at Bear Creek Park. This was a fantastic event with snow games, penguin bowling, snow ball fights, and archery! They had free skating for all and even free rental skates in all sizes. Pizza and sandwiches along with unlimited hot chocolate. The park workers I spoke with were so helpful and informative. We will definitely be there again next year!!
